Hello, i need help - please give me solution to fix Soma font for Arc S Thank u!!!
I always use an app to change fonts as just copy and pasting over the originals has given me issues in the past, so if that's what you did, try reinstalling them. What I use - Font Changer

Probably the font that's at fault then. Choose something else.

Hello,
I wanted to try out new fonts for my arc so I installed 'Font Installer' and tried several fonts.
But I forgot to take backup of original fonts. I found DroidSans font somewhere and tried applying but now in notifications and applications screen no text can be seen. Can someone please post the fonts from '/system/fonts' folder ?
Thanks in advance
Just remove the application it will restore your font to original.

Search for DroidSans, there are plenty of sources to download them from.

Hello guys.
I already searched the web and xda and can't find a thread which explains how to change them.
I want to change the color and maybe the style of my status bar icons.i read about different methods.
I don't really want to use a different rom, with go launcher ex i've got everything perfect except the status bar icons.
I read that the icons arw saved in framework-res.apk. but i can't find any sets of these file to change it out.
I have a stock rooted s2 with android 2.3.6
Thanks for your help

Go to you SystemUi.apk (in system/app folder), copy it to your PC.
Open it with rar or with zip7.
You will get acess to the res/drawable-hdpi folder.
Unrar or unzip this folder to your desktop. In it are all the icons that you wanna change... change them as you like... Put the folder back on the apk using the same rar or zip7.
Now - finally - you will have to resign the apk again (search how, 1st time it´s hard to get it right).
Push it back to the phone, backup the original as systemui.bak, and write this one over it.
Install it, reboot.... enjoy
Thanks me 10x if I helped .

Which line?
Edit:
I meant to ask if you tried UOT kitchen??
http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
Its easy to use but if you get stuck just ask.
Even simpler, use the theme kitchen.
http://uot.dakra.lt/
You can even use it for odexed (stock) roms.
Thank you guys.
I will try the online tool.
I would like to press the thanks button but can't find the thanks button in the app and even in browser

Thank you anyway dude
There is actually an app called NinjaMorph that you can get from the play store, its what I used for my S2 to changed some icons and you can do it all on your phone, the app will unzip then zip the apk automatically, all you have to do is pick the PNG your replacing the old one with, make sure you got the new PNG in your phones SD card that's all.

is there a way to change other icons? like wifi, data etc.. i have xposed. but i can only change battery icons with it.
i want to change stock font
but i just want to be sure if
it is safe to use fontomizer
on my SGY?
im running 2.3.6 stock rom (DXKK4)
it would be a great help, tia.
Yap. Ive used it but if you want the manual way but better. Coz doing it manually lets you install a font u really want unlike fontomizer it just have presets

i'd prefer font changer if your phone is rooted, its more customizable
yes.. and i love ubuntu font. try it.
Use "Custom android font switcher", works like a charm.
What more, it has no bugs like fonts slightly placed higher than its supposed to be. It is the only app i came across (pardon me, I'm not a pro in this topic, just my experience) which replacess each and erey font in your phone, even the keyboard fonts will be changed.
thanks for the advice guys,
ill try one.. ayos!
i used font installer by jrummy and fontomizer several times... so far they are safe and worked
font installer needs root tho
Some wont work on custom roms
HERE's a SMALL GUIDE FOR CHANGING FONTS MANUALLY - ROOTED
1. download the font you want. (*.ttf)
2. make 3 copies of that font.
3. rename them by the ff:
DroidSans.ttf
DroidSans-Bold.ttf
Clockopia.ttf
4. Go to system/font and replace the fonts namely the ones stated above
**i mean delete the old fonts named DroidSans.ttf, DroidSans-Bold.ttf, Clockopia.ttf annd replace them with the one you renamed.
5. reboot. and VOILA

Fontomizer works great on my SGY... However, I have read some posts that "Font Changer" app would cause your phone to go on a boot loop.
I recomend Custom android font changer from market

I 'think' you can install Simple Text onto your phone and place the Font File into the Simple Text folder on your phone and use that way, never done it myself.
---EDIT---
Yes you can, Put your fonts into /sdcard/Simple Text/fonts ( only supports TTF format ).

I'm not 100% on that, possibly.
I have Simple Text installed but don't use it much.
I use rom toolbox to do this and it works also, but If you replace other roboto fonts besides the regular robato font you will freeze on boot. The fonts need to be made for bold, Italic, and Italic bold. I am using romance fatal serif, and this is what my isuue is anyway.

so I cant move any games to system/app...
Is there any other way to change the icons..
There is a thread in the general section by jader13245 about changing icons.
I will paraphrase what iridaki put on that thread:
To change icons of a non-system/downloaded app you must decompile and resign it, otherwise it will FC.
