Screen Protector on sale

I have used the screen protector from "www.ClearProtector.com" for many years and its not the cheap plastic ones you would normally get it made from some sort of rubber/plastic and they guarantee it for life. "Free" Stealth Guard Full Body Cover (Only pay S&H)

I saw a thread in the marketplace section of the forum for free Stealth Guard body covers. So I checked out the Stealth Guard website and they are indeed selling free body covers (you only pay the shipping) I picked one up for my Captivate and paid only $2.89!

It is not really free - it is $2.85 with free shipping. A second set is $2. This will cost them $0.49 to ship in US via first class mail.
If you want to cover your phone in clear vinyl, it is probably a decent product - as good as the others, but no special deal is coming anyones way.

Seems like a great deal to me for that price.

Meh... I have never been a fan of the full body clear protection because the corners (what'll get done in the most) are still left open.

That's what I'm thinking... A full body cover for less than $3? That's a steal to me, especially since skins like Zagg cost around $20.
The thread in the marketplace about this offer seems to be gone now, but I read success stories of people buying four for about $11 and some change and I haven't really heard anything negative about these covers (I've heard the occasional THESES SUCK but like 1% of the time). I might pick up a few more.
The only bad thing i've read, now that i think about it, is that it doesn't come with any solution to spray on

I just ordered 2 for $4.85 shipped.
I like skins because you can put them on the phone underneath a snap-on cover and it protects the phone from the stuff that gets inside the cover and scratches the device.

Just ordered mine. I read that the screen protector (which is all I'll be using) is high quality and has a smooth glide to it. Thanks for the post!

So i've been reading around about these Stealth Guard shields and I have found quite a few more 'these are crap' posts. From what I've read, as a body case don't expect much, but as a screen cover, it's awesome.
When I get mine I'll post a review of what I think of it as a screen protector.

I bought a set for my Wife's iPhone before they were available for the Captivate. It's okay on the iPhone, it didn't fit very well, but for $3 it's worth it. I also bought one for my neighbors Droid. No word on if he installed it yet.

Ordered a couple of these as well. I'm currently using a skinomi screen protector, and I don't think I'm taking it off. But I wanted to check out the rest of the cover. For the price dont' think I can really go wrong.

Too bad I hate Zagg stuff. Their screen protectors feel sticky and look funny when on.

So why even read the thread? Just wondering. To each there own though. If you don't like Zagg don't buy it, for those that do, this is a great deal. You actually can't even tell that the screen protector is there if you put it on right and wait about a day or 2 for all the imperfections to work themselves out.

Nice update. I received the email that this was extended too. You beat me too it though.

I ordered a shield and I was told that I could have it installed professionally at no charge at a mall near my home. They even gave me the addy of the place.

I picked up a Zagg shield for only 9.99 the family edition xooms was 29.99. While zagg may not be the greatest protector out there 10 bucks is still a great deal.

Well I got my screen protector today and its the family edition one. Lame.... I know the OP stats its the family edition but the link i post doesn't say it.
The only think it says is Model: GBMOTXOOMFAM10S. But whatever it was just $5.

Got mine at Best Buy Mobile store for $11.99 from $29.99! IMO Zagg is the best for screen protectors. Its on every device in my house!

ordered mine from best buy for $10 earlier this week, still waiting on it to be delivered.

you guys know if there are any out there for a cheap price? i can't find them for less than 29 from zagg.com

I travel the bestbuy site but does not have any zagg for xoom under $29.9. You can prefer link to it?

they're down to $8.99 now..just grabbed 2...same for the TF300...unless they were mis-placed...but the tf201's were $8.99ea...

After reading about these I thought I'd try one out on my xoom. For me, it was a BIG mistake. I found it, unnecessarily hard to apply and it had a gummy, orange peel surface that I could not get used to. As far as screen protection goes, I don't doubt that these things do a fine job of that. The feel just ain't to my liking. Money wasted. Perhaps if they made this in their new HD material it would be closer to what I like.

I have a hard time believing the ball made gorilla glass crack like that after seeing this video(3:15). Anyway, I don't think its worth spending $30 on it considering the insanely cheaper options such as Xtremeguard/BSE and etc.

Actually im a backer of their project @ kickstarter.. I dont know if they are accepting orders now because they are sending batch 2 of their protectors to their backers.
