Has anyone else noticed flash lags really bad on ICS? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

I like to stream movies to my phone because my old ****ty computer overheats, and yes that includes porn and others, and the video stutters a lot? Audio is fine but does anyone know a work around to fix this? I tried uninstalling and re-installing flash as well as other browsers.

[Q] corrup videos after recording?

Is anyone else having an issue with their camcorder videos coming out unplayable through the gallery about a 1/3 of the time? i have full length videos with an exclamation mark popping up amongst other videos that i have.. but when i use a pc they play fine or they dont have an audio track. wtf? anyone else?
Yea. The same thing is happening to me. The old videos and all the old pictures i had installed as well would show up in the gallery with the little error image, until they just stopped showing up all together.
It happened after either slideroot2 or the newest slide radio update. I have been assuming its just a memory card issue caused by my computers media sync software being disconnected or something.
Are you rooted? on what?
Strange... I'm still on stock firmware from when I bought the phone.. I haven't rooted because I haven't seen a rom worthy of me doing so.. a few of my videos after they finish recording they jus become corrupt and unplayable even tho they were fine while recording.. one of them even had no audio track.. idk what's the problem

[Q] 720p Videos with subs

Hi all,
I've just recently purchase a Surface RT, am still getting use to Win RT environment.
There is a slight issue, is there anyway to fix the audio lag issue?
I've tried playing 1080p videos, 720p videos (WMV, MKV, MP4) without any lag using mobile.HD. But when I switched on the subs, the audio lags behind for 5, 6 seconds. I've used the performance tips given by the Internet (disable windefender, disable animations, and stuff), nothing seems to be working.
Anyone has the same problem? Or ways to solve it?
Sounds like an app problem more than anything else. I've never tried, so I can't suggest anything better, but it's been a common discussion thread here.
I've gone through any available thread on the internet with regards to the issue, seems that no one has replied to this particular issue. I've tried many players, none of them works without the audio lag. Guess will have to wait till VLC is released.
On the plus side, that *is* coming, sometime... so there will be that, at least.

Twitch HD streaming lag on AOSP ROMs

I have tried just about every infected ROM, plus some other ones (Mahdi and Candykat) with different kernels (mani and redkernel) they all have the same issue.
When I go onto the Twitch app and go into a game stream and change the quality to Source (which I assume is 1080p) after a while the video starts to lag, sound gets choppy and unsynced, and after a minute or so the stream just stops.
This doesn't happen with Stock 4.4.2 ROM though, so anybody have any idea how to fix it?
Thanks.

Need Help with Hulu Performance Troubleshooting

My tablet (sgh-i467) has been experiencing performance issues with Hulu and Hulu only. My father has the same exact tablet and when we play the same video on Hulu, his is smooth and mine is choppy. Every other video playing app, Crunchyroll, Youtube, streaming off of the network, works flawlessly. Troubleshooting so far has not gone very well. I went as far as to perform a factory reset with no positive results what so ever. I am wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot the problem.

Well it looks like his is still on JB and yours updated to KK.
KK is terrible, and LP is gonna be worse... There is nothing you can do to revert back to JB. You can ask to swap tablets after backing up everything.
I have been testing with my cheapo Ebay tablet on KK. Found that Music likes Ondemand, system and normal apps like Pegasus. Some video apps are a mixed bunch, so one way or another will find a good playback. Hulu and Xfinity TV go like Performance with no overlays.
It is not the best, but better than stock kernal settings.
I am finding you can mess with Build.prop, WFDconfig, and capability files, to get better playback as well. Seems like both JB and KK like similar mods with wfd and streaming settings.
Not everything plays well with KK, so take small steps to find out what helps and what does not.
Right now I am playing around with 5000000 on the upper encoding for wfd. Also keeping profiles no higher than 1280x720 ... as many S4 and S5 files floating around push 1920x1080 because of their higher pixel rate. I find audio is safe with higher bit rates as well. Moving from 128000 to 192000 keeps things smooth and a wee higher detail.

I also have unwatchable Hulu since updating to KitKat. Thought I could change from Dalvik to Art and/or disable hardware video but I can find neither in Settings.

Video stutters

Hello,
I have tried several streaming sites and the video stutters on most of them. DC universe, sling, fubo all stutter but the audio is good.
YouTube, twitch and Disney+ all work fine.
Also, the video only seems to stutter on my phone and not if I cast to Chromecast.
Does anyone know a fix for this?
I am on Android 9.0 on a custom room. It worked good on the room I had previous, but I had to change for other reasons, I haven't changed anything, unsure of what it could be.
