Casemate POP Case Bulges? - Galaxy S III Accessories

Has anyone else that has this case noticed that the back bulges towards the middle on the back? It can be pressed down but bulges back out when you release. I can try to get some pictures of it when I get home from work tonight. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed this or if my case was defective.

Bump. Anyone? I'm thinking about returning it because of this.

Mine does that. Never noticed until you said so. Doesn't really bother me. It only flexes when I push it and I imagine the little flex in the case will help the phone in a drop

Does yours sit flat when you put it on a table or something? My bulges enough that the phone rocks and spins because it rests on the plastic instead of the grips.

Mine sits flat on the rubber sides. I've only had it 4 days though.
It a few more mm or fractions of a mm and it would rest on the plastic though.

FYI American Note battery doors don't work with N7000

I went to best buy and bought a book cover thinking it would work with my euro N7000 note... I was wrong. I did take a dremel to it and MADE it work! Lol! Just have to file off some of the little feet that clamp it on. Anyway, thought I might save some people the hassle.

Any pics on this or can anyone confirm that US battery cover does not fit the international Note?
What about the battery itself. That should work correct?

The batteries are the aame. I would like to know what needs to be done to make the covers work though.

Sorry guys... forgot about this. I took a dremel and sanded 5 or 6 of the little feet on the inside half off. If you lay both doors beside each other you can see they are identical except for samsung made 5 or 6 of the feet twice as big on the U.S. version... also, the NFC antenna area on the U.S. version has an area that's raised and that had to be sanded too as it made the door not sit tight against the back. All that being said, if you need "confirmation", go to best buy and buy one... you'll have your confirmation then.

I'd still love to see some pics. Can you post?

Yeah I have a Samsung white leather case that I got with the att version of the note which I no longer have. It don't fit my n7000. The case was free so not much to complain about but I have no use for it.

I want to paint this phone any help?

I really want to paint the screen bezel and battery covrr of this phone.Completly debrand the back I was thinging of painting it either white or chroming the bezel andback plate and just deal with polishing it every day (although I'm not sure how well the chrome will bend when removing the back plate) so any suggestions shud I or shouldn't I. how should I go about painting it.

Bro... skinit.com ? Why go through all that hassle rather than stick a decal on it? Cmon work smarter not harder.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
I think painting it would be cool, as long as you put a nice finish on it to keep it from scratching off.
I'd paint mine a chrome color.

Stickers peel when taken care of paint can last forever.

Yeah I figured out the solution for the back cover it wud probably have to be powder coated to allow the "color" to bend with the plastic.

You can't powder coat plastic

That's cool. I've been thinking about plasti-dipping my back cover. Stuff is great. It's durable yet peels right off if done right. People use it on there cars all the time. I did my hood with it

Great stuff, but do NOT use it on your phone back, it will cause a mess.
I use it all the time to cover my spark plug cables on my Jet Ski, and while it does coat everything with rubber, it is NOT a smooth/polished finish.
I think I might even alumacoat the bezel or even ceramicoat (If I can find someone who still does it)

Let me know how bulky that ends up being. Or if it adds a decent lip to the front of the phone. I was looking at some of the other Tridea models as well, but I want something that will keep the face of the phone off of the desk if I have it upside down.

I will and il do a review...
Its one of the main reasons i got it for too
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
My reasoning for staying away from either of the 2 tridea bumper cases is that the back is so exposed it looks like the camera lens would touch the surface of whatever you lay it on and get scratched

How is the back glass held on?

I know it's a random question, but I've been wondering since I got the phone. Is it an adhesive?

it's part of the phone case.

Any good armband cases?

Go to any Decathlon store: they have plenty of colors , generic armbands.
I know you said armband but you should check out flipbelt.com I was looking for an armband til I found this. You forget its on, nothing moves around and can just cover with your shirt. Its really thin too.

I use it for running and I've never had to flip it either. Its pretty secure without doing it since its stretchy material. Good thing about it is you can stuff things anywhere so phone up front and keys a safe distance away.
