Does anyone know if the Lumia 900 will be sold in the US to buy off of contract?
If so then importing to UK/EU via somewhere like BundleBox might be worth a shot?
Does it works in UK? Main power is 110 in US, at all network...

Nokia Portugal has said that the Lumia 900 is coming to Europe.
And yes, all of AT&T phones can be bought off contract. You'll need the fax AT&T the receipt to get the unlock code.
I heard Rogers in Canada is likely to carry the Lumia 900. I would think they allow off contract purchase of this phone since they are selling the Pentaband Lumia 710 off contract already.
Coming April 27th it seems. This is the first time I want to buy a white phone
Anyone placed a preorder yet?

My Lumia 900 Was meant to be sent off tomorrow, Received this email today, What a shocker
Dear Customer ,
Thank you for your order for the amazing new Nokia Lumia 900 Windows phone from Phones4U, you are going to be one of the first people in the UK to experience the phone that has taken North America by storm since its launch earlier this month. When you placed your order with us, neither Nokia nor Phones4U were fully aware of how successful the Lumia 900 launch would be. Due to the current level of demand for the Nokia Lumia 900, we will not now be able to send you your device on the 27th April.
In the UK, the Nokia Lumia 900 will be available exclusively from Phones4U from the 14th of May. We apologise for what will be a short delay and we expect to be able to send you your new Nokia Lumia 900 on the 14th May.
We understand that you will be disappointed so, in addition to receiving your free Nokia Play 360 wireless speaker, we would like to inform you that, as you were among the first people in the UK to order your Lumia 900, you will also now receive a set of Nokia Purity by Monster in ear headphones (RRP £99.99). We know that this will not make your Lumia appear any faster, but we hope it will make the wait a little more bearable.
Kind regards
Phones4U & Nokia
There is too much demand for this phone in the US right now that's why it is delayed. They want to have enough stocks for AT&T.
Always amazes me how across the pond get everything first eh we normally get left with ****ty colour options and barrel scrapings, Then again at least it wont have AT&T branding
It might be amusing for us to discover we have a new use for our Lumia 900's
CNET - Nokia Lumia 900 is tough as nails - literally

Hey so I have a $1000 MS store gift card and i want to buy a lumia 920 (in november or whenever it comes out)...but i need it with no contract. Does anyone know if the microsoft store sells no contract phones?
Thanks!
Yes and no, it looks like for the Lumina 900 they are still referring you to AT&T, but you can still pick up an unlocked Lumina 800,

Of course, if you don't want it, I'll that the store credit, that or you could wait for the Surface or buy a Signature PC.

eh..i'll pass...i'll wait for the surface...seems nice
Yes, they sell all of the phones they have no-contract. I have purchsed several there over the years.
In fact in some cases they are selling no-contract phones when the carriers won't. When the 900 first came out the AT&T store would NOT sell me an off-contract phone but the MS store did.
Note that no-contract *does not* mean unlocked. Any no-contract phone they sell will still be locked, unless specifically advertised otherwise (example: Lumia 800 they were selling).

I'm sick of waiting for Lumia 920 or at least Nexus 4 so I'm going to purchase a used Lumia 900 for temporary use. So why should and should not buy this phone at the moment?
Thank you all for your help
If you plan to buy the 920 then you should wait. I like my 900, but the wait is worth it if you are planning to buy it.
Take your time
Wait for next year after most new rumoured phones will be released then you will know which one to buy
