I noticed that in the stock email clients on the GS3 and HTC One X that when you received an email with a meeting request you could select your response: Accept, Tentative, Decline, but then instead of sending the response, you had the option to send a response, edit before sending a response, or don't send a response, similar to what you can do in Outlook.
I'm not too fond of the stock email client on the GS3 because the font is so large and there is no option to change it.
Has anyone seen a AOSP version of the mail APK that has this meeting invite functionality built in with the response prompts?
Thanks!

I would like to know this as well. I hate the meeting request option on this phone. Hope someone releases the stock ICS version of the mail client itself.

Hi,
Anyone know if HTC fixed the Can't copy text from a received email on the Desire?
I really need to be able to copy snail mail adresses or signatures from my received emails, so please (double/triple-) check before you answer...
Thanks!

You can't copy from the body of an email in the Gmail app, you can in the HTC Mail app.
Okay, thanks! I'll be using the HTC Mailclients anyways so that's great news.
Hi
I use my rooted Epic 4G with my work Exchange account. Every time I send a message, it looks like an HTML bomb hit it: when you look at the message using Outlook it is full of HTML <br> characters, and the details of the message that I replied to are mixed into my signature.
Can anyone recommend an alternative e-mail app for the Epic 4G that still works with Exchange push e-mail and contacts, or perhaps a setting I can change in the normal e-mail app that will solve the problem?
My e-mail program is version 2.2.1 (from the wonderful ACS 1.1.0 ROM).

I have 2.3.4.1 from midNight ROM v5.2. Attached here. Try that one and see how it works for you.
Thanks, I will try that. Backup first
The Email app should support HTML email just fine - your Exchange server might be poorly configured. Give K9 Mail a try.
I added xda-developers.com to my white list but I am still not be notified of replies (I do have Instant email notification enabled).
Is there another domain name I should add so that I can receive the notifications? Thank you!

Any instant notifications should come from webmaster (at) xda-developers.com
Have you told it to send one for PMs, or subscribed threads?
Yes I have add that function as well. My memory is not that great so I do rely on these emails.
The other interesting issue is that I do not get replies from the androidforums. I checked, and it seems you might use Google to the email relay? Do you know if an SPF record is in there? Otherwise, my hosting company might be able to overright the spam settings

It might be better off if you post this in this thread because even though it's not exactly the same, it could be linked plus admins have posted in that thread so they'll see this easier.

Well in your profile there is "send pm" and "send mail" huh
So they didn't get your email adress, just a reply Form I guess.
Edit : hum seems that changed a bit. I was sure there was send mail option once. But still it displays your email adress.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

I tried using email and exchange apk from default CM10 ROM but cannot install exchange apk. I can only install email apk. But I need Exchange.
Can someone pls help me. Thanks,
