I have heard of it. I think the case is not too cheap and not too expensive. look like a nice choice. As you already ordered it, please share some impressions of the case when it comes!

sure i will.

Eh, Amzer produces a great deal of accessories for just about any new and/old device. In fact I remember when picking up my Droid X they were one of the first companies out of the gate with quite a few cases.
Selection wise, I'd give them a big plus, but as far as quality is concerned I'd say it's hit or miss. They are essentially just another high-output Chinese manufacturer.

I wanted to get that one, idk why I didn't. Go for it. They are good

Just wanted to post a quick review of the case if anyone is intersted. Got the case yesterday and has been using since
Pros
- Good quality soft touch plastic(hard), light in weight
- Excellent fit and finish and conforms well to led flash, camera, speakphone and buttons placement.
- Easy to apply and take off, yet holds on firmly to phone
- Texturized back makes it easy to hold the phone and give a rugged look
- Adds little bulk and shows off the sexy thin profile of galaxy s3
- Kick stand easy to operate and detachable, probably less prone to breaking off for that reason
Cons
- Doesn't protect the top and bottom bezel
- No texture on the sides, making it a bit slippery compared to the back
Overall a very good product for the price and i recommend it if you are not paranoid about bottom and top bezel getting scuff marks in the long run.

Just ordered for myself as well. I have been looking for a shellster/case-holster combo since this phones release and this is the only one I have seen that looks halfway decent while matching the phone.

New Case Review - Perforated Plastic

I was tired of waiting for SGP to get their $^#& together and decided to get yet another case.
I got this Perforated Retro Sports Case from Fommy.com.
http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page.asp?divid=Samsung&model=Samsung+Vibrant+T959&skuno=89299
I'm not sure what makes it "retro", but it is a nice looking case. It's a combination of hard plastic (the perforated area) and flexible plastic sides. It's thin - not like the Samsung mesh or Case Mate Barely There - thin, but probably a touch thinner than the average TPU case.
The case covers all sides, although you can still see a bit of the bezel. However, unlike a different case I tried, the amount that peeks out is consistent all around so it still looks nice.
Now, it's not without it's quirks - which may be deal breakers for some. First there are no cutouts for the speaker or the mic. The speaker is no big deal because the case is perforated - I didn't really notice much difference in volume of some music I tried. The mic, on the other hand, required a hammer and nail to deal with. It was pretty simple, though. I just lined up the hole from another case and then hammered a small nail through. It works just fine and I tested some calls with no reports of sound loss on the receiver's end.
The other "quirk" is that the cutouts on the top and sides are a little strange. The one on the volume side is really long and spans over the rocker keys and the strap-loop-hole. It's tapered well along the edges so it doesn't look bad or anything, just a little odd. The top opening also spans across both the jack and the usb port. This makes the bar along the top feel a little less solid than the rest of the flexible areas. I would have preferred they used two separate openings on top rather than one for the extra support. It's also cut rather close to the port, so if you are using a thick plug, you have to move the plastic up a bit. A little annoying, but at least you don't have to take the case off to plug it in like with some cases.
Things may change after a week of use, but my initial impression is positive. Overall, the case is very nice and is unique compared to the other stuff that's currently available. I do, however, think it's a bit pricey at $14.95+shipping (around $5 for super saver). But hey, money grows on trees.
Just ordered mine, From the looks of it, I think i will like this case better than the perforated plastic snap on case. This one looks like it offers full phone protection. tell me if the case would protect the phone in the event of a fall or drop. Rate its protection from a fall as either minimal, moderate, or maximum protection. I would appreciate your advice. Thanks
Since it covers all sides the protection is going to be better than the snap on. But its thin and pretty stiff so impact resistance is probably minimal to moderate at best, especially compared to silicone or TPU.

thanks for the review, but i would be worried about knowing from the get go that i would need to use a hammer and nails to get a plastic case to work.

Very true. I didn't try calls before making the hole so I'm not entirely sure it's necessary (although I imagine you would get a drop in sound quality with the hole covered).
I love this case. It is slim and perfectly follows the contours of the phone. The only thing that i didnt like was the hole missing over the microphone. But the texture and quality of the case is top notch. I have the mesh galaxy s back cover, the tpu grey argyle case, the body glove rubber case, the case mate tough case, and the carbon fiber samsung case. This one is the best of them all, I am very happy with this case

I ordered this case on Tuesday and it came today. I am very impressed and the quality is much better then I expected.
Did the one you got off Ebay come with the hole for the mic already cut? Looks in their photos like it's there already.

