Sweet Armor Metal Bumper Video Review and Pictures

So I saw a lot of requests for a video of the Sweet Armor metal bumper for the Galaxy S2 so I decided to upload a review of it. I received it in the mail today and so far it has been pretty good. I probably won't be using it though since need to use the Case-Mate Pop's kickstand very often. I highly recommend the bumper though. It is a much better option than the Taurus bumper and the other available bumpers.
The best part is that it will fit the 2000mAh battery with the backdoor!
Also, I will be receiving my black brushed aluminum back cover for the phone on Saturday. If you want any pictures of that or pictures of it paired with the Sweet Armor case let me know.

Nice!!! That hole for antenna is annoying but I think that it would be next accessory for mine pet Only 14.59 $!!! And please post picture with aluminum back cover.

Just type "metal bumper i9100" on eBay and start looking around. There are a bunch of sellers selling these with international shipping, but some are more expensive. You should be able to find one that sells around 20 Euros though.
Just keep browsing and make sure to look at the pictures!

yes, it`s that one. but that your sweet armor bumper has logo only on left side where is volume up and down button, and those pictures are taken from opposite side, so you can`t know if it has logo or not i ordered red one so we will see

I tried out the Ikuba, I really didn't like it. The Sweet Armor is a much better bumper for the price.

Got you guys some pictures of the bumper along with the aluminum backplate

Not that I have seen. It still locks onto the GPS in 5-10 seconds.

Regarding the Aluminium Back-Cover
Hey there matey,
First of all, thank you for the detailed report, both the text and video iterations.
I just wanted to ask (I just ordered the Sweet-Armor bumper in black), where did you order the back-cover from?
I ask this as the seller from whom I purchased the bumper from, did not include the back-cover. (Not sure if it's meant to be part of the package)

Check out the brief review at Amazon. Sounds good. Looks like a nice mixture of a thin case with a nice lip. I went ahead and placed my order from Amazon via Wireless Everything. I called them. They said they were selling the retail box version and that their standard shipping includes USPS First Class. I just recieved an email stating that it has shipped.
I'm going to get the Case-Mate Tough Case also went it comes out. Who knows though, maybe this one is overall a more stylish and functional case because of how thin it is.

It is certainly a nice case. Maybe I'll order one too. But I really wanted a tough case because I've had experience with that case and I know it to be a good one. Hmmm... decisions decisions. Hopefully when you guys get one you can upload some more pictures and your personal opinions.

I received mine today, and it's wonderful. The only thing I would comment on is that the hard back makes it easy to slide around. Only having it face-down will keep it from slipping.

why is it $40

Those are really good for protection. I just wish they made a while and grey colored case.

Be careful buying the Leather cases from ONLINE. i live here in HK and Shenzhen, and i know they make the copy version looking the exact same but its not the same quality leather plus the inside part that touches the screen of the galaxy note is different. personally i used the original leather white case for about one month then i switched because even the originals will wear down and start to peel away depending how ruff you are with your cases.
Personally now i carry the ZENUS Case and i love it alot more.

I have one I am not using but when I sell the phone I am sure the new owner will want it. I bought a used White Note and decided i did not like white as the phone was to conspicuous already, . Regualar cases are too bulky so I began looking for the blue Samsung flip cases to cover the white up. but decided after actually using the white one for a few days, it was a PIA to take a call on and decided not to deal with any case and just skin the phone with Decalrus.com

I too have been looking for the international flip OEM case in white...no luck. I've seen a few on Ebay and when I asked the Sellers they said it would fit. Upon researching I found they would not fit. I saw a review on Amazon where someone said they bought one on expansy, but they are sold out of white, they do have the dark navy though for $24.99. Please, if anybody has for sale or knows where one can be bought, do tell Thank you.

Hi everyone thanks for the tips on finding a case. I found one on ebay that the seller states is OEM and its for the international SGN and shows pictures of the battery clips for reference and says its NOT for the At&t version. The price wasn't bad either $13.99 with free shipping. Seller does not have perfect feedback but for $13.99 i took a gamble. Ill post back after i receive it and comment on fit and finish. I contacted this seller and asked if it was the Samsung case, because my experience on eBay has been with sellers in Hong Kong or China that they make their own and put Samsung's branding on. They replied this morning and it is in fact not an original Samsung. Ugh....maybe you don't mind that, but I do....I want real oem dang it!

