Militia Green HTC Evo

I finally bought the Sprint Extended battery and thought the extra white battery cover just didn't look right on the black Evo, so I decided to paint it one of my favorite colors Olive Drab super matte army green (whatever you want to call it)
Let me know what you think!

I sanded it down and used Krylon's Camo paint and a couple of coats of Krylon's matte clearcoat. it didn't take very long to do at all.

Cool may be headed out to get some paint to do mine as well..damn white one is too glossy and I don't like it that color either.
May give it a Hammered Finish
Hell one could use it as an EVO mirror out of the box.

After seeing that... I think I may have to do it too!

Thanks. I saw that TridentCase came out with the Cyclops case in the Olive Drab green and I really liked the idea of that color for my phone. The red ring around the camera lens really stands out and brings out the look. I'm planning on getting a vinyl decal of the offset Android logo for the back in yellow or maybe gunmetal.

Incipio feather

Im interested in the incipio feather after reading many reviews. I'm fairly set on it unless anyone has a better alternative. I have 2 tpu cases that I don't use anymore and would like to step up.
Also, I'm tossed on the color to get. I'm leaning towards the blue cause I like the look of the Lumia 900, but I don't know if its too much. I would consider another brand if it is recommend tho?

I just got the blue one last week on my Black E4GT. Love it.

What color is your E4GT? I have the black feather on my white E4GT and I think it looks really good...but the grey one would probably look good as well...

I have a black e4gt. I wish incipio made a white feather, but they dont. thats why im on the blue one now. All the other colors dont seem right for me.
I wish i had a white e4gt. i would definitely put the black incipio on it as well

I'd suggest getting the light grey feather then do minor sanding then paint/seal it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I really don't want to mess with it, kor do I have the time. Just seems odd they wouldn't make a white version.
Anyways, does anyone have a pic of the blue on on their phone?

from what Ive read the pictures from incipio are a little misleading. one review i saw commented that there actually way more protection on the corner

I saw that one as well. I don't know why these suppliers dont make white. I know case mate does, but those are terribly made
if anyone has a pic of the blue incipio feather i'd really like to see it on a real phone before I buy

White tends to fade/turn orange from exposure to the sun.

true, my white sline got pretty dirty, but it depends on the material used. That was a very easily stained rubber. a feather case with an overcoat like they make for iphone would more than suffice for the average user

Nice video.. was going to buy this case for mine next week.. cos i dont like bulky cases..and that non slippery texture just caught me... i have heard that it comes in grey and purple and some other colour.. i have the blue galaxy s3.. which one do you think would suit that??

get the dark blue or grey one.

Definitely go with that charcoal black or grey.

Great video dud. I hope you don't mind but i link your video to the american forums.

I got the same case in grey and it is very nice, just make sure you dont get a 'copy' as theres quite a few on ebay (it should say 'ROCK' on the back).

Even though this case might not be as protective as some TPU cases, I find the texture to provide superior grip and in- hand feel.
I've had the dark and light gray cases (authentic) for about two weeks now and they hold up well with no signs of wear.
I think I'd go so far as to say that the Rock Quicksand is THE best case I've ever had for ANY phone. And like most of you XDA folks, that's a lot of phones and cases!

Go with the Black one....which is actually a DARK GREY. Not sure why Rock even calls it Black....maybe they're color blind?I'm sure whoever created the color codes in China just called the Dark Grey Black....and the Light Grey....Grey. They should actually be Dark Grey.....Light Grey.:victory:
I bought the Generic Grey initially and thought it looked MUCH too light on my Blue GS3....kinda reminded me of the underbelly of a Stingray or even a Great White Shark....but now it's grown on me.
Just for reference the Generic Quicksand case available on Amazon has a more rubberized texture....and it's actually quite nice.
I have a few more weeks to send it back I think I'll keep it....unlike the Rearth Ringke which just doesn't do it for me even though many of the feature are ever so slightly better than the Rock.
I plan on doing a side by side comparison of all three cases right after Christmas and maybe have a few more cases to compare against each other.

