Problems Answering Calls - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Does anyone else have trouble answering their Ion? It always take me several swipes before I get it answered.

Nope

The ıon is like a fine woman... You just have to give it the right touch!

I've been able to answer calls on the ion without any issues.

I find dragging a dead finger across the screen works wonders..
Idk how you swipe but slowly sliding ur finger is the best way to answer / unlock. The phone

Lockscreen Idea---

So I have an idea for a lockscreen but im not sure what to do with it... share it for a dev to find and possibly make? Or learn how to create it myself.. either way I havent a clue how to go about it... anyone have some advice?
can u share the idea i like to know
ok like a bunch of sliding blocks in from different directions that when you press and drag on them they can be slid away from screen.. and you "set the pattern" by choosing how many blocks and which blocks and in what order you have to swipe... so if someone for instance doesn't start on the correct block you can slide them around all day but it wont open... but if you swipe the correct say 3 in the correct order.. viola...
Instead of one constant motion like the pattern dots.. or a swipe lock screen.. you actually need 2 or more swipes...

No. That's degrading to his idea. He means more like playing the game "unblock me" from android market. But take that idea mixed with a lock-screen which i really like the OP's lock-screen idea.

Thanks.. sent'em an email.. see what happens..
Never responded... anyone else wanna take a stab at it.. or tell me how to go about making it myself?
I don't know how to code but the algorithm would be pretty simple
Assuming everyone starts with the same blocks in the same places
The specific combination of swipes would be needed to unlock the phone, dammit I can visualize this in my head but it's hard to put into words... I would also need to see what kind of layout u are specifically talking about, do u know how to code

Yes.. I have been doing some research.. Im going to go ahead and try to develop this myself.. I should have an alpha version soon hopefully some people can test it... Im gunna build it for ICS since thats what i have to work with on my Galaxy s2
Hey, this sounds like a great idea. You could potentially have a very complex and secure pattern

There are ALOT of forums discussing this issue, when you hang up do not hit the home button or back, let the phone return to the home screen on its own and this is the work around for this particular issue...

[Q] Capacitive button sensitivity

Anyway to increase the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons? I find myself pressing the back button multiple times sometimes.

if you were reading the forums simply swiping your finger over the capacitive buttons would drastically improve results.

Exactly, another redundant post on some thing covered numerous times already. Swipe from the line under the symbol to over the symbol. Works perfectly every time.

Have you updated to Ice cream sandwich? The reasons I ask is because I currently have a Gingerbread xperia Ion (wife's) and an Ice cream sandwich Ion (mine). Ever since the ICS update on mine, the capacitive buttons are more sensitive. There is a noticeable difference from when i use my wife's phone to mine.
I was using a friends iPhone and I kept trying to swipe the back buttons and I was so mad it wasn't there lol

One finger zoom.

How can you disable this function?
I just want to scroll and not zoom when I slide my finger up and down on the left side. I have looked every where for a setting to disable this annoyance..

I actually just noticed this when trying to highlight text in an email...I use chrome and it doesn't zoom with the one finger so I never noticed it, 2 weeks later and still learning about this phone lol
my guess is that you have one-handed operation on. If you take that off I bet it will stop zooming with one finger.
Still does it with one hand operation off.

Cool I can zoom with one finger. Love this feature now since I only scroll from the middle of the screen.
Still no disabling of this feature?
One Finger Zoom
It is a simple to use application to ZOOM on your images with a simple touch, while maintaining the resolution of your images. One tap to zoom and move in different areas of the picture! All the details, with the original resolution, are now at your (one) finger, one touch and there you go!
you can download it from Slideme Market
Spam ^^ . Dolphin beta doesn't have the slide zoom thankfully.
Still can't figure out how to stop the scrolling on edges....

[Q] Terrible lag when turning off the screen?

Has anyone else noticed that there a noticeable lag when turning off the screen? The slight fade out animation seems to stutter and there is about a 1-2 second delay from when i press the power button to it actually doing something. This is probably one of the weirdest places for a phone to lag.
Anyone else have this problem?
I'm running on stock rooted BTW.
EDIT (more info): This doesn't happen right after a factory reset. I takes a bit of time for it to happen which makes it seem like some app messing it up, but it happens even if there isn't anything installed besides the default stuff.

Could you link them? I looked in the Q&A section and didn't find anything. The search feature is currently down so I cant use that. If this is in fact a duplicate thread, then I'll get it closed up.
