Hi, I'm trying to install CM9 on my roommates T989. I haven't been able to find a working download for the radio anywhere, including the team chopsticks page. Is the radio required? Can someone point me in the right direction.

If he's already running an ICS ROM he doesn't need one. Otherwise there are radios here. Flash them before the ROM.

I have never updated my radio on my gnex yet but I was wondering if there is or will be an update.zip for the 4.0.4 radio soon/if not how and where would I find just the radio for the LTE gnex and install this?

Thank you so much, now my only question is can i install this with 1) a 4.0.3 rom aka. is it okay to install both the radio and bootloader on a 4.0.3 rom. And 2) is it okay (if yes to the first question) to install this on the cm9 kang 2/6 which is what im currently running. Thanks for all the expertise

afaik bootloaders don't affect radios and yes you can flash them over any rom

The newest on CDMA is FA02, but I'm not sure about GSM.

Have you tried flashing a different rom and then flashing back to CM9?
I'm new with all this so I don't know what other ROM I could install on my phone. I tried installing MIUI but it doesn't seem to work cuz my phone shows the stock ROM. Any idea what ROMs work good? I'm a noob

There is Wildchild 2.0, I have a tutorial on how to get it working with my virgin mobile phone, it might work for metro, and it's better than CM9 at the moment. Only thing better is battery life. There is hensemod and a few stock roms that are tweaked.

I'm not sure if flashing a new rom will work or not, but it's worth a try.

CM9 ALPHA8 from dudemen gets rid of that roaming problem.

No, why did you upgrade your hboot in the first place if you are planning to use CM10?
Use Trips rom and kernel with unified hboot. I'm running it right now and everything works, even gps. Remember to flash the the newest kernel, it fixes som problems and bugs

hello..
i have started using cyanogenmod 10..and my phone is rooted also..
it wass working fine but from last one day..superuser is not working..and when i open any application which requires permision to access..
the message is displayed IT works only with Rooted phones please help..me!!!
Now what to do too root the device??
By installing cm10 realize you are rooted. There is an issue with some builds that broke superuser, go to the thread you downloaded cm10 from and look for the fix or flash a different build/rom that doesn't have this issue

So can you suggest me the best rom of cm or others?
There are many to choose from and best is objective
For now try out mimicry and make a nandroid back up and then try others to find what suits your needs

does anybody have a bug with the auto brighness not sticking and the gps , the gps have to reboot to get a fix , other than that the rom rocks , well i put some tweaks that i have , but great rom , thanks for the rom
