The latest version 1-15-2011 have gmail. It just gives you more options on what you want to install. check the boxes and it will install what you want.
Could someone enlighten me as to how the upgrade path for this will work?
I'm new to the Android scene, and have heard lots about Cyanogen, I'm just a bit confused about all the different versions and such.
I was following the previous thread, which seemed to be about preview nightlies, and now we're just talking about nightlies...
Is this sort of like a RC, or is this the final deal? If this isn't the final deal, how difficult is to to update your phone once an update is posted (nightly?).
Sorry for the newbishness, any guidance is appreciated!

It's the same thing from Zinx previews, but here we will have official nightlies from the devs that mean every night we will have a build from the buildBot. Both Zinx and kmob's are the official CM Teams.
Looks like I have something to do tonight...my bro has been asking me about cm7 on his MT4G for awhile now...
Sent from my htc_leo
Josh, wait for a release candidate. these are more for testing even if they work fine.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Gotta say that nightly number 1 is flying compared to the rest of the cm7 builds out thee love it!
NIGHTLY are not for noobs
Nightly #1 has broken wifi, fyi. It turns on, doesn't scan for a network, and then turns itself off after about 30 seconds. But in general, I'm excited that nightlies are finally here.
Great job so far zinx and kmobs... thanks.

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only at the SGSCM10 bug tracker. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.

"V2" was not made by any of the CM team and I don't know what's in there. This build is the actual state of the CM10 source code as of now.

Help testing attached ROM

Hi All,
I have compiled and created [ROM][7.1.1] Lineage OS 14.1 from sources. Could someone please install it and check if everything is good as i don't have the device.
Once this is build is successful i will try to build as many as i can. Please make sure to do backup before installing this ROM
Download links:
ROM: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwD8bd8k984nZnlHY21uMkQxckU/view?usp=sharing
Gapps: Delta Gapps or Open GApps.
Install instructions:
Reboot into recovery (latest TWRP required).
Wipe data, system and cache if it's a fresh install.
No wipes required if you're updating from a previous build of CM/Lineage 14.x (wipe cache and dalvik cache recommended).
Flash ROM and Gapps. Reboot.
KitKat bootloader/modem files:
This zip contains the bootloader and modem files from latest stable international release (MIUI8 V8.1.2.0 Kitkat). Install it from recovery just once (not needed between rom updates) and reboot. No wipes required.

Note:
* Your warranty is now void.

* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

Jagadeesh.
Nice to see new developers coming maintain the lineageos 13 by updating it bi weekly or monthly until lineage supports it as it has the latest security fixes and the stability users want with theme engine as fefifofum only maintaining nougat 14.1 builds
Yeah I downloaded TWRP 3.1.0 (latest) from its original site and then Lineage 14.1(nightly) from its official site. It's working very well it's just that my device(Redmi 1s) has started to hang a bit otherwise it's all right.