I ordered the blue and black one from fommy on thursday and received it today. Mine has the mic hole already cut out. In my opinion it feels just a little bit loose and kinda cheep. I like the way it looks and is very slim so I'm gonna give it some time to see if it grows on me or if i want something else
The black case I received fits extremely well and is not loose at all.
Great Deal on this Case
I'm getting one from Handhelditems.com found here xmatrix case and it's 10.99 and $2.89 shipping, plus I used coupon code 30vibrantsamsung and got 3.30 (30%) off. Price out the door - $10.54. Helluvuh deal
Got the case today. It sucks.

[Review] Seidio Innocase for Vibrant

So the first thing I noticed was that this is not a slider, but a front-and-back snap case. The product description says "Unique snap together design and opening slot makes putting on and removing your case easy" but for some reason thought it was a slider like the Surface II for the Captivate. So, it's not their fault I misunderstood.
Since the front bezel cover is so thin, my initial impression is that it seems a little flimsy. The back cover is also quite thin and has no lining like other Seidio cases. I think this was a conscious decision in order to keep the case as slim as possible. The fit is quite precise, so I don't think the lining would really make much difference as there is no movement within the case.
Although the front bezel piece seems flimsy at first, it feels quite sturdy once you snap it to the back cover. I do have some concerns the clips that snap together will wear down over time if you remove the cover frequently. Only time will tell on that point.
It has Seidio's "signature soft touch finish" which is like a somewhat rubberized matte texture. It's quite nice, but attracts prints if you have oily fingers.
Overall, the fit is pretty much perfect and the cutouts are precise. It's very thin and has a nice texture. Of the six cases I have, it's certainly the nicest. It does, however, cost about as much as the other five cases combined - $29.95.
At $19.95, I'd probably recommend it in a second. At $30 I have some reservations, namely the long term durability of the clasps that keep the two pieces together.

Good to know. Hopefully won't have to use it.
Thanks for the review.
I'm still sticking to my white mesh case. I like really light and almost-not-there type of cases.
Thanks for the review, mine should be here within a day or so.
I ordered using the coupon code XMAS15 that was posted here. Not certain it's still valid though as the poster said it may expire on the 19th.
To the OP, how does the phone feel in your hands compared to what you had previously?
Also, did your volume buttons ever rattle? This is my only hesitation as the silicone case from t-mobile prevents the rattles I have from the volume rocker (which is loose).

For reference, I've had TPU's, hybrid TPU/Plastic (the one with hard clear back), a generic version of the Barely-There, and a flexible plastic perforated case (XMatrix Cover from DayDeal).
The added size and weight is similar to the XMatrix perforated case. It's not as slim as the Barely-There style cases, but I think it's definitely lower profile than TPU or silicone.
The finish is nearly the same as the Barely-There knock off I have, but seems a little more durable (the coating on the old case started to come off within days). It's smooth, almost suede-like, but has a bit of tack when held in the hand. When put on a smooth surface, like a desk or on wood trim in a car, it does not stick at all. This is a bit of a negative for me. One thing I like about TPU cases is that they kind of stick when you lay them on a smoother surface (I usually put my phone on the wood trim next to the gear shift in my car) but are not tacky otherwise.
As for the volume buttons, mine are not loose so I can't really comment on that issue.
One other thing I've noticed in the last few days of using the case, is that bezel cover is attached to the bottom part in only a few spots so there is some give in the areas that aren't clipped together. I think they should have added a couple more contact points on each side. It's not terrible, but I'm a bit OCD so it probably bothers me more than it would most other people.
I'll report back, should be here anytime now.. thanks man.
Case is good, very slim and feels good in hand, not perfect like other Seidio products. Like the review states, the case is NOT slide-on which sucks. I dont know why they used clip-on design, with slide-on case could have been even slimmer and more durable. Fit is also nice, but also not perfect, phone is just a little loose in case, not noticeable right away until you play with it.

After waiting around for the SGP Slider, I was also hoping this would be a sliding case.
I did get to hold a Captivate with the Innocase II, which is a slider, and the fit was pretty awful. It moves around a ton compared to this front-back type. I guess I'll take this style and more precise fit over slider with a bad fit.
Is it the bump on the Vibrant that is the main issue with a slider?
I was a bit let down to find this was a snap on the front/back design.

Nice review! I can't help but feel like Seidio threw this product together in a hurry, after they realized there are people with Vibrants. It just looks cheap compare to their other offerings.
Just got it. initial impressions:
1 feels great in the hand. Looks good too.
2 I absolutely hate how easy it un-snaps.
3 I want to know their return policy till they have a legit case like the ones I am accustomed too from seidio.
4 it's much more difficult to press power now.
EDIT: okay, found out how to do the return, just waiting to hear back from them.

