As stated in the object, based on your experience which one would you suggest me for this beautiful phone?
Thank you..
Never used Skinomi but zagg is pretty good, used it on my atrix
Never liked zagg, it turns yellow and grungy. I have had them replace it a few times but it sucks that I need to pay shipping on a warranty.
Ive used neither. I have ordered a skinomi in anticipation of getti g my nexus hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Oh forgot to mention, i usually order a bunch of el cheapos from hong kong. Premium protectors usually do last longer, but if you find some decent cheap ones it can be more economical. I usually get 5 for $4 shipped from hk, and the skinomi i just ordered was $6 for one. Usually 2 or 3 premium ones are $10-$15. Doing the math and usually changing protectors about every 6 weeks id rather buy 10 from hk and that will last the life of the phone.

I've always been a big fan of ZAGG protectors. I have them on most of my devices. They can be a REAL pain to apply, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. I've never had a problem with them. I did screw up an installation once.. was a bit too aggressive with the squeegee, left a bunch of marks, but they were nice enough to ship me a free replacement
This time, I'm trying Skinomi. Mainly because ZAGG now charges a ridiculous shipping fee for Canada ($17 on a 12$ protector!!). Whereas Skinomi ships for free to Canada.
Anyways whichever you decide, here are some lovely coupon codes
skinomi: get25 (25% off)
zagg: youmobile (cant remember but it was 3$ off my order)
I ordered a Zagg. Also have one on my Vibrant and I'm used to it. Very durable and wipes clean since it does collect smudges easily. Replacement warranty is good, too.
If you're in the states, verizon sells a 3pack of pretty decent screen protectors. I picked mine up at a local store.

never buy accessories from a verizon store. they rip u off.
Waiting for the martin fields screen and camera protector. Should be available shortly after the galaxy nexus gets released in Asia (whenever that may be).
My friend has it on his S2 and I didn't even realize it was on.

I always use Zagg on all my electronics. JSYK www.zagg.com is running 50% off today and tomorrow site wide and free shipping for orders over $29.99. I got my GN and full body MacBook Air shiel for $34.99 shipped.
I was using Zagg Invisibleshield in my last 2 devides (Nokia E61 and currently the Nexus).
However, I bought the LG Nexus 4 yesterday, and I wanted to buy the Hi-Def Insisible Shield (not available yet to Nexus 4).
Because of that, I will try a different protection and buy the Skinomi for a change (front and back cover).

Tested zagg before. Lasted less than a month. Hate the feel, hate the orange peel, hate the yellowish color. Bought skinomi and everything was better

I bought a zagg screen protector at radioshack last week for $4.50 and it looks really nice on the phone
I really like XO protectors. And If you want more economical packaging and save some money you can get a skin from bestskinsever.com. 2.95 shipping in the US

I will never buy anything other than Skinomi protectors anymore. They are really easy to set properly and the protection is great. I've used them on 3 Android phones, all from different manufacturers and they work amazingly.
Never tried Zagg since I started using Skinomi first.

I have an extra skinomi screen protector, with the entire package. I can send it to you for free if you just pay for the shipping.
I don't really like the rubber feel that comes with skinomi/zagg protectors, although it offers probably the maximum amount of protection you can get with screen protectors
I can definitely vouch for skinomi. i've had it for my last two phones, and i don't think id get any other brand. one think that i didn't even realize i appreciated about their protectors after buying an alternate brand is that they make the screen look really nice. they don't take away or interfere with the color at all. very appreciated. got another brand of screen protector when i first got my gn, and its like it put a matte finish on my screen.
i do swear that next time, if i can find someone to put my screen protector on, i will pay them to do it. i am terrible at it apparently. i have tried ALL the tricks. steam.... steam... you name it.
there was a tiny tiny speck of dust that made a little bubble on the screen, and my skinomi was on a bit crooked and it kept creating bubbles in the corners where my case overlapped. it drove me insane, so i just took it off.
i go commando now. screen looks awesome BTW.
Hello everyone!
Ebay and the local stores have hardly any accessory for the samsung galaxy note. Even if there are stores that do deal in accessories for this device, I have not heard about them.
I thought this would be a perfect platform to discuss about accessories for the note and help map the stores for people who don't have much idea (like me).
Inviting ideas and opinions, please.

