..No I meant it looks better in red and metal is still used. but i did feel the top and bottom caps sturdier the camera button was responsiver too!

One day I woke up and I noticed all the pictures from my camera were weird.. they couldn't focus bright light properly and had a bit of a "glaze" to them. I attached some pics for example. I looked at the lens and after cleaning it found its coating was coming off. Since the Ion is my main camera, do any of you know how to fix this? It would be greatly appreciated!!
Im having the same problem. The only way to fix this is buy another back panel for your phone. Dont use any wet substance or chemicals while cleaning the lens.

nope.
I ended up calling AT&T and they'll send me a new Ion since I'm still under 1 year Warranty and this isn't considered "Physical Damage".
Right now though, I feel like selling my Ion for a HTC One Nexus Edition though... Decisions, decisions..

Damn!
I have the same problem. My lens has few light scratches and now it takes glazy photos
Actually, I opened up the phone and removed the lens. No side effects, as of now.

I had Xperia S for almost a year and didn't have such problem.
But the Ion has got this problem just in 3 months

My ion lense is also with scratches in 2 months..i just want to know if i remove it than is there any dust collection problem or not?

Yeah...i am changing my mind
If it is due to software than official jb will be have some fix for it...hope so..
Pictures are also some tinted with green red with cybershot mod too....
Some one plz tell if it(cam) is good in GB????

Well, I just cleaned up the lens with glass cleaner. Rubbed the cotton bit harder and all coating is gone now.
Camera is producing normal pictures now.

Hey guys I've looking at buying the Xperia z or the Xperia zl but the back glass panel of the xz worries me as there seems to be a lot of people saying it's happening to them, so I started looking at the zl as it's very similar but has a different back but I can't seem to find any ones that are new in the UK, so my questions are is the back really that big a problem on the z and is there a good place to get the zl from in the UK?

I am using black one because its look classy and nice .
White is not a good option . After some months white becomes like dirty yellow.
My suggestion is purple and black .:good:

It is light, modern and looks cool

Don't get the white one, as LED is barely visible. All other colours, you get buy a separate back cover to change the colour.
The front panel is separate from the sides and back. Only the sides and back are coloured

Just as a heads up, I have black on on Three UK. They don't give you headphones. Using Samsung ones.
