Screen protector that doesn't get torn up? - Galaxy S III Accessories

Hi all,
I'm looking for a screen protector that doesn't have the edges torn up by generic TPU cases. I had a Skinomi screen protector which I always get and love, but unfortunately my TPU case doesn't agree with it. It's lifting the edges up and causing bubbles and it won't stay down along the sides. I've tried XO skins in the past and hated the look/feel, so those are out.
Thanks!

When I use screen protectors along with a case, I trim a millimeter or two off the screen pro first to avoid this.
Might want to put your case on then lay the protector on or as close to in as possible to see how much can be trimmed off

Diztronic and screen protector

Hey guys just received my matte black diztronic case from amazon! Love it. But like others here have mentioned the zagg HD screen protector doesn't play so nice with this case so I have 2 questions.
1) I am currently using the screen protector that came with the case and the edges don't seem to stay down. And tricks to getting them to lay flat?
2) Do you guys think its necessary to use a screen protector with this case and if so which ones would you guys recommend to use that would fit with this case?
I can post some pics of the case if anyone wants. Have the pebble blue gs3 but I think there's already been quite a few posted.

I don't have my diztronic case yet but maybe you can tuck the screen protector under the case lip?
I would definitely use a screen protector. I've already managed to scratch my screen somehow. Gorilla glass 2 is not scratch proof.

I purchased the Diztronic black matte case with screen protector also. How are your sides not staying down with that screen protector? The included screen protector is a protector that doesn't extend all the way to the edges. I had the same combination on my phone and I had no problems.
I'm now using the Body Glove tpu case with a Reearth screen protector. This combo has been the best so far. Be sure you don't use any wet application screen protectors with a tpu case. They do not play well together and the edges of the screen protector will start to bubble up as the tpu case edges push against the screen protector edges.
Also, most dry application screen protectors for this phone do not extend to the edge of the phone because the edges of the phone curve downward. So if you have a dry application screen protector that extends to the edge, then chances are you will have a problem with the edges staying down as a result of the downward curve of our phone around the edges. There is a company currently manufacturing dry application screen protectors designed to fit the the downward curve of our phones along the edges, however these are currently in pre order.

To be honest I'm not sure why its not staying down. I have bubbles that go to the edge of the screen on the top left and it appears that the whole right edge of the screen protector is not down. Not matter how much I push it down it comes right back up. And I have the protector centered almost perfect on the screen so it shouldn't be because its sloping down because the other side is doing fine so well.
Anyone have any other screen protectors that work with this case? Or even wet ones that don't get close to the edge?

My Clarivue screen protector works fine with the case. It is cut small though, I don't mind it but I know some people do.

[Q] XO Skins screen protector (which one to order)?

I really liked the SGP Flex, but it seems to be out of production.
I would like to order the XO but, what is the difference between the screen protector and the screen protector case fit?
I use a very cheap TPU cover.
From what I read the case fit protector is slightly smaller than the original because often times cases wrap around the edge a bit. I would just recommend getting the normal one, it fits fine with my SGP case. Also one thing you should note is the screen protector is trimmed a bit short on the bottom, it has no effect on anything other then appearance but it really bugs me to see it like that.
But overall its a 7/10 case, its trimmed a bit short and its really easy to mark up.

Thanks.
I used to put the SGP screen protector under the tpu skin on the edge, without problems.

Cases for Spigen Curved Glass Screen Protectors

I bought the Spigen Curved Glass screen protector, and I absolutely love the fit. I have zero bubbles anywhere on my screen and everything is laying flat. However, the case I have keeps making the sides of the screen protector come up. Here is the case I have now (which I freaking love):

Is there anyone else that has this screen protector and can recommend a case that doesn't make the sides of the protector come up?

I use the Spigen curved crystal screen protector also. Here are the cases that I have that work without peeling the edges up:
UAG
Element Eclipse
Spigen Modello - tpu

Thanks for your response! The UAG is nice, but too bulky. The Element Eclipse looks amazing, but I'll pay $65 for a case the same day I win a lottery. As for Spigen, I don't see a Modello for the SGS3, but I don't like any of their cases. I'd get a flip cover case, but the ones I've seen have no protection for the top or bottom of the phone.
I do very much appreciate your feedback, I'm just hoping for a case that I like and that works with this protector.
The Rock Quicksand has been great for me.

FYI, I decided to try the Seidio Surface case, thinking that if I could slide the case on it wouldn't be a problem. Fail. Totally pulls the sides of the protector up. Unless I can find a similar, minimalist case that will work with this screen protector, I'll have to just get a different protector.
A little old, but all the cases in on my crappy blog worked fine with the Curved Glass.
Including all metal bumpers.

General Inquiry About Screen Protectors

Just a question to those of you, I'm assuming most, who put a screen protector on your phone. I've been having troubles with the Nexus 5 screen protectors, specifically a matted protector from Ghost Armor, in which my common TPU case pushes up the corners of the protector rather severely.
I've put screen protectors on all my many phones and have never had such a problem, I'm assuming it has something to do with the Nexus 5's small bezel and how close both the case and the screen protector come out to the edges.
I'm just wondering if this is a common problem with any brand of screen protector and any case in general. Has anyone else had this happen?
I ordered a Spigen Neo Hybrid a couple days ago and plan to get my Ghost Armor reapplied, but now I'm wondering if there is a point to doing so if this will just happen again.
I don't have the ghost armor, but I have had both Spigen PET and glass screen protectors on the phone, and the Neo Hybrid case did not cause listing on either. The Spigen Slim Armor, and the Ringke Fusion also did not cause lifting of either screen protector. The Ballistic SG Maxx does not cause lifting of my glass screen protector, have not tried it with PET.

Thanks for the reply, I'm glad to hear that the Neo Hybrid didn't cause any lifting hopefully the same is with Ghost Armor. Side note, you mention having a glass screen protector is there any trouble fitting that with the Neo Hybrid? Not with the lifting, but like with how tight it is or something.

I find glass screen protectors much easier to get applied than traditional plastic ones. They go on easier (apply themselves) and have less air bubbles. I only ended up with one, and it was too late to re-apply the screen, so I just left it

When the case "hugs" the lip of the phone some what and the screen protector goes right to the edge this can happen. Ringke Fusion doesn't seem to "hug" much at all and I haven't read anyone having these issues with it.

Otterbox Defender. Anyone have it and remove the screen protector?

Just wondering if anyone has removed the built in screen protector? I bought it today and it looks like the usual junk they use. I am supposed to get my phone tomorrow so how does it work with it?
I always remove the BI Screen Protector...hate it !! I just use a tempered glass instead but love the protection from the case itself
Not sure why #otterbox is only restraining to releasing a Defender series case for this phone. Would love to go for a commuter series.

I am using a defender, popped out the screen protector cleaned up the residual glue that held it on and applied a tempered screen protector to the phone.
I do have issues with the edges peeling up the screen protector, so I filed the sharp lip of the case back a tiny bit so when it flexes it goes over the screen protector instead of lifting it up.
All is good, phone is massive and I don't think I will by physically breaking this phone anytime soon with it.