Which colour would you choose? White or Gray?

Lot of people saying White has this and that problem. Are they true? I personally don't like the Gray colour at all, and wanted to buy a White one but I am confused. Is there any such problem in the white colour?

I'm having the same dilemma, but my gf says to get gray... apparently she doesn't "want a girlfriend", I do really enjoy the brushed lines there on the gray one though. I think the white is just too white... unlike the new iPhone 5 or the white amaze 4g or sensation by HTC with a nice metal band,coming separating two rubberized pieces of plastic (as opposed to 1 big slippery piece of plastic on this phone... god knows how many times i'm going to drop this phone)

I had a black metal bumper on my white S3 and it looked fantastic. The Note 2 is probably too big for a metal bumper so I will probably put a black tpu on it. There seems to be more you can do with the white, while the grey will always just be grey.

I agree although another reason for me to get gray is to prevent my gf from stealing my phone
But I do agree, white does look nice too, I wouldn't mind it as it does look good with the other flip cases. I do want to know if I can replace the back cover of the T-Mobile one with an international one to get rod of the carrier branding. I know the NFC module is on there but do you think its interchangeable?

Going with the Gray here. OG white note had several reports of hairline cracks on bezel. Might be a non-issue with the 2 and i like the gray better.
from a galaxy far far away....

I went for the white one. I'm a man and my girlfriend hasn't commented on it. Besides, it's too freaking huge to look girly anyway.

same dilemma, but i feel that the white will look good and match with any color of case whereas the grey might only match well with a black case.

Grey. White seems too common nowadays.
You can't find a grey phone elsewhere!

I'm going for the Grey version more then likely... My girlfriend wants hers in White. :angel:

Grey for me, looks fantastic much more executive looking than the toy like white IMO...

I have the Grey. The white shows less smudges and less dust. The Grey is notorious for collecting dust in the grove around the bezel. Titanium Grey is still freaking sexy though.

I have white S3 and Gray Note 2 and from experience with white S3 there is nothing wrong with white however believe me gray is much more cooler and looks sexier in person. I know because I have both colors of galaxy.

What do you mean notorious? (The phone's only been out about a week and a half) and why doesn't the white exhibit the same behavior?
I'm paranoid about dust because my Sensation just recently had dust get beneath the glass (annoying as heck in the sun) and that just takes away from the resell value

I just sold my white and I'm ordering the grey one. Nothing wrong with the white one at all, looked pretty nice but I can't get the grey off my head!

I bought the white one. It hasn't arrived yet. I'm a white supremacist so...
Just kiddin... I buy online so I couldn't weigh my option as to which looks cooler or more solid. I can only base myself from my current phones, and I come from a long line of white iphones as these show smudges and fingerprints less. When I had black/grey phones, they used to look dirty, greasy and disgusting...

Which UAG color I should buy for red htc one?

I hesitated between white and orange. So I want to ask you guys which color is good looking for RED HTC ONE.

Just joking If I were you and had to buy UAG for my red htc1, definitely black. Red-Black combo looks great.
But i bought two cases and now regret it. The cases are great - I have incipio frequency black which would IMHO look also great on red one and belkin grip sheer matte black.
But it's such a shame to cover such beautiful phone.

When I bought mine, the red wasn't an option, so I went with the silver/white. If I were to buy a new one today, I would go wth the red.
You can mix it with some cool cases if wanted, and even some cool themes/ROMS (like Viper ONE) if you plan on rooting it.

Hmmm imho orange doesn't look too great with red, but white does.

that is the only one id say would look sleek and great withthe uag
also, dont worry about "covering the phone up" and not seeing its sexyness. It feels great having that case on it and knowing that it will not break or scrape easily. it is very conforting

Without any confusions and doubts the Black would be the best one... :good:

As someone who has both go with the black. I'm thinking about getting some Fusion for Plastic Paint (Gloss Sun Dried Tomato) and painting the white one RED to match as I don't think UAG is going to make a RED variant.
