GPS does not work. Your most likely getting a location using WIFI, turn of wifi and try again. almost positive the closest your location radius is 20m. GPS on stock gets as close as 3m with clear skys. also to really see if your seeing any satellites and gettin a lock download GPS STATUS AND TOOLBOX from market.

yeah HD youtube works.... GPS and Camera seem like last things that need fixing. camera apps on the market work so that not a big deal. Personally using ics camera+!

Agreed I just came from hydro and this is a beast
I only have to follow the list below, right?
1. Make sure you're on the latest CWM or TWRP
2. MAKE A NANDROID
3. wipe data/factory reset in recovery
4. flash ROM
5. flash Gapps
6. reboot
Awesome. I do use Google Maps alot so I'll wait for the GPS fix before diving into this ROM. But I can't wait. I have used JB and it is alot smoother than ICS....

yea just flashed this. Its incredible. Havent come across any bugs yet but damn this **** is butta! Its basically a fully working JB rom with a slight amout of AOKP tweaks.

So far I noticed the app switcher crashes systemui and when I let it sit for a couple hours, it fell into deep sleep, and wouldn't wake up. Ill try again later with intersects kernal to see if it helps.

For those wondering about SD HD and Netflix working, they don't. Beautiful ROM nonetheless.
Sweet rom, I tested on my kindle fire and back to CM7 Barebones w8ing for hardware acceleration. Keep Up the good work... impressive ICS on kindle.

Some apps from market is causing MIUI iu to force close., (hmm seemed fixed after uninstalling an ice livewallpaper or re arranging some icons)
Live wallpapers are the only working wallpapers.
What about adding volume control at the notification bar? I (installed the app volume in Notification and it's working flawless)

Umm yea, I got the same question. When I click the Apps Preview thing, it Force closes. This will likely be my daily build cause I need a switch up from CM on my phone.

Be patient haven't you noticed both these aokp and paranoid build just popped up for our device. Look how long it took to combine on smart phones. But i do agree with you ill be waiting patiently.

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.

This is not a feature that is available right now, only for phone calls. You will have to wait until AOKP merges it in, and PACman is updated.

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

I flashed this 4.2 transformation pack on top of the ROM and Google Talk works now.
My camera completely brother after this. I've tries multiple apps with no success

This ROM is compiled from the latest sources. It is a very snappy ROM; however it does not have as many theming options as ChameleonOS or PAC-man ROM. I have only had this phone for 6 days now, and this is now my second ROM for the device. LiquidSmooth has many features such as Performance Control and Pie Control, but still maintains the "lite" feel to it. Installation Instructions:
1.) download ROM and gapps and put them on your SD
2.) boot into recovery
3.) wipe data, cache and dalvik
4.) flash ROM and gapps. Seriously the ROM wont work well without gapps
5.) reboot and let it sit for 5-10 min
6.) enjoy!

I think I found a bug. When in the camera mode, every time i tried switching to the FFC I'm getting an error about the gallery and the camera FC. Then launching the camera again I get another FC. Only by clearing the data of the gallery I get the camera working again. Anyone seen this issue?

I was listening to music for the past hour and that does not happen. Perhaps you were charging it while you were listening or something, but I doubt the problem is ROM related.
Edit: check your battery drain. If its really fast, for example streaming from Google play music, than that might be the reason its getting hot, although it won't matter if you have headphones in or not. Also maybe your pockets are warm. Sorry that's all the ideas I have.

boot animation
First off, THANK YOU for providing us tweakers with another option for our aging phones. Still getting artifacts with boot animation, reflection at top of screen. Again thank you for sharing with us.

That's not an artifact that's just a poorly made bootanimation. If I find a better one, I will include it.

Probably not, I hate doing ports, I only like source builds. If they have sources for it than sure. Otherwise only if I suddenly find allot of extra time

if so，maybe you can try the mokee opensource project one day if you are willing to，it is just another great rom in China,and it is opensourced.

Just flashed [ROM][4.4.2] HellFire™KITKAT 2.8 and now this to my card. I use as DD my S4 stock for now. So my S3 is my rooted monster and test w/WiFi only. Good for me however bad for when everyone is asking about data. Your HF is the only 4.4.2 that camera worked is great because I can only use the camera in the field so it and WiFi are all I need working. I'm going to run HF today and maybe install this later either way I'll have it and glad I can still be 4.4.2.

Here is something you can do I keep a working camera apk on my SD with romtool box and if I have a bad camera I uninstall the stock build one and restore the working one it works everytime

Im making my backups... I really want PA. I'm going to do an extra clean flash. wipe internal, system, data, dalvik, cache, and use an alternate external sd card w/ only the rom gapps, supersu and tibu zips. I want NO bugs. lol. still waiting on Vanir too kinda so it works out to be patient.

Duhhhhhh Go figure I have never thought of that..... any suggestions on a great working camera apk? I have almost everyone somewhere on my computer I should be able to find one easy. In your opinion which is smoother HK or this?

I can't really call a better or smoother ROM they all have their own thing

Its a beta so yes there are bugs like but there are work arounds if your looking for a dd replace camera with the one I posted OR try Hellfire 2.8 or Gummy

I love this ROM! I had the best battery life and signal connection I've had in a long time today. My only con is the Bluetooth. It won't turn on for me. Is there a work around for this. I just tried it on Hellfire too, and couldn't get my BT media to connect to anything. Only the phone part would connect then cycle on and off. I'm going to try Gummy next, but I want to come back to this if I can have my BT again
