[SOLVED] [Q] ROMs to galaxy ace gt-s5830i?

I bought a samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830i a while ago. I tried to root and install CyanogenMod for gt-s5830 on it, but it got bricked ... I fixed it and rooted it(after several bricked times). I installed ClockWorkMod to it aswell (all thx to xda).
Now i wonder if it exist any Mod(s) to gt-s5830i? I have serched on xda, but cant find any ...

I'm exited by CyanogenMod 9.0.0-RC0-GT-S5830-GalaxyICS-KANG-beta5 by Maclaw and waiting for this weekend to try it. Does it support GT-5830i? Somebody knows? (as my mind the answer is "no", 'cuz it different HW )
Device was crushed on CWM installing. Now completely recovered.

No, cyanogen mod is a rom, and there is loads of roms to flash!
You should of looked at a tutorial!

can somebody comfirm dat CyanogenMod support GT-5830i?

ROMs for 5830 are not supporting s5830i!!Trying to flash them will cause brick!It can be fixed but still no point in bricking your phone..it has different hardware.In fact people are trying to port CM 7.2 RC1 but it has many bugs and we need help to fix them!!

i tried to flash ics for s5830i and it said operation aborted but nothin harmful happened my phone is still the same

No... If its for gt-S5830 and not for gt-S5830i then it will(!) brick your phone if you try to install it. Srry for late answer :banghead:.

But i also need a help from you on my another mobile which is from Samsung GALAXY GT -S5830 (I) its i model. i had done the custom rom on it and converted it into jelly bean version. Facing lots of problem ,Please help me out to roll back it into previous version means original samsung android version.

bro
at that time my phone got bricked (soft brick ).........
and i flashed it with odin.................
now i modified that rom and i have tested it , installation was succesful ............but stuck at black screen after the samsang logo...no more bricking
Maroc-OS told me that is just because of graphics
dont know how to solve it...thats why i open a new thread to get info from senior members

man...you're trying to port a 'modified' cm7. there's a huge task that you should do before that. it is port a 'standard' cm7.

And why open a new thread? you could have posted this there itself!

[Q] [Help] Double Split Screen

Hi folks,
after flashing the following rom

I have the problem that my galaxy starts with a split screen!
The picture is doubled and I see it twice.
after flashing back to stock rom, I have this problem only with the boot logo.
Any ideas?

Its dev section post it in general or FAQ thread ...........
BTW. wipe data and reflash new rom...

Flash Different firmware. EX: If You have DXLB1, flash XXLA2..............etc.
if this persist,only have one soluction: Warrant Service :s

Hmmmm. This sounds interesting it would be cool if we could make this bug into a tweak for split screen games etc.

[Q] stuck on logo

I got a problem, I tried to install repencis 3.5 rom and it stuck
On the galaxy y logo, what can I do?

[Q] help please

i lost galaxy y bootsplash i flashed stock rom and now instead of bootsplash i get a white screen and then some lines appear then every thing seems normal can anyone help me fix this??

you have flashed the wrong firmware for your phone/used odin wrong or have hardware fault
if you can still get into download mode flash the correct firmware for your phone or use odin correctly
If you can no longer get into download mode you will have to take your phone to a repair shop
please note - ironically questions should go in the questions and answers section

Someone please ask a mod to move thread to Q&A. I am on mobile XDA so I cannot do it.
