Hi,
I am from Turkey and my new GNex was Android 4.0.2. By using ODIN, I updated it to 4.0.4 and turned yakjujt into yakju. After a search, I realize that the ID of Galaxy Nexus (4.0.4) should be IMM76I but mine is IMM76D. And because I used the ODIN, my phone is unlocked (bootloader issue i think, i dont know that things exactly) now.
Will I get the Jelly Bean update with this situation? Sorry for my bad English. I hope you get my problem and help me to find a solution if there's something wrong.
Thanks a lot.
I have the same build number and wondering the same question because i have not got any update after 4.0.4
Look at the "update" link in my signature and grab the two updates you need:
Yakju IMM76I-from-IMM76D and
Yakju JRO03C-from-IMM76I
and follow the instructions.

AFAIK 4.0.3 isnt officially released yet for the SGN. unlock your bootloader, install CWM and head over the dev section to get a 4.0.3 rom.
4.0.3 is a nexus s ota build.

4.0.3 is halted to fix bugs.
Alternatively you have many choices,
1. Get 4.0.2 by fastboot flashing the 4.0.2 stock images
2. Flash a custom ROM featuring 4.0.3 (AOKP, bigxie)
Hii everyone,
I had a couple of questions with regards to OTA google updates for android. For one thing, is I updated my Galaxy nexus GSM phone manually using MULTIPLE sources with hopes of the OTA update and I keep refreshing the update and it says no updates available. So now I decided to do it manually again, and I keep reading about having to put everything back to normal in-order for the update to work.
Can someone please enlighten me on how I can turn back the clock and put the stock radio and bootloader, so I can manually update to 4.0.4. Also how I can save my current phone setting, as far as widgets, contacts and ringtones are concerned, so I can have them back when I update.
Or should I just not bother with anything and that the OTA will eventually arrive?
The ota leak 4.0.4 is for the LTE version (Verizon only) not for the GSM

Omg please read before you brick your phone. The leaked 4.0.4 OTA is for the CDMA version and cannot be applied to the GSM model!

THANKS GUYS!!!
But look in the Dev section, there is a ROM from MoDaCo... it is a built from the 4.0.4 leak... but for GSM nexus works great...

Though it doesn't include all of 4.0.4, just the parts that are applicable to both machines. If you're on GSM I think its one of the only ways to go right now.

I'm used to flashing my old Samsung phones through Odin, so I'm really confused and looking for a simple way to convert my yakjujp 4.0.4 to yakju.
The firmware is:
4.0.4
Baseband version: I9250XXLA2
Build number: IMM76K.I9250JPLE1
I hope to find a simple and easy way to do so. Thanks in advance!

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Which image suits my device firmware? I must flash the 4.0.4 yakju and wait for the 4.1.1 OTA or directly the 4.1.1? Effete do I find the appropriate Google image and which build?

You could flash either one.. if you flash the 4.0.4, the update will come within minutes after being installed

no. just no.
convert to yakju correctly and use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895
The extra 3 minutes it takes to manually enter commands will be more beneficial to you then using a toolkit.

I don't mind spending three hours converting it the right way but I don't know how. I need a detailed guide through it all and I'll stick to it. Thanks in advance!

The guide linked above is the most detailed guide and is extremely easy to follow. I suggest reading through all the steps at least once that way you'll be more prepared when you actually do the flashing.

First I need to know one thing, do I have to choose between different Google builds? If so, which build is suitable for my phone?
Another question; after flashing, will I be on an official stock ROM or is it a custom ROM or altered in any way? I need to be on the official unaltered yakju stock ROM. Is that the case?
Sorry for the noob questions but I never did this process and worried a bit.
Thanks in advance!

You can pick either yakju or takju if you have a GSM devices. It doesn't matter. takju is just yakju+Wallet+Offers. Based on the last update takju got updated before yakju, although we are only talking a matter of hours here...
If you follow the guide in the link posted, you will be on a completely stock yakju or takju ROM.
Wallet and offers are not valid in my country anyway, so yakju is the one for me. Thanks!

