Is there a callback feature with the one X ?, for example when i miss a call from someone is there a option to call them straight back instead of having to go into call history or contacts ??.

I need to know if there is a following setting fo WM5:
1) is there any patch to remind the missing calls continously ?
i mean when a call unanswered, the option will adjust it to remind the call by repeat it within 1 minute or 2 minutes or any adjustable rate. samsung mobile phones have this option and is very useful for remind the missing calls and also for messages.
2) how can i adjust SMS text message tone different from CB (channel broadcast) cell message tone ?
i am not able to apply different ringtones for SMS text message and CB (cell channel messages) anyway to apply different tones instead of same tone ?
2) when i look to a missing call i also wonder if there is a option to see the caller name or number on main notifier screen instead of "1 missinh call" like normal mobile phones show it.
3) i also want to learn if there is a way to use MDA Pro camera for video call on Messenger and on skype to chat by video ?
above 3 feature is very usefull for me and want to learn is there is a possibility for above features.
thanks.
Hello,
When I used Windows Mobile I had and app that could filter and block call. I could add some phones to my blacklist (so if I received an call from this number it would block it) whitelist and I could also send some pre-wrote SMS when receiving a call.
So if I were on a meeting and someone called me, I could send him a SMS saying "This is an auto response: I'm in a meeting right now and I'll call you back when it finishes." I could do this direclty in the answering screen. I could "Answer" the call, "reject" and "ignore and send SMS"
Does anyone knows if we have a similar app for Android? Couldn't find it in the Android market.
Thanks
I'm not sure about the auto-SMS feature, but the Galaxy S has a built-in feature to block calls from certain numbers.
I m looking for the same. I did found the app AutoResponder whitch sends a predefinded SMS to all incoming calls when the app is activated. Its not exactly what im looking for because im not able to choose on incoming call screen whether i want to send the SMS or not.

Yeah. With this Windows app that I had on my HTC Kaiser (one year ago... after that I used a Blackberry for sometime). I could choose which call I would answer with SMS. I could see who was calling and decide to answer, ignore or send the SMS.
Get Easy filter 1.2 from market or install the other hundreds using "filter" as keyword

Sending SMS to reject call is available on our SGS out of the box. When a call comes through, there is this little arrow at the bottom of the screen. Pull that up and you can see the list of auto-reject SMS messages. Click on 1 and your phone will reject the call and send out the SMS.
You can configure the list of messages under Settings->Call Settings->All Calls->Reject Call with Message
Hi,
for me "call & sms filter" from easyfilter works very well.
I can recommend it. And its for free.
Positive: has not only negative list but also positive list (block all except....).
Try "QSMS To Buddy:FullFeatured" free app from android market
Use "QSMS to buddy" App from android market.
- This app allows you to send sms to missed/rejected calls.
- It also allows you to send a 'default' sms after user specified time period. e.g. you can specify to send a msg after 10 secs
- *** You send sms during "Outgoing" call reject as well
- *** You have ability to messages while sending the reject sms depending on the context. e.g. "I will call back in 10 mins" instead of "I will call back later"
There are other interesting features as well in this app. Watch demo at youtube with key word "QSMS : Quick SMS To Buddy

So, I'm using Google Voice to talk to a bunch of people via text.. but they don't have my Verizon number. I'm wondering if there is a way to route individual people so that when I call them, they see my Voice number.
I know that I can make it so that my phone asks which I'd like to use for every call I make, but is there a way so that if I call X person it goes through voice, but if I call everyone else in my contact list it goes through my Verizon number.
Thanks!
Yes there is, when you call/recieve a text using your google voice number.. a routing number shows up. This number is unique to everyone. (When you call it briefly shows it at the top of the screen)
Save this number and if you text or call it directly from your cell phone (no google voice) your google voice number will show up. So save this routing number for whoever you want to call with google voice only.
I installed Google Voice on my AT&T HTC One X and installed the Google Voice App. I disabled the AT&T Visual Voicemail and AT&T Messages apps.
I add the cell number to my Google Voice account. I went through the process to enter the code to forward voicemail on my phone to my Google Voice number.
** I selected the option in Advanced Settings for the cell number to "go directly to Voicemail" in Google voice **
However, when I call my cell, it rings 5 times, then forwards to Google Voice, then rings 5 times before the Voicemail picks up, so it takes 10 or 11 rings to get to my voicemail!
I used a separate phone and called my Google Voice number directly and it takes 5 rings before voicemail picks up.
It seems that Google Voice for some reason isn't recognizing my cell as a forwarded to voicemail call and is treating it like a normal call.
Help!
You might want to ask this in the AT&T One X forum, this one is for Tegra 3.

I think I figured it out. Since AT&T doesn't have "tight" GV integration, like Verizon, to activate you are essentially just forwarding the call. When the call comes in to GV, the number is not the number of the cell, but the number of the person calling, so GV doesn't know if this is a direct call or a forwarded call that was unanswered from the cell.
There's a simple solution but it only works because I'm not using my GV phone number for incoming calls. Just turn the Do Not Disturb feature on in GV and now all calls go direct to voicemail.

This works alright but GV does not pick up voicemail when Do Not Disturbe is turned on....at least this is what I am finding.
Hello
I've searched but I can't find an app that forwards unknown/private number to another number but not in voicemail, all block call apps send the to voicemail. One of my friends can identify unknown numbers and I want to divert all unknown numbers to him. Thanks

It works on my network
First set call forwarding in
phone - call setting - call forwarding - voice call - fprward when busy - input number on which number you want to forward
then blocking call should forward to that number
Though it may depends on network, there is application Root call blocker have different scenario to block, one of it should forward to define number.
first try default in built call blocking, if not works then try third party app