As for me, I have:
- a decent P250 screen protector (not bad for the price) | Glossy | Finger print magnet | they did not have the matte one
- sad and boring looking jelly-case (does the job though). | P250 as well | Some reviewer was taking about some Samsung original (flip top) covers, but it was hardly any info as I could not find where he got it from.
Tomorrow I will check out the zagg invisible shield store at SM Megamall (I guess there is one). And will hit back to the topic with the pricing and quality.

Accesories for Note
I bought a decent screen protector in Greenhills for Php150. First I look around, there were many of them selling the same screen protector but the cheapest I could find of the same brand was Php150. Sorry I forgot the name. Matte and gloss available. Just look and ask around in Theater Mall GH, not in ViraMall GH as it is more expensive there.
Also I was able to find a realook screen protector matte or gloss (take your pick) also somewhere in Theater Mall GH, it comes with 2 screen protector, cleaning cloth, alcohol something (I guess for cleaning) and its around Php600-800. Looks legit. She even gave me a calling card of the GM of the company of realook here in Phil. She tried to sell me only one piece of the shield that is already open for Php600. Good thing I read at the back of the package that it comes with 2 pcs of shields. I got it down as low as 500 and she still agreed to sell it to me. I didn't bite.
She said it will be available soon so I will be back there next time. I think the one she tried to sell me was only a sample.
For casing in GH, just jellys. Try looking in the internet, there are already a lot of cases available and with high quality. They ship in the Philippines. I am just not sure about the feel that is why I am still waiting for legit cases to be available here so I can try it out first before buying.
For the flip cover, if you buy directly from Samsung or from any legit stores, the cover comes with it. At the back of the package, it writes 'Not for sale.'
the note and the accessories for it should've arrived on the same date. its really hard to protect a big phone/tablet from scratches and all.
waiting for otterbox to arrive, its taking too long
I have seen otterbox for iphone, it looks good. I will wait and see if it becomes available here in Phil for the note. I hope it arrives soon. I have been using the free flip cover, its good but it offers no protection for the sides.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Had gone to megamall today... saw the flip cover from samsung at wellcom (guess that's the name of the store). But it was free with a purchase of a new note (P34990). They were not selling it separately though, which was sad.
The samsung mobile store was crowded as hell. Wanted to check out a store unit of the note and compare it to mine (for the screen issues), but I could not (other people checking the unit). Not a single sales person paid attention to what I needed (a flip cover). Was disappointed, but that's howsamsung operates around the world, I guess.
Zagg Invisible shield was also there. The sales people over there were too busy to notice my presence (though I am 6ft tall). Did not get to know if they had something for the note. But I did look at the price (if available). P1000 for the back part. P800 for the screen. And P1500 for the whole unit. Is kinda expensive, but hey, protection comes at a premium.

Yes! There was a store in the Technohub! Any news on the Flip Covers for the device? Any one selling it in loose?
I passed by Zagg in Megamall last Friday with my Galaxy Note. The lady said she didn't have any shields yet for the note... so, i opted for a screen protector which cost me 200 pesos (at BSA International) and a stupid looking blue jelly case.
In ebay, there are some really nice leather cases... especially those that are made in Korea. A bit pricey though... ranging from $35 to $75... shipping not included.

ebay casing nad screen protectors
Hey guys!
I have been checking in ebay philippines with Location filtered to Worldwide.
There are a lot of sellers selling decent casing for galaxy note. There is the Black S line Silicone TPU Skin Case Cover for less than PhP200, also there is the aluminum cover that looks sleek selling for PhP1,500. For screen protectors, I haven't gone back to GH to check on the realook screen protectors but I'm sure by next year they already have that. I was there late November and they already have it opened that's why I didn't buy it.
Also, ebay (filtered worldwide) is selling flip covers but it is really expensive with price at least PhP2,000.
Thanks!
I have only seen matte screen protectors around. They make the white of the screen look sparkly and as such would like a clear protector instead.
To those guys who bought the clear/glossy screen protectors, what store/mall did you buy them from and how much did you guys pay for them?
How is the quality as well? Does it affect the screen that much?
And to those who have bought matte screen protectors, have you had any matte screen protector that did not affect the whiteness of the screen (did not make is sparkly)?
Thanks.