My phone is GSM.
Another silly question, I should understand that there's only one yakju build and not many to choose of depending on the original firmware build?

Sorry again but now I'm confused; there are different choices for a yakju as follows
yakju JRO03C from IMM76I
yakju IMM76I from IMM76D
yakju IMM76I from ICL53F
yakju IMM76D from ICL53F
yakju ICL53F from ITL41F
yakju ICL53F from ITL41D
yakju ITL41F from ITL41D
My firmware version is:
yakjujp
4.0.4
Baseband version: I9250XXLA2
Build number: IMM76K.I9250JPLE1
My build is not listed there, but there are two similar builds "JRO03C from IMM76I" and "IMM76I from IMM76D", so which one should I use for my firmware upgrade/flash? I'm sorry again for the basic silly questions, and much obliged!

You are looking at the wrong thread. That is the "update" thread you are looking at. There is no Jelly Bean update for yakjujp (which you have). You need to flash a brand new build (not update your current build). Instructions, which Zepius already posted, are here.
At the page you are referring to it says to download the required files to the computer and link to these builds
"3) Download the version of Android you want from here. So, let's say you want the yakju JRO03C image, go to the JRO03C link that is under the heading Factory Images "yakju" for Galaxy Nexus "maguro" (GSM/HSPA+). Older versions are no longer available on that site; however, oldblue910 has provided a mirror on his site: Random Phantasmagoria."
The other method of flashing from a zip file is for takju, is it possible for yakju? Which file I should use then to flash yakju 4.1.1 to my device? Thanks!
efrant
I feel absolutely stupid for opening the wrong link and going on asking further questions. I found the factory images -downloading now- and shall follow your guide. Apologies again!
Final questions -apologies!
My phone is an unlocked GSM phone, I did not buy it from a carrier and can use any SIM card with it, do I have to do the "Unlock your bootloader" or not?
Commands like "Reboot" (ex: fastboot reboot-bootloader) the reboot is actually done automatically, not by me using the power button, correct?
Did Yakjujp build got jelly bean update?
Because i want to return to that build

As far as I know everyone has JB now.
Most of the obscure Samsung builds have started to get Jelly Bean.
You really should just go ahead and switch to takju so you'll get future updates though.
But i need a sure answer ..if YAkjujp build got the jelly bean update .. because I am worry about the warranty
Thanks

If anyone has, no one here on XDA has mentioned it. I try to update this stickied thread as soon as I see someone mention getting the update.
Hi
I had yakjujp and there was no update as of 02-Oct. Then I followed efrant's post to convert yakjujp to yakju and within one hour I got the JB update.

Well I am asking about that build because I want to use it again because the warranty .. if that build got jelly bean .. I am going to flash it again
Hey Guys I'm New To All This Rooting And Mod Stuff. My Device Is Currently Running JB 4.1.1 YAKJUXW, I Still Didn't Get The 4.1.2 OTA Or 4.2 OTA. I'm Planning To Upgrade My Device To 4.2 Manually From The YAKJU ROM Available In The Google Developers Site. Can Somebody Help Me In Doing This.
Thanks In Advance.

There's a guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25477039
Its not rooting or modding. What you are doing is returning it to stock condition. My preference is to use Linux as no drivers are required - you can simply download one file from the developer page, extract and flash.
when will yakjuxw receive 4.2 update officially?

Your guess is as good as everyone else's on that. It's Samsung who pushes out the updates for the regional yakju variants and they don't announce when.

Thats exactly what I've done! Google for yakjuxv to yakju there are several ways...
DL the nexus root toolkit there is even a tutorial inside the program for how installing the right drivers. For me the third manual way was the only one working.I actually changed the yakjuxv to takju and (4.1.1 to 4.1.2) and then got the 4.2 update OTA.

And what did you use for upgrading only to 4.1.2 takju? i think this method is best, since you get 4.2 OTA meaning you aint using a fake version for the galaxy nexus
Thanks
