[Q] Market server errors?

Both my wife and I (both on Fresh 3.1.0.1) are getting server errors trying to access android market tonight. Anyone else having this problem? Tried rebooting, tried routing through wifi, neither helped.

Just flashed king's kernel 4 and i'm seeing the same market issues.

EDIT: nvm, seems to be the local tower plus market refusing to go thru wifi. Sorry.

Edited OP. 3G here is spotty, so I thought it might be that market refused to go thru wifi for some weird auth-related reason. I wasn't seeing packets going thru the router, at least. But I turned off wifi, verified that I was able to route packets thru 3G, and still no market.

Gotcha. I do hope they fix it soon. There's nothing worse that being bored and wanting to browse apps. It's funny because I normally don't browse much on the app store. Maybe it's my fault

theres a all around problem with the market for the last hour or so i just tested both my Evo and a old Samsung Moment laying around the house and both are having the same problem.(Also my Evo's Rom is the stock rooted 2.2)

I just flashed a new ROM and thought something was bad. Good to know it's not just me.

It got me too, hopefully it's just some maintenance, although the least they could do would be to post a notice

It seems to be back up. However, I can't find some apps, and it's not showing free apps in the list anywhere near the top when I search (e.g. my wife just searched for "clock" -- she wants a new clock widget). I'm hoping this is a temporary problem.
Actually I'd really like to be able to filter to get just free apps on a search, but, no go on this.

I think they are SLOWLY getting it back up. I don't have top paid tab in my market. Its loading very slow, and a lot of apps are missing. Hopefully it will be sorted out by morning.

I have the most bizarre issue with Facebook.. please help

A few days ago my Facebook app was loading pages super slowly, taking a minute or more to even load them. This isn't unusual, as the Facebook app sucks. I normally just switch to the mobile site and carry on. The thing is, the mobile site is loading super slowly too, and not just that, if I use Opera and force load the full site, even THAT is super slow. This is the only website that I'm having any problems with at all and it's happening regardless of my current connectivity state (wifi, 3g and 4G - its not discriminating.) I've searched the web and not seeing anyone else have this issue and it's continued on a trip I just took from KY to Chicago so I am absolutely stumped. Everything else, including all other websites are working perfectly. Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong?

I have the same issues. I can't even post a status from the app. More than likely it has to do with the roll out of the timeline profile. Its slowing don't their servers

Still having the same issue. Not happening to my girlfriend on the mobile or my work partner on sprint. Any suggestions?

Was having thisenissues until last night. Everything is now working at a normal speed although notifications are still not working for me (since 182 update)

force stop the app then restart the app this normally works

It's just the app. I'm on my home Wi-Fi and it hasn't gotten any faster. Never expect good things from Facebook. Period.

[Q] Staying connected to 4g downloading large files

Does anyone have problems staying connected to 4g when downloading large files? Even when not moving the phone and leaving it on the desk with 3 bars of 4g? The 4g will just stop working after a while even though it shows it's connected and I can no longer use any data until i disable 4g and reconnect (it's not just sleeping it just stops working). Usually if I decide to transfer a couple large dropbox files back and forth. I'm not tethering a all and 3g is less than 100kpbs most of the time so that's not helpful .

this crap just happened to me. smh. 300mb file, 4g disconnects at 89%. no way to resume download either without doing the whole thing again.

I usually watch a couple YouTube videos to keep the internet going.

This isn't the problem we're havinIg. It soda with everything no maturer what you're doing. So far I've found a down load manager which claims to support resuming, so I guess I'll try this.

Google play downloads extremely slow?

HTC M8 here, ever since I upgraded to this phone I have experienced slow slow speeds with Google play store.
When updating an app, get 130k per second. This is with wifi OFF. Speedtest shows I have at least 20mb/second downloading no problem.
Anyone else have slow updating speeds?

I'm having the same problem. I'm using Samsung galaxy 4 on CyanogenMod 11 with Telus. Its so slow downloading on Google play but fast on WiFi and when I watch Netflix or internet, its fast on LTE... So annoying.

Tried Factory RESET !!! < No LUCK
Change Google Account < No Luck
Change Routers< No LUCK
Changing ROMS <No LUCK
CAN"T FIND A SOLUTION !!!!!!:crying::crying:

You guys can try clearing cache? Also makeing sure that you have the newer version of google play store.

[Q] Stock Chrome browser slow loading pages

All,
Have any of you new G4 owners been experiencing ridiculously slow page loading times with the stock browser? My old GS3 loads web pages much faster in Chrome by comparison, as does my work iPhone. What gives?!

Same here. With stock chrome it's lagging when i watch a movie on website.

Have you tried a different version of chrome like the beta, or my favorite right now, Chrome Dev?

I haven't tried any other versions of chrome...did notice that I wasn't even able to load a page at all while photos were uploading, wonder it has to do more with how it's handling data traffic.

I've noticed it also happens when using the "in app" browsers in Facebook or Twitter. I've also tried increasing the memory available to chrome using by typing in by changing maximum tiles for interest area to 512 to no avail.

I'm beginning to think this may be a wifi connection issue, even tho my wifi tests faster than the 4G connection. Pages are loading much more quickly over 4G.

It just seems to have problems loading web pages for me. Sometimes I will just get black squares but other times it just wont load. I will refresh and get nothing for awhile. I'm doing this at home where my Note 4 wasn't having a problem. Also doing this on cellular data. I doubt this is a network issue.

I did try chrome beta and Opera mini- opera was faster due to the data compression, but chrome beta was just as slow to load.

Has anyone found a fix for this..my browser loading sucks same for my wife an she has the g3 but it's only on wifi an I know it's not wifi via I play online game an they play fine an her iPod an r tablets run great on it....any help with be greatful...thank you

Root-Adaway problem solved tolpic closed xD

I've noticed insanely slow loading times using IPv6 over WiFi with some Comcast modems, so I rooted and disabled v6. Dunno if you guys are having the same issue, but it fixed my problems. Apps like Instagram were slow to load/refresh as well, though.

yup had this issue on my note 3, only improved on disabling adaway. so far its not occurred on my g4 using adaway so not even sure what triggers it.
