Hi guys,
As the topic states, I noticed last week while cleaning my screen I have a scratch around 1 inch on the top left... No idea how it happened. With my S2 I dropped it several times on the floor and it's still clean as new. Any tip to the scratch?
Thanks
You can buy a screen protector which usually fills in the scratch so it's not noticeable and protects against future scratches!

Meh I never thought gorilla glass 2 would be scratchable, my s2 didn't have a single scratch. Which protector is recommanded?, ebay, invisible shield, bodyguard?

im with you, ever since the first galaxy ive never experienced a scratch.. till now, its sad, i have like 2 tiny scratches.. ive just been real careless with my phone lately =/
Armor Suit has worked really well for me. If you give it a 5 start rating after purchasing it on Amazon, they usually ship you a free extra protector.

Yeh and it doesnt work lol. Ends up blurry.
Melt the glass with a blow torch. In theory it works but I would not try it for obvious reasons

How does the armorSuit shield feel when you touch it? is it like the invisible shield or an ebay protector? I never thought I would have to use a protector again
most of the scratches are on the oleophobic coating. You can try this to see if it gets restored.

I say just live with it. In one year will you care? You will get the galaxy s4. Its just a phone. The android OS will outgrow it and when it becomes slow you. I just saw a scratch on my s3 today. I'm not crying about it. My s2 had a scratch too. These screens do scratch I dont care how careful you are. :good:

I like the ivisor screen protectors. They feel good and the screen still looks great.

If u like invisibleshield, try out xtremeguard. They are exactly the same thing, except xtremeguard is a lot cheaper.

Do we still have to use screen protector for this device? The only information I got is that it's oleophobic, but is it scratch resistant as well? Bought this device 2nd hand and it has a screen protector but it's cheap and getting scratches already, I want to remove it but I'm hesitating haha

Yes you need one.
Screen is not scratch resistant

Haven't bothered with a screen protector. Just get a case with a nice lip and place the phone in a pocket that doesn't also have keys and lose change.
If you did get a screen protector, a tempered glass one would pry be the best.

I dropped my phone and now I have a crack on the bottom of my screen, I have liquid armour installed but I guess it wasnt good enough. How would I replace the glass I can't pay more then $50! Also is tempered glass screen protectors any good?

I'd rather have scratches than use a screen protector. But FWIW, I've never been able to scratch the screen on either of my N7's.

Same here, I have both N7's and 0 scratches and I don't use aftermarket screens.