[Review] Wheng hook hard case

So today Ill be reviewing the Wheng Hook hard case (this is my very first review of anything so im sorry if it is a bit unprofessionally done.
So today I have finally received the Wheng Hook case from a seller on ebay and so far I have to say that it seems like a quality case. The packaging is some what mediocre yet nice at the same time. The seller adds a personal touch to the the packaging by adding a little sticky note saying thanks for purchasing the case (Its a little weird yet nice at the same time) The case consist of an outer bumper and a back plate that is to be positioned inside the case before putting in the phone itself. Something that sets this case aside from many is the fact that it is made for you to hold cards inside the case. This is a good addition for those who commute a lot and has things such as a smart trip card (a prepaid card for metro services for the train or buses). Instead of looking through your purse or wallet you can just place your phone on the pad as payment as you would the physical card. (Basically the metro bus and metro train station where I live does not support nfc so this addition in the case is amazing)
The phone fits very snug inside the case and it just simply feels very secure once placed inside. There are cut outs made for the volume rocker and power button so they are very easy to access. The cut outs for the camera, flash and speaker are also nice and fit leaving no gaps between them and the case itself. It also has a nice dip to it so there would be more difficulty for things smudging the camera. I have also noticed that there is just a small bit of weight added to the phone but this is great for those who things it is a bit too light.
The hook that is connecting the ends of the the bumper also seems very secure. It does not appear as if it will come apart so easily due to the fact it seems a bit awkward to take it out so it should resist falls just fine. The only real complaint I have about this case is the fact that the back plating seems to be a fingerprint magnet. Overall It was only $20 and I find it that you actually get MORE then what you pay for. It is an extremely solid case and I would highly recommend a purchase for those who are interested in it.
Link to the color I have purchased http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SAMSUNG...139051?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3cc8b1e36b
EDIT: I should also note that the picture of the bumper in the ebay link is WAAAAYY lighter then how it really appears in real life. The bumper is far darker.
Oh sorry here are just a few more pictures of the case that I forgot to add. As you can see its extremely thin,
Nice! Thanks for the review!

It's fantastic, thanks man.
Got this case today, it's extremely nice. If you're looking for a hard thin case, this is what to get. It's a million times better than those thing cases that just snap on and don't protect the top and bottom. This case feels extremely nice on the phone and the quality is great. Highly recommended.
Only complaint is I got the black/gray version and the black plate scratches and shows fingerprints too easily. I wish I had gone with the white glossy plate instead.

These are very nice thin and light hard case that will give light protection for your phone while still being stylish. My two case came in the other day (Black/Gray). I have not receive my One yet but the cases feel real nice in the hand. So if you are looking for a thin and light case, give these a shot.

Hey smooth,

Yes they have the same finish as the outside. It's hard to explain but it feels really smooth so I doubt its going the scratch the phone.
It actually feels a bit smoother on the inside. It's barely discernible, but it's there. My fingertips are well tuned, thanks to my woodworking.
It's a fantastic case, but offers almost zero screen protection. If that works for you, $6 from Amazon (US) can't be beat.

Appreciate the responses, may have to pick one up.
Picked up a green one for 5.99 with Prime shipping. I like it a lot, the texture is real nice, and it is a real tight fit so I dont think it will be moving around in the case, I have taken it on and off a lot in order to show people my nice aluminum phone., and have yet to notice any scratches though you do have to be careful taking it out of the case, as I said it is a tight fit. But Overall I really like the case, it really does offer almost 0 protection. It looks nice and feels nice. My one issue with the volume buttons are a bit difficult to press with it on and it kinda feels like it is something I could make if I had a 3d printer, very thin. Someone who is looking for a real protective case can look elswhere, this is almost all about style.
I just got my phone and this is how it look like in the black case:
Sorry for the poor lighting!
Very nice! I just ordered the gray one from amazon because my poetic borderline case is taking forever to ship. Hopefully this case will give just the right amount of protection.

