java.lang.nullpointerexception error - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi guys! Anyone experiencing this pop-up error on JellyBean? I think is not related to any app, seems a system error. However this doesn't cause any crash, it's just annoying to see this popup error every 30 minutes on a flaming new JB-powered galaxy nexus!

It's an app error. One of your Java apps isn't coded properly. The fact that your phone doesn't crash proves it. Go install one of the Logcat readers and find out which process is generating it.

A hard reset has fixed my issue!

[Q] Problem with XDA Premium ?

Do you have any problem with the XDA Premium app?
In this GN Q & A forum, I cannot pass two pages. For some unknown reason, it does not continue loading the next pages ... Just stop there.
There is no problem with the GN General forum though, I can scroll and load and load pages after pages ...
Note that I dont use force hw acceleration option.
Thanks
Loading just fine for me.

Strange, only with this Q&A forum I cannot scroll through all the thread pages, no loading.
I tried to clean the cache, the data, no luck.
I tried to scroll slow, fast, refresh, same issue.
I tried to change themes, same issue ...
This sucks ...
I tested the Free version and there is no problem! Because with free version, I can press the button to load more pages. While the Premium version try to load it automatically, and it does not work that well.
I used to use the Free version, until I got Galaxy Nexus. bought the Premium, thinking to remove ads and donate something to XDA. Damn ...
I have the problem too. Restarting app helps sometimes.

some problem here atm.
Going to unisntall and reinstall trying to see if it fix the problem.
Uninstalling both the free version and this rebooting the phone and reinstalling seems to have solved the issue to me.

Way too broad of an exception for any useful information. If it's an unhandled exception, though, it's the app developer's problem to fix.
If you try to report the error, click the Preview button instead of send, and check the Stack Trace. That would tell you the line in code where it's occuring, but unless it's open source, that isn't going to help you.
Thanks.....

[Q] Can't post on Facebook

Anyone having an issue with Facebook and trying to make a post or update their status? I've tried numerous times and it keeps saying "Can't update status at this time". Very weird :S Obviously, the mobile site works perfectly, but it lacks spell check unfortunately.
works fine here.
Also, I used to have that problem w/ browser.. but I get spellcheck again. Using SwiftKey X
No problems here.. try going into settings>apps>downloads and wipe the cache/data for facebook. If that doesn't work try a fresh install.

The most obvious question here when receiving this message are you verifying that you have a data connection? Does the issue persist on both wifi and 3g?
Do you mean that you can make posts on other peoples statuses but not post your own? If so are you still receiving the same error message?
What happens when you try to share content from an app (e.g browser)?
What happens when you try and make a post on g+?

I tried both on WiFi and 3G. I can't make status updates but I can comment on other statuses. I can also make G+ posts.

I take it no one knows what I can do? I've heard the GNex is having a few issues with Facebook because FB isn't using the latest APK. Anyone else have any suggestions?

News and weather app connection issue

Hi...from the last 2 days I have a connection issue on my google's news and weather app. Everytime time I launch the app a message appear on the bottom of the screen.
"Si è verificato un errore di rete. Riprova più tardi", in english something like "There was a network error. Please try again later".
Just tried to delete app data and cache, issue still there.
Any idea?
Thanks!

It says "couldn't connect. Try again later"
Got this too, it's an old problem that google guys didn't take a look at. From time to time the news and weather app acts like this, give it time and it will refresh by itself.

Try deleting your Google account and then log back in and reboot. See if that fixes it. I've seen this error many times but only on a few apps

You don't necessarily have to delete your Google account. You can try clearing data under manage applications. For some (myself included) that did not work. I actually had to reboot into CWM and Fix permissions. I then rebooted system and viola, all was well.
If you search on the forums for that exact error message, a thread should come up with the above suggestions and a few others.
Hooey this helps.
