The ROM you are referring to has had its development discontinued. Please check out Modpunk's CM9 port if you wish to have CM9.

If you want a clean pure ICS ROM then go for CM9.
There is no CM9.1 stable yet, but we will reach there.
If you use the cyanogenmod 9 from this forum yes it is compatible for galaxy w. For now it is almost stable because all functions is now working. You can try it yourself. And for the best rom it is personal perferences because each rom has it own pros and cons depends on what you like and what you wanted

Try and install the latest version of CM9 maybe it haven't been fixed in the rc9

Is there any options for locksreen or how to enable weather on locksreen?
I installed and its running alright (just a tad bit slow, but it has only been about 10 minutes). Noticed at least on mine, it didn't set any APN, I had to create one. Looks good so far.

I haven't had any camera issues for a few days during my testing phases. And as for the apn issue i will get that cleared up asap. Hopefully by the next release

Oooo, after reset works!
Camera/Camcorder works for me also. It did reboot twice earlier randomly, hasn't done it again.

can you send me a pm of what you were doing (apps, steps, etc) so i can try and recreate it? or get a /proc/last_kmsg next time it random reboots

Yeah, i recently aquired another one (with a sony pane and one with a sharpl) so now i have 2 glaciers. working on a panel rewrites to support the new msm_fb from jb. but that is on the backburner atm. its no easy feet.

Just wait until we get a stable CM10.1........Right now it wouldnt feel that good using roms based on 4.2.2
No offense, but you're new here so if I were you, I'd wait a bit before starting make ROMs. Maybe you haven't got enough experience. I mean yeah, everyone can delete some apks or build.prop lines if he/she wants, but porting a ROM isn't always a piece of cake, especially when the base isn't stable yet (as @csoulr666 said).
