[ROM][2.1 Sense] MaxDroid [HTC_CIME included](Based on Singapore Android 2.1 OTA ROM)

Just thought of sharing my own mod to all XDA members
Features:
- added root permissions
- added Busybox
- Based on Stock Android 2.1 Singapore OTA
- Kernel is based on Flykernel-10a
- Default frequency is 576/352. Overclockable in the 176-749 range.
- HTC_CIME included
- Zipalign all .apk files to optimize RAM usage
- Task Killer tweaked
- HTC_IME (Mod) included
- WiFi-Tethering
- Dalvik2Cache included
- Fully odex'ed so you get more free space on /data
- A2SD [only available on MaxDroid 1.0 (A2SD Version) and MaxDroid 1.0 (Deodexed+A2SD Version)]
- Deodexed [only available on MaxDroid 1.0 (Deodexed+A2SD Version)]
Removed:
- Stocks + Widget
- Footprints + Widget
- Removed some images,ringtone,notifications sound and alarm sound

Well it's good to see that your release notes are clear and professional!
I'll try this out. Are you certain that you've thanked (and asked permission of) everyone who's work you used though? I'm certain you based your deodexed content off of an existing rom, it would just be too much work to do yourself again, but I think a thank you could maybe go out to that source as well. Edit: Maybe the kitchen supplies you with the stuff I'm asking about, so you probably already did thank the right person if that's true

By the way,this ROM was not deodexed and it was based on the unrooted stock android 2.1 Singapore OTA...oh about the ROM,I am uploading it right now,forgot to upload it just now...

First of all,I want to share my work to those who really want to use HTC_CIME and also to those who want a faster and stable ROM...

u have already been rude -.-" no one ask you to try it.
you can don't even click in & read it as this post topic was ROM 2.1 sense.
as for all 2.1 rom out there having an issue that people didn't notice or don't even bother as they don't use it. so i gave up asking.
it's the call during BT media, when there is a call in while you listening to mp3 it will either dc the BT or you unable to hear or the person who call you unable to hear you through BT handfree mic. only able to use your mobile mic to talk. it's kinda wierd while you using BT handfree & hold your phone & talk in public.
i've been asking about this issue on a lot rom build post but people seem to ignore me as if my post/reply was not there at all.
as for this rom i have not try yet. hopefully it solve my problem.

By the way,I have tried to keep the ROM as original as it can get,did not modify the other stuff,just add or remove apps the images in it (also ringtones and notifications sound too)

i had flash your rom & there is not app2sd. as for the BT thingy i will try it out tml =)
edit: oh~ btw your rom was smooth/fast/stable just like villainrom12 =) & good choice of kernel by erasmux! hope for app2sd.

Hello dear Xda . I present you my first rom
I tried to make it like an Aosp rom , using a Stock JS7 from Doc Rambone , iammodo & dago Aosp theme adding the Android Apps and Widgets , and removing some Samsung bloatware( touchwizz , touchwizz calculator , samsung keyboard, and much more) .

Instalation instructions:
Root with Cf root
install a root explorer to backup efs folder for safety.
Flash Clockwork recovery
Copy the rom in the /sdcard root
enter clockwork recovery
choose instal zip from sdcard
chose the rom
select yes
reboot.

Remember , disable anylagfix .

Not meant as negative, just in the wrong section.

With all my respect , this is a heavly modified Doc rom. I needed a deodexed base , so I choosed JS7 base with Stock theme from DocKitchen and many apks removed . I have all the respect in the world for Doc , this is why I put him first at credits . If you want to try it , try it , or if you don't want, good for you too .

I used only the deodexed rom files from doc . I applied the android aosp apps and theming , for which I gave credits too . Only the deodexed and zipalagn is Doc Rom part. I don't know how to deodex and I choose Doc base because is the best start.

Done that m8, it won't start download. It says it start downloading but stops suddenly.

as i notice,,,our legendary developers arent updating their thread..fixing bugs and making improvement....if this is the case...maybe they could share their sources for us to update them..ofcourse it should not be publicly shared...

some working on the CM9 port and Kernel development, others working on their individual projects or MAYBE giving some time to their life outside XDA
P.S. Just yesterday a ROM got another update, chobitsdigitalis.

Not only their life is developing for android, just respect the developers and wait patiently!

they are also having there real lifes

i know that...if only all roms are opensource,.,..,

First reason REAL LIVE IS MORE IMPORTANTS
as i know they are working hard for our device
Cm7 with stable an booted version no longger will be released
New rom with ext4 file system only needs alot of fix it will be leaked very soon(M.U.R)
Kernel is underdevelopment thats why no update becouse they want present us new kernel with stable functions
About the source
The reason is he give the source soo we can watch they work progress

most of roms for sgy are customizable. you may customize your rom as you like but make sure you have the original dev's permission if you publish your work to public. it doesn't applied to creeds v2.5 since it has different framework thus make any modification is difficult.