I ordered some myself the other day. Even though they haven't arrived yet, they look very similar to the ROCK Quicksand cases they made for the Galaxy S3, and HOX. I'm just not digging their logo on the back... I'll probably remove it somehow.
bought the blue one. coming in on monday
great thin case
I really like this case. The texture is superb and sublime. Just enough to barely feel. There are just a couple of things that could be improved to make this case perfect for me.
1) The lip at the corners is slighly recessed and the corners should wrap around the phone a bit more. Almost every time I drop a phone it lands on a corner and with this case it's possible the aluminum could take the impact.
2) Lose the SIM tray cutout.
3) I'd feel better about putting the phone face down if the lip was just a half millimeter higher.
4) Power button cutout isn't quite cutout enough. It should be like the usb cutout which is perfect.
5) Volume cutout is just a bit 'sharp'. I wish the edges were smoothed a bit.
That said, these are nitpicky items and more like suggestions I guess. I would endorse this product.
Galaxy S4 cases
New to the forum. Anyone has suggestions regarding cases for Galaxy S4? There are so many choices out there. Just got confused easily.
I used to have a Bear Motion wallet case for my note and loved it. They seem to have the same wallet case available for S4.
But, I really want to have something simpler this time around. Any suggestions for a snap on case?
Same quality and fitment as Incipio and Spigen @ only $5.99... You can't beat em!
I have the Bear Motion case in grey, and yes, it's definitely a nicely fitted, slim, grippy case. However, the rubbery texture DOES begin to wear off with time. The coating on the edges on the front corners of the case have begun to wear off, revealing grey plastic underneath. Fortunately, it does blend fairly well so it isn't much of an eyesore. Hopefully you'll be able to see what I mean from the attached picture.

Ballistic Aspira Case: The slim, yet protective answer?

Stumbled upon this case and hadn't seen it mentioned in the forums here yet. I want something slim and pocketable, yet able to take a drop from waist height. This looks like the best thing I've found so far.
Due out mid-may according to the person I spoke with at the company. One thing she couldn't say for sure though was whether or not the power button was covered.
http://www.goballisticcase.com/products/htc-one-ballistic-aspira-series-case
The reason I asked her is if you look closely, you'll see a little bit of rubber sticking off the top... looks like a power button covering to me. What do you guys think? Anyone know more about this case, the company or seen a pre-production model? Maybe this is why it's been delayed* -- due to a mistake?
(See edited pics I attached below)
*Note: "Delayed" being my own personal interpretation as to why the case was not available at the launch of the new phone as most big case companies do nowadays.
The video at 0:29 shows the power button is covered. It could be that they will fix this like Poetic is.
On second look, I see that the video is a general one for their line and not for the One specifically.

Find out in next week's exciting episode who I'll choose.... will it be, the slim yet protective answer... or the slimmest, most pocketable answer?
From the posts, comments and effort placed into details, information and thoughts people provide on these forums in general, we're all kinda part of a soap opera it seems. Makes sense, phones are a total love/hate relationship!
I can attest that Ballistic make some really good Cases. I had the Ballistic Smooth Case on my HTC One S and I loved it, it looked Stylish yet protective.
While the Ballistic Aspira looks good i still prefer the Smooth, too bad its not available for the HTC One.
That said, i would definitely give the Aspira a Try, the only thing that worries me is the hard plastic, looks scratchable...
Anyone tried this case out yet? I've got one on the way, looking for an ideal, attractive case with good protection all around (without being overkill and covering all the ports and adding unnecessary bulk). Not into the UAG case... hate the milspec/ruggedized styling.
I hope it looks like it does in the photo... has a very "Portal"-esque aesthetic to it
lol it does remind me of Portal as well.
But really, tbh... this looks far from slim and pocketable o_o
The UAG looks smaller than this.
Judging by reference dimensions and proportions, I figure the corners of the Aspira stick out a tiny bit more than otterbox Commuter, whereas the waists are a bit slimmer. UAG outside dimensions are about the same as Commuter, the real differences seem to be in how deep/thick the case is... UAG is the slimmest there, Commuter feels thick due to the rear and side profile, I expect the Aspira will feel better in that regard, even with the higher edges around the screen. Hopefully they don't get in the way of typing etc. I'd love to do a full side by side review with Commuter, Aspira, UAG with professional comparison and specific measurements, anyone got a UAG to send me?

Awesome, look forward to it. Very interested in comments regarding the lip around the screen and overall pocket-ability. Cause you can tell it would take a drop it better than a thin TPU or Seidio Surface.
Also make sure you take a photo of a very dark environment to engage the flash and let us know about any wash-out (if present). The design looks like it accounted for it in two ways by keeping the opening far away from the flash & lens + blacking out the rings around them.

