My Jelly Bean dilemma - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

So I got my Jelly Bean OTA and start to use the phone normally (before I flashed the Google I/O build and used it in the waiting status for official one) and have discovered that Google has put me into dilemma which I didn't care about before. It is because of the new Interactive notification system in Jelly Bean. I like it so much as I can response to notifications much faster. However, I am also used to Notification toggles and have discovered that with Notification toggle I must sacrifice the interactive notification and vice versa as Notification toggle is always on the top of the notification list...Do any of you know about any solution to have both??? Thanks in advance...

Your only two options as far as I can see is 1) Wait for a (possible) workaround from the developer of the toggles or 2) root the device and install a custom rom which will have the toggles built in to the actual notification bar, not as a 'notification'
Edit: You can still expand other notifications with a two finger swipe down gesture, it just wont be open by default when you pull down the notification bar.

Combine all ongoing notification

I don't know if this is possible, but i think it would be awesome to have an option to hide the icons for on going notifications from the top notification bar. It would keep it in the pull down though. If it could force all the ongoing notifications to the bottom it would be even better.
I hope this made sense to you guys.....I think it would be awesome to include in the cyanogen options menu (if it were in cyanogen mod, which I hope someday it will be).

I agree!
I want a way to hide ongoing notifications but NOT disable them (Tasker, Juice Defender, Llama). OR, I would LOVE to be able to still have access to them. For example, Power Toggles allows us to put almost anything as a toggle in the notification pane. Custom images etc.
Can we just use this method to combine the ongoing notifications? This way they are still active, we can still see them, but they are not taking up valuable space. Alternatively, let's push them to the bottom!

Widgetsoid updated, LED flashlight fixed

The LED flashlight works now, but an unwanted side effect is that the screen turns completely white and brightness goes to 100%. The dev doesn't know of another way to activate the LED. Also no LTE toggle still.
Hopefully the devs here can shed some light?
Team BAMF released a working 4G LTE Toggle a little while ago
http://www.teambamf.net/f52/[lte][tasker]-bamf-lte-widget-v0-4-[01-12-2012]-3676/
But I'm unsure about the LED toggle situation, I use search light which is open source so if you're adventurous you can see how he does it then talk to the developer
Are they currently working on getting ICS icons?

I wonder if Team BAMF would release their source...
The reboot option was working on widgetsoid after the last update, but the most recent update seems to have killed the reboot option for me... I emailed the dev about it.
I wish there was an LTE toggle that worked on the stock rom...
That's so weird that he cant' get the LED to light by itself...
Does anyone know how to get the toggles that give you a menu to auto-close the notification windows? I like the reboot toggle with the choices (reboot, recovery, etc). Currently, it opens that window behind the notification window unless I'm missing a setting. It'd be nice to not have to close the notification window before being able to see the choice.
I tried Notification Toggle and it closed the notification windows when needed (such as custom brightness control). It doesn't have any many working toggles though.

[Q] Status bar behavior, AOKP 4.2.1

Hi,
when i pull down the status bar in AOKP MR1 (4.2.1) i see the quick settings panel if there are no notifications active, and not, as in stock 4.2, the notification drawer(or panel, don't know how to call it).
I'd like to have the stock behavior, so that i can pull down the status bar and ALWAYS see the notification drawer. Is it possible with a simple method? I tried looking in the settings but didn't find any option for this.
Thank you.

You will have to post this on the developers thread. You will not find an answer here most likely. I hope they can help you there!
go in rom control or status bar toggles and make sure you have some toggles enabled then they should show up, hope this helps

Thank you, but the point is I just want the status bar to show me either the notification panel OR the toggles panel when i pull it down (i'd rather to have always the notification panel). It's a bit confusing that you don't know what's going to be shown when you pull it down..

Eh, even though I'm quite flashaholic and spend a lot of time reading on xda, i seldomly post, and unfortunately i still have to reach the 10 posts limit to be able to post in dev threads.
On the other hand, I'm the living proof that xda search button actually works

10th post! yay! :victory:
You should try nova launcher. You can set it to open the taskbar when you swipe down on the home screen.

[Root] - How to remove Navigation and Status bars?

Hi y'all,
I want to remove navigation bar and status bar completely.... even when keyboard is in use. Is there a way to do it? (I do want them to show up when I swipe up/down navigation bar and status bar respectively).
I was looking at https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/themes/mod-navbar-gone-root-t3704916 Does this achieve what I want to do with 8.1 January Update on P2? I want to avoid installing apps as much as possible.
Thank you

My method removes Navbar completely. No swiping is going to get it back. You want immersive mode I would think.
Hey, thanks for the info. How do I take the back/home/recently opened apps actions in this case? Also, does it remove status bar too or is it just for navigation bar?

If you remove Navbar completely you need LMT or something similar to replace it. It is for Navbar only. Immersive mode can be used with either or both statusbar and Navbar.
Thanks. Yea, I think I'll try immersive mode and see if it works for both and can use swipe up/down to temporarily bring it back. Looking at https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guide-hide-navigation-bar-status-bar-app-t3509747 Let's see.

That's what I did and am using now. I think it's awesome. But I think, not sure, it might have given me issues with unlocking my screen every once in a while when it goes into sleep. I say I think, cuz I'm not willing to give up immersive mode for a reboot or now as I've found bringing up camera to wake up every now and then. So just be on the look out. Thought it might be Ex kernel also I did both around same time.

Question Top notification is not expending automatically - Samsung A52s - OneUI 5.0 - Android 13

It is as simple as the title says.
When I swipe down to see al my notifications the one at the top doesn't expend automatically like on every other android device or ROM I ever used.
(This phone has the stock ROM, no bootloader, no root)
I used "universal android de-bloater" (uad gui) to remove some crap, mostly Samsung and Knox stuff, but I didn't remove anything that wasn't in the recommended list, or didn't have a clear description.
Is this a known issue? Or did I do something wrong?

Doesn't work. That just shows me more buttons and a clock. That's not what I want. I want the notification at the top of the list to show in the expanded mode.
That's just how OneUI is set by default