Btw, for others asking about the case with NOT FOR SALE tag. I was able to buy one for P800 at Cyberzone SM Cubao. (Yes, I'm that silly. Lol!) Forgot the name of the shop but its just near the escalator, beside Tylex.
Got an original samsung flip case for the note at GH for 800php. This however still leaves the sides unprotected so I had to use a jelly case, only I cut the sides to accommodate the flip part. It doesn't look ugly as it sounds, and does the job until we get invisishield for the Note.

Hey guys! Sorry if I am in the wrong thread, but I think this is where all the Note users in Phil are posting.
Quick question: Were you able to activate your Globe 3g on your Note? Please share the APN settings. I am having trouble connecting to 3g. I am a Globe prepaid user and my sim card is I think 4 to 5 years old.
Many thanks!

I was in my local AT&T store today and picked up the official flip cover and the Moshi screen protector.
I am afraid to open because I haven't seen any feedback on this model yet? Anyone get one too? I have a Tru Protection AG on now so I am in no hurry to open.
PS - I picked up some TecTiles also... Will start playing around with those tomorrow.
No one?
I never heard of it
Its amazing, I have one on my Infuse 4g (also a samsung phone) just put it on.
It might be an AT&T store exclusive. Just curious how it fits with the curved glass...
I went ahead and installed... Really like so far and covers to edges. Better than the dry zagg and tru protection ag I tried...

It works great with my flip cover case... I have the incipio feather also but may send that back.
The candyshell I bought fits great with the ivisor so for now ill be using that combo. Good thing the ivisor is reuseable cause ill be taking it off when my replacement SGP screen shields come in and I can switch off between the candyshell and the bodyglove(which is a real nice case)
Is it a matte finish on the Moshi or are they completely clear like the SGP Ultra Clear ones? Thanks

I picked one up a few days ago at my local AT&T store. I like it so far. It is a matte finish but it doesnt affect clarity to bad.
I had one on my skyrocket. Made my screen look dull IMO
I found that it did dull the display a lot, much more so than other matte screen protectors I have used in the past. I plan on returning it as soon as I have a chance if AT&T allows it to be returned.
I would like to purchase a/some screen protectors.
It should be similar in feel to the glass that is factory.

2-do you prefer matte or clear?

4-are the edges laying down?
5-does it feel like glass?
6-wet or dry application?

Xtreme Guard is basically a ZAGG Invisible Shield clone. They just don't do the fancy packaging, spray bottle and squeegee. They don't have the over head and costs as ZAGG. They also don't have a lifetime warranty. But for the price, you can purchase 6 - 10 screen protectors for the same price of the ZAGG. You'll go through 2-3 tops and it's a annoying process to get a replacement. They request CC info and all, then expect you to send back the original.
I worked at Best Buy and had them on my phones since the LG Dare days.
Just save the money and get the Xtreme Guard. It offers the same protection.

Without a doubt, Skinomi. One of my favorite companies to deal with as well. Stellar products.
I've used the Flex HD but the orange peel effect is kind of annoying. The adhesive used, as it dries up, turns into a rainbow colored crystal blotches and it just ruins the clarity of the stock screen. They are not readily visible but tilting your phone at certain angles will make them show up. I also used the Zagg Invisible Shield but the adhesive did not work well for me after I put on the Cruzerlite case. The case, due to its tight fit, lifted all the corners of the Zagg off the phone:crying: so now its removed. For $20 from BB, you only get one film. I am waiting for the Steinheil Nano right now. I believe this a dry application and is cut smaller than the screen.

+1 for Best Buy. I always have them do it. I think it's an additional $8 but so worth it.

Definitely Ghost Armor!!! That's the ONLY brand I'll use! I can't stand the orange-peel look and rubbery feel that Zagg has. Ghost Armor looks and feels like a bare screen. I have Ghost Armor on my N7 FHD, Note 3, Note 2(front and back), Asus Infinity(front and back), and Evo LTE

argh double fail for me today - went to the Mall where Ghost Armor was supposed to be located but the kiosk was no where to be found.
Went to Best buy all they had was invisishield (non-matte). The BB employee showed me his and I could clearly see the bubbles and general poor quality...
Thanks for the suggestions though!