You never know, it could look and function just as well as Samsung's........but whenever you see a seller claiming an "oem" item and you see they are from Hong Kong/China/etc...ask them if it's real oem and not made by their factory. The seller did reply that the case was made with the "finest craftsmanship". But please, if you think of it, let us know how it is when you get it.

Next time just shoot me a message and i can tell you right away if it is real leather or fake or real oem. The 9only reason why i can tell is because i moved to shenzhen 3 years ago and I'm like 10 mins from Hong Kong.
The fake original cases you see on ebay are made of **** quality leather and the glue they use is not great at all. plus the soft valvet side that actually touches your phone is extremely different, and the cut out hole area for the ear peice is to wide, and the Samsung logo on the back is made from a very cheap shiny plastic. If you live here you can buy them for around 4-5$ USD.

SPIGEN SGP Leather Pouch Crumena for Samsung Galaxy SIII

I was able to get this from a friend because he doesn't like pouch style protection so he has given it to me.
I personally love pouch-style over cases so in my opinion, this fits well and is great. Only thing is that I rather have a fabric like the one that came with the G1 over this leather feel. Amazon seems to sell them for 29.99. I can't post links so please search for

those are terrible IMHO. They are nothing like the original ones that came with HTC. Super flimsy and weak.

No, the sleeve from SPG is tight enough where if you held the pouch with phone upside down, it won't slip out. Thats with the naked device.

I have the original G1 case, along with this and they are both equivilant...where are you getting your info from?
In fact, I can't find any difference at all...makes me think that HTC may have contracted with that company to make the original g1 sleeve

the vendor I get fromis every_sell
i have been getting pouches from them for almost every phone i've had.....I can't find a difference at all...
I once bought a pouch for them and was about to give them a negative review because they state OEM....i emailed them saying I was going to give a neg review due to them stating OEM.
They told me that htc actually contracted with who they get the cases from to make it for the g1...so all they do is redesign it for the new phones with the same material and build quality, hence stating OEM
i would have given them a negative review it was cheap and flimsey...but It isn't....it is a little deceiving they state OEM when it isn't, but the build quality doesn't suffer, so i dont mind.....if it did, i would have given them negative reviews

Hey question for you guys who own this case. I've been reading up on reviews for the crumena (mainly on amazon) and there has been some complaints about the case actually scratching up the phone. The scratches are mainly on the side and more specifically the back of the phone mainly due to the ribbon.
Are you guys experiencing the same problem??

christian, I didn't even get a days use out of the case. After fighting with it to get my S3 to go inside of the pouch, I ended up having to use a razor blade to remove the stitching as the S3 was stuck inside of it. I was reimbursed by SGP.

Etsy Pouches

For my previous tablet and phone ownerships I've always opted to go for cases in order to protect my devices. For my previous Xoom i went with the bulky otterbox and for the nexus 4 I went with the Acase Superlaggera.
For the nexus 7 I wanted to go with something lighter and less bulky. I decided to just go with a Spigen screen protector for the tablet itself and to get a leather pouch. I began looking at puches on etsy. These are the ones that I was looking at:

They looked nice but were ultimately too expensive. I decided to buy the following one:

The shipping was really fast. The pouch protects the device pretty well and holds the tablet snuggly. It has some sort of felt material for the inner part of the pouch. The only negative I've experienced is that the leather is easy to mark but I guess it gives the pouch character.

I ordered that same pouch, but without the logo. Dark gray denim with green inside. Excited to see the quality of the pouch.
I never even thought to look at etsy for cases until I saw this thread. So thanks for the all of the great links!

yeah I also went without the logo. Red inside (GO TERPS) for me, but I went no logo becuase I read that it was 'painted on' and if I'm spending more $$ I was expecting sewn in, so it wasnt worth it. Quality actually looks really good from online though. Should be in in about 2-4 weeks so we'll see
