I think its the fact that the SG3 uses a different base called Touchwiz, while the Galaxy Nexus is pure google NO TOUCHWIZ. Those widgets probably rely on that Touchwiz system to run. ie like HTC Sense and their widgets.

you don't want to know how often our s3 addon pack was downloaded it's a pitty that the touchwiz launcher isn't working with jelly bean so we can't use your modded weather widget.

Looks like stock touchwiz clock/weather widget.
Sent from my Paranoid GTab2 (P3113)
Could be stock touchwiz or uccw that's my guess.
Sent from my IPhone running the latest AOKP.
it's the clockweather widget of the touchwiz.you can have that by installing THIS addons.it has also lots ot others samsung stuff,if you don't want others things, like sounds, apk etc delete them from the zip you download.i think you can grab also only widgets that you request, but i doubt they works without a tw frameworks.i reccomend install the full package and at least delete before some apk or sound only
Is this clock widget available only in Jelly Bean? Any chance I can get it on SGS2 on 4.0.4?
Also how do I customize the search bar to be all white?

I do not know, ask for here. (click)
UCCW clock widget has a theme for that and ANY other layout you can imagine. The app is free in the market and themes are available in the Android Themes forum.

Question

OK ive been seeing a commercial for an lg phone that u can do multiple things at the same time ie: record video and text at the same time without leaving recording screen is this possible on our phone? Would it be a mod and would our device not be able to handle it?
sent from my spell ridden galaxy nexus
Not happening. Its a feature the skin overlay adds. Would require porting the whole skin just like the Samsung version.
I'm confused by skin overlay what do you mean and the other party about porting.. I'm no developer but certain things can be pulled and ported to go on a phone, isn't it an apk that does it or system ui or Idk....lol
sent from my spell ridden galaxy nexus
Its not Legos. You can't just pull a system app dependent on system frameworks from one device and install it to another.

No I get that but there have been many things pulled, edited and then done that way Motorola launcher with its widgets for example

You're not talking about a widget here. You're talking about system framework and things much deeper in the system. If it was that simple it would be done already.
I was also referring to the actual razor max launcher has well and had far as framework the ROM I'm on has all kind of changes in ui ... I'm going to all them if it's possible thanks though

You're not listening so I give up.

You will need HTC Sense framework to run anything Sense based.
I'm not sure about anyone else, but now that I know HTC has risked millions of users info on poorly coded apps. I'll never run anything HTC again.

Looks like it would be fairly simple to recreate in UCCW, just from the screenshot.

I'm using a Google phone....so everyone has that faith.....also I've never seen Google sued by the FTC.....http://thehackernews.com/2013/02/privacy-of-millions-of-htc-devices-at.html?m=1 so till that happens I will always have faith in Google because they code the OS.

Are there any ROMs that have the Motorola Circles Widget?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any ROMs for sprint sgs3 have the Motorola Circles Widget. I assume the launcher must be from Motorola as well to get them to function but I'm not positive. I know there are apps, like One More Clock, that have fake circles, but I'm looking for the fully functional flipping/interactive circles. Screenshot below to show what I'm talking about. Any info is appreciated!

Yeah still haven't found any that are interactive though. There's a ROM for AT&T that allows you to choose the RAZR M launcher which comes with them. So jelly.
Interactive how?
Because theres Rings digital weather clock which looks exactly the same