Ballistic Aspira = Great bloody case.
Wow, just arrived and got it on the phone, fantastic case! Quick first impressions review here, I'll make a real review thread soon as I can, this case deserves the attention.
-The case feels much, much slimmer than my otterbox Commuter, comparing the depth (thickness) and width of the cases the Aspira is a hair smaller in both dimensions, but it FEELS much smaller due to the superior ergonomic contours and curvyness. This is the exact criteria I was hoping for with this case, I'm a product design engineer myself and love good simple, ergonomics above all, favouring natural curves to fit the hand. Very impressed with the case in that regard, the glossy white back with grippy forward edges handles extremely well and much less likely to slip from my hand than my Commuter case.
-Built quality is fantastic, the plastics used are top quality with perfect finish, the overmolded one-piece design is right on the money, and the blends where the two materials meet are very precise and no hanging burrs, overlaps etc. Cutouts couldn't be better... they look fantastic and the size and placement is bang on. Nothing in the way of the power button IR blaster, no issue using 90 degree headphone connector, best looking camera cutout I've seen. To top that all off, the volume rockers function perfectly, a clear step up in function and feel from the Commuters which are too stiff, and there are no slots or cutouts around the rocker to let dirt in. Also, the Ballistic text logo molded into the one side looks really bloody clean... I dig it.
-Lip around the screen is about 3mm height, same as the Commuter. does not interfere with typing or swyping near the outside of the keyboard. the lip is raised the slightest bit in the four corners, adding some extra bounce protection there and does not get in the way, additionally it means when laying the phone face down, it's standing up the littlest bit on those corners, which I really like.
-Criticisms: don't have any yet... which is fantastic as I'm a severely picky perfectionist. initial impressions is top score in appearance, handling, and build quality... I don't think this case could be made any thinner without sacrificing protection, I feel it offers an excellent level of protection especially if combined with a glass screen protector.
Durability test will come throughout the week, I keep my phone in coveralls pocket all the time and work in a busy machine shop, my phone does get dropped from time to time and usually gets dirty with aluminum dust, coolant residue, etc from handling. the HTC One tends to pick up tiny steel filings around the speakers (magnets yo), the commuter was a PITA with this cause I had to take the case off the phone to clear them away... this case has just the right bit of flex around the speaker grills so it should allow me to wipe them away with the case on. Will report end of the week, and do a photo test with flash in the dark to check for reflection in the cutout.
Also I will get photos of it on the phone! it really looks fantastic :good::good:
Can anybody comment on how this case will fit into Slim (not skinny) jeans? Does the silicone part catch in pockets? Does it not wrap properly in some places? I had a ballistic for GS2 until I realized that thing was a tank and only needed a TPU case.
Also, the back is just polished polycarbonate as opposed to the Aspira's big bro, the GS, which has a TPU back that is virtually unscratchable. That's closer to what I had for the GS2. Can anybody tell us if the back is prone to scratches?
I'll give you detailed field report in a few days time, I keep my phone in jeans pocket usually and always taking it out to browse on transit, two hours a day, plus shop time. Should have an idea about scratch resistance and pocketability by Friday
Ps, did some low light flash photo tests, no signs of whiteout/reflective effects from camera/flash cutout.

I dig it.

Thanks for the first impressions!, I'm glad that mine is on the way! . Looking forward for the pics ! Cheers
Just a little mid week update: case has totally grown on me, it's been perfect for me so far. Been working on a batch of small aluminum parts at work with machining and polishing, made sure to handle the phone plenty with my dirty hands.. dirt will barely stick to the glossy back, and wipes off easily. It will stick to the silicone but it wipes off that too. So far it's great for dirty job! Someone asked about or mentioned case materials of other ballistic cases, I believe the base material of this case is PA or PV based, most likely acrylic based. It's a super fine gloss finish in a solid milk white colour, with just enough flexibility to get on the phone. Poly-Acrylic makes sense since it feels great but also keeps enough tack for good handling, and depending on the blend and curing it can have excellent scratch and abrasion resistance, which this case appears to have. It should also exhibit good UV and sunlight resistance, as not to embrittle and change colour over time, which TPU can do. The lining material of the case is a silicone type rubberized plastic, it has a good solid cure and shouldn't shred like the softer durometer grades like some otter cases tend to do.
Off topic but funny cause of the irony, those aluminum parts I'm working on are fiber optic parts for the bad guys (Samsung). I believe Intel uses them too. I actually have no idea what they are for.
I just got this case today (gift from my boss who got it from out Ballistic rep). Having had it on for a few hours, I can tell you that it feels good , even though it's a little slick, not too thick, not as thick as an Otterbox Commuter. The power button is open, all the openings are where they're supposed to be. Seems like a good case
I just got mine in today and I really like this case! I have a zillion different cases and this one seems to give me the best of everything I want. I was using Case-Mate tough case before which I really like too.
Sent from my HTC One with hi-fi stereo and the Now Network.