Is the problem only with Creeds v2.5 or with all of its versions? I've even tried replacing the dialer in Repencis with a Creed's theme's dialer, made by Sgy.Creed. Doesn't work.

I don't have older version of creeds so I'm not really sure about this. theme for old creed's are exchangeable with other rom. thus, I think these kind of problem only exist in creeds v2.5.

you need to select 0 swap size.

go to CWM recovery>advanced>select size for partition(512mb should be enough)>select 0 swap size.
now wipe data/cache and then install your rom again and check,it should be working fine.

I might be wrong but check that resetting any sizes doesn't give you an extra partition,you might be creating multiple partitions by doing this?
Also if you have used custom mtds then you might need to increase the sizes from previous values due to this rom being larger!!
I had no problems using mtds 240 40
SD ext 256mb 0 swap.

I dont think resetting sizes would give you multiple partitions,because every time you create a partition,the SD card gets formatted and that must remove the previous partition.

Hi, i am using this rom for two days now its fast.its nice,I made it even more fast by using v6 supercharger ,may be it can help u guys also.and i have a request if u can make a sense 4 htc one x themed rom.and may be use Phoenix launcher in the current rom .it gives u a better ICS feel to it.plz consider it,thank u for a very nice rom.hoping to see more....

you made it faster by adding yet another script tweak to go with the handful of them already in this rom!! I think you are seeing the placebo effect of these tweaks,I removed all the scripts and tweaks and modded a few things manually and it ran just as fast for me afterwards.

hi,now because you are "new to this" is the reason I am not going to guide you,your probably best just using "as they come" roms until you get used to experimenting. that's all it is... just experimenting by removing/adding etc etc,reading up in all threads,trying this,trying that if I just come in and tell you what I did then you don't learn anything and my tweaks might not be to you or others liking. just make sure you do your nandroid backups prior to changing anything and that way you can fall back to a working rom if you go wrong. regards slym.

V6 tweak!

How can I use this tweak?

well i don't personally use it, but it might be a good idea to do some research.

If you are talking about the supercharger script...there is a whole thread dedicated by the developer.
Its is not a simple click and profit situation. Do some research and give it a shot on your phone.

I dont know if perhaps that post came off as condescending...but what is odd to me is that the OP asked about V6 tweak, and clearly has some limited knowledge about it, but chose to not read about it and instead wrote a one line post in a completely different forum.
OP should really do a quick xda search - so this way instead of pasting links for others we can test software and help debug/develop it - and maybe learn a new thing or two.

Then do yourself a favor.... Go back to stock, relock your bootloader and don't look back. If you've read the thread you would need to ask about it here. The first couple posts tell you everything and no one can answer your questions about it better than the dev. Yes, it will work with any android device. Some platforms have different things that need to be done than others (last I looked at it at least) and there are instructions and links for everything in the first few posts.

I've used it a bit. Here are the full steps to get it to work.
1. Find the thread that the dev created for it.
2. Read the instructions there.
3. Download the required files and apps.
4. Follow the instructions that you read in step 2.

*Edit* Come to think of it those are the instructions that I use for just about everything I find on XDA.

I've used the supercharger script on the aeroevan's unofficial CM9 rom and macrodroid's ArcticICSed rom with no issues.
Warning....., if you installed the AndyBones tweaks for the Arctic rom (or Tazz's 3.6 ICS) and then run the Supercharger script, you will end up with a blank wallpaper and a reflash is needed to fix it. The Supercharger script will modify your build.prop and init.d scripts (plus install a S99 script) will may conflict with the tweaks program (the Rosie tweaks in the tweaks program include modded winfree values which may be the cause of the conflict).

I hate bringing up an old topic but didn't want to clutter with a new post I'm running aeroeven cm10 does the v6 improve it much I've been reading the main thread and it seems like a lot of mixed emotions on it my thing is the rom I'm running is really smooth and only gets laggy when too many tasks are running a simple task killer fixes it so my question is what do you guys think of it is it worth it or not and is there any draw backs and what addons are you running with it as I saw a lot of options with it I would normally just go for it without asking but with all the options and my current schedule I don't have time to really test everything out

Has anyone used V6 SuperCharger with TSM UKB II 1.3.1 with success?
I know one of the files were patched to work with it, but couldn't find any word of users using it within the OP.

Can someone chime in that has used V6SC with the ROM in question?
Better yet... give me a "howto" for implementing it?
The V6 SuperCharger thread is pretty confusing for newcomers to that concept.
(note: I am not new to flashing and tweaking ROM's... been doing it for years :angel: )

Yes, it works. Just download the script and run it with Su using script manager (or if u want to go old school, use terminal)
