Dumb question: Apollo music player - G2 and Desire Z Themes and Apps

Hi guys,
I recently installes CyanogenMod9 and it comes with the Apollo music player.
When jogging, I use the cellphone as mp3-player.
Unfortunately, my cellphone is shaked quite a lot in my trousers. So, the player always changes tracks, stops, pauses, resumes and so on...
How can I disable the shake reaction in apollo or somewhere else?
If I goto settings, there is only the possibility to change the skin...
Thanks quite a lot

Try another music player.

What do you want to say me with your quote? I don't understand.
There must be an option to disable the shake features?!
Any idea?

Try this: Google Play > search ''music player'' > select the one you like and install.

They had an old version that I liked a lot better than Apollo. It included the feature your talking about, you were allowed to turn it off.
Unfortunately the old version is highly unstable.
I don't blame you either, I like to try and stick stock.

Music using the Accelometer

Remember back in the days.
Shaking ur phone the the right is next song, shaking to the left is prevoius song.
Is there a WM music player who still uses the accelometer?
Or a special app or something??

Huh, mine doesn't do that. How can I set it up. Next would do the trick for me.
You have to alter a registry key. The details are in the first page of the S2P thread.

Music player that changes song by shaking?

IS there an app out there that does this? I think it would be a cool thing to do.
Wouldn't it change while it's in your pocket though!!!
Think I did hear of something like this a while back...
I was thinking more of use when im at work, so the phone doesnt move.
Saves having to turn the backlight on to change track really.
Plus it would be a show off app too.
I think u can do that trick with slide 2 play. U have to change some value's first.
hi
nitrogen in the new version do that
Check out G-trigger, that should do it

good, thx
tested:
settings-about phone now works
Daemon app deleted, control your CPU from Cyanogenmod's Settings
further testing:
home button doesn't work (keep pressing back to return home) dunno why.
bluetooth and wifi work.
launcher have nothing, you'll have to add everything yourself. by default, it's a black screen, press menu-applications to see your apps (best performance)\
can anyone confirm those in the the first build?
will upload ASAP

Things you don't like in GS4

Well lets duscuss.
Personally I do not like that using NOVA launcher instead of Touchwiz doesn't allow to get transparent status bar.
It could be NOVA issue, but developer responded me that "Unfortunately the status bar is a function of the system software/rom and cannot be changed by a launcher"
BTW stock Touchwiz has awesome transparent status bar.
Also I do not like new Settings organization in groups. Before if was much more convenient.
I dont like too.

the transparent status bar is coded in a way that it's part of the SecLauncher. this is the same for the wallpapers. if you use a non-stock wallpaper, it won't be transparent up there even if you are using the stock TW Launcher SecLauncher. my first mod for the phone will be with the SecLauncher to improve it so more will like using it. later i will just mod the SysUI for those that want a transparent status bar while using a 3rd party launcher.
in regards to Settings grouping, there may be a firmware update later that will allow you to change it back to non-grouping. was it LG that did something similar with their Optimus G line? they had this option to change from day 1 so i don't see why Samsung wouldn't enable it in a firmware. however it's possible that they never allow this. but i'm with you on that. i had to look for things longer than normal on my bro's phone because of this.
Sound quality when listening to music... is absolutely horrible. Spent a few months with an iPhone 5 and got used to awesome sound quality. Decided that I ultimately couldn't stand the limitations so I switched back to Android. Only to realize that, as a music lover, sound quality means a lot. And this device needs some serious tweaking.
I tried the Equalizer app from the Play Store. Still has a lot of crackling and popping in the background when playing music via Play Music.
If anyone knows an equalizer app that works flawlessly on this device please let me know. Otherwise I'm stuck waiting for CyanogenMod and their awesome EQ.

Yeah, but all of my music is uploaded to Play already. Over 20,000 mp3 tracks. And even if I did resort to playing local media only... the sound quality is still an issue. So that doesn't really resolve the problem.

Yes PowerAMP is the best player ever for sure but in comparison with my Note 2 this new Galaxy sounds much worse my Sony XB500. Very noticeable difference
Somebody knows is this a hardware or software issue?
give that new acid audio that got posted a try.
first phone where the power button is located on the side ... I find myself hitting the volume rocker often when I'm trying to turn off the screen... maybe it's the gel case I bought for the phone is too tight.. other than that I love and adore this phone

Is it possible to disable album art on lock screen without a custom lock screen?

This has been bugging me for a while - is there anyway to disable it? The app I'm using for podcasts allows you to but I don't think there a system-wide method or a way to do it for the stock music app? I'm still unrooted and can't really be bothered rooting just for this. I've also tried third-party lock screens which makes it possible but the the OP one is underneath and the design isn't in line with the rest of the phone. Not a huge problem but it's enough to annoy me!
