(SOLVED) Jelly Bean 4.1.1. rollout stopped? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys & girls!
I'm pretty confused & the search function doesn't find any answer.. also with Google I don't find an answer...
Sorry if this question was asked before!
Could it be that Google stopped the rollout of Jelly Bean for yakju?
Once I had the update, it told me that it'll be availabe until the 15th of july with wi-fi... (why only with wifi?)
So... i screwed up my system and I didn't make a backup... so I had to use the 4.0.4 factory image...
Now I don't receive the OTA and remembered this 15th of July thing..
Does anyone know about this?
Had 4.1.1 a huge bug? (Didn't have one)
Thx for taking a look (;

You could just grab the update.

No, that message said wifi only until july 16th meaning after that date you can apply the update on a mobile connection.

First time i've heard of 4.1.1
4.1 isn't released yet, so i doubt 4.1.1 is in the making yet.

4.0.1 was the first official release of ICS. The source that was released today was given the version number 4.1.1.
4.1.1 was just pushed to AOSP last night, first build is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762875, have a play around and you tell us
it has actually

Actually it has. :good: It was released today as a AOSP build and you can build for the GNexus then.
Thanks Would be nice

Was a little late
here's the build from bigxie http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28535553&postcount=3058 it includes Google Now (Velvet.apk) since the AOSP does not have it and there's no proper GAAPS for 4.1.1 yet.
We should return to the OPs original question. What's new in 4.1.1? Is there a change log?
Yes can anyone provide a change log? As much as I love android.. I hate it when they do this :crying::crying::crying::crying:
i think for changelog we need to explore ourselves since it not not OTA yet. once we have OTA then i think most of the changelogs would be revealed. for now its try and tell. one thing i know from bigxie thread is that, the delay when opening apps are fixed.

We just had a leak for ICS. So if anything it will be ICS. And don't expect official jb for about 2-3 months after international gets it. At&t is really slow with it.

Here's a quick Youtube video of the new Galaxy S3 update that will trickle out eventually for US carriers. This should answer most of your questions. It's only available for International as of now:

[Q] Samsung galaxy nexus update to 4.3 and 5.0?

Do you think that the galaxy nexus will still be updated to android 4.3 and 5.0?
Definitely get 4.3 with gnex as its still jellybean an its not exactly a major update just a couple of tweaks here an there, why would they discontinue the jellybean updates with the gnex while we are already on jellybean that's just stupid as for android 5 i seriously doubt we will get it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
i think we will get 5.0 also since majority of the phones in the market are still on gb and ics and single core phones, ours is still dual core and i feel its got enough juice to run the future os versions
I think the nexus 4 and 7 will get the 5.0 update, for the galaxy nexus probably only 4.3 hopefully also 5.0
