A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.

Sweet checking it out now guess I will have to dust my Xoom off, my galaxy note has been keeping me away from my Xoom.
Waiting for stingray version, will it drop tonight?

Goo is running very slowly today and will likely for the next few days, everyone and there mothers are posting new builds and a lot of devs use goo, so everyone, their moms x100+ and downloading new JB roms download to your PC for best results, very slow download speeds tend to timeout threw the goo app and threw mobile browsers,

All good mate. I appreciate the fact that it is worked on at all.
If you need a private tester let me know.
Also, I have a Leaseweb seedbox - happy to provide FTP space if that helps?
Just tried this. Booted up fine, still testing some stuff. Out of the bat, Youtube is missing from the Play Store for some reason.
Just installed it over milestone 6 AOKP, so didin't wipe. Flashed the latest gapps that was just posted from the dropbox link and everything seems to work brilliant.
Minor problem: but sometimes the icon names dissapear for no reason and come back later when opening the drawer. I'm using the latest Nova launcher, so that could be causing it. Very minor problem anyways. EDIT: yeah it's nova causing it. But that's expected from running ics apps on JB.
Awesome work anyways! Will report bugs iif I find some on the way...
EDIT: Voice commands work actually. It didn't at first but i think some app rebooted and now it works. EDIT: but it doesn't seem to stop when i'm done askng something. Weird.
And as reported above, youtube app is missing.
I seem to be having issues with installing this over the most recent ICS nightly. Do I need to factory restore? Don't mind doing it, just not sure if it will make the file open. Keep gettimg "E:Can't open /sdcard/Eos-wingray-2012-07-10.18.08-115.zip". MD5 sum checks out too.

Rename the zip to something shorter, like eos3-jb-n1.zip and try that.
Sometimes long filenames don't do so well.

Downloaded and all seems fine so far. Any chance we will get the Google now features like on the galaxy nexus?
Edit: calendar sync doesn't seem to work, and isn't an option in account settings
Just installed, and so far so good. Thanks to our amazing devs. For ****s sake, source code was just dropped last night and we already have a fully functioning ROM. Thanks again

Also a note on 3G/4G Xooms- You can infact flash and install this rom on 3G/4G xooms. You will not however be able to use the 3G/4G radio. There are new basebands that are needed in order for the 3G/4G radios to be able to communicate with the RIL and until these updated basebands are released we are in a holding pattern for radio connectivity.
Also there are sporadic reports of HDMI partly functioning. Full HDMI functionality is dependent on additional proprietary binaries that Google has not been able to release yet due to licensing issues.
Also, please note that while the current builds are proving to be very stable, and for users that do not use their cellular radio they can be used as a daily driver these are still nightly builds and are subject to constant development. If you find strange or otherwise unexplained errors logcats are greatly appreciated as it makes it much easier to track down issues.
Thank you all for your support!
*Updated G-Apps Package*
The developers working on CM9 have released an updated G-Apps package for 4.0.3 AOSP based builds
New version is 4.0.3 V8
A Special Thanks goes out to gpstar this G-Apps build
Download: http://www.multiupload.com/54DD4VIXZ6
MD5: 4a6a7543b025a17f9536eccc4e5afc17
*Note - Because of changes made to the G-Apps package a wipe will be required if installing this version of G-Apps over a previous G-Apps package in order to avoid FC issues. This version of G-Apps appears to address some of the communications issues that have been plaguing Google services on AOSP builds.
Bug Reporting:
As you test out the platform and you discover bugs please report them to:
https://bugs.teameos.org/
A couple of notes about bug reporting. If it is an application issue (IE a particular game generates FC errors) please do not report it. There is nothing that we can do about specific application issues.
If you do report an error please, Please, PLEASE include logcats showing the errors. It is often time difficult if not impossible to replicate errors and logcats make resolving issues much much easier. Please feel free to add the logcats as attachments to the bug report.

I can say from personal experience that this ICS Rom is working beautifully. Yes, there are a few bits missing but it's clear that this is taking the Xoom to another level, altogether.
Cudos to Team EOS for taking this step. I can't wait for the next nightly.

Since I have no idea what rom that is the answer is yes. The only time you do not need a wipe is if you are coming from a factory OTA. Generally speaking all custom roms will require a wipe prior to install.
Did you have to reflash gapps and also will the su root file from razorbladex's rom conflict with this rom because I'm supposing this comes with root I just wanted to know if the two root files would conflict?

That's the original Xoom ics rom posted a few days ago here on xda by member razorbladex.
Again, since I have no way of knowing anything about razorbladex's ICS rom as I have never flashed it my inclination is to tell you to wipe first to ensure there are no residual or unforeseen conflicts. With that said, what you choose to do is up to you.
When you flash a new rom /system gets overwritten which includes the su binary so this is a non-issue. This build includes the latest changes to the su binary.

Because you clearly have no cell network signal! Mine has it too. Give it a while: ICS roms are new and have yet to be extensively tweaked for little details like this.

Both play content. Navigating Netflix isn't the smoothest.
It's because these builds are essentially ready for 3G/4G connectivity. However for the time being the cellular radio icon will show regardless of if you have a stingray(3g/4g) or wingray(wifi) board. This will be addressed once we have the necessary components to bring life to the cellular radios.

We need YOU, yes YOU to help us build the best AOSP rom out there. Have an idea for a feature you want to see implemented then let us know!
Team EOS Feature Request
Changing the Stock Motorola Dual Core Boot Logo Splash Screen:
While not a necessary feature of the Team EOS ICS builds make sure you check out the Team EOS Motorola Xoom Boot splash utility in the Android Market:
EOS Motorola Xoom Boot Splash
Want to contribute to the Eos rom? Well you can!
Just follow http://teameos.org/?page_id=6 to checkout our source code, and information on how to submit changes for review.
Welcome to the XOOM evolved. Welcome to Team EOS.
NOTE: THIS IS FOR VERIZON 3G DEVICES ONLY. NOT DEVICES UPGRADED TO 4G
3G and Team Eos FTW!
My 3G is working perfectly and exactly as slow as I remember it!! Thanks Team Eos! Here are a few things I noticed through testing:
When connected to wifi, I still have a connection to the 3G network (data is not active, but the bars are showing at the same time as the wifi bars, which the honeycomb version never did).
When I open notifications, the wifi bars show a grey 3G logo on the upper left)
Ran speednet and got 1.8Mbps down and .8 up (not that I would think the ROM would affect speed much…)
Strangely, I did not have to go through activation - it just started working automatically after disconnecting wifi.
GMaps and location services for HD Widgets worked perfectly.
Even the My Verizon app logged in successfully and showed data usage
Torch worked - didn't notice that was fixed in wingray 37…
Probably more related to new 10.3 Gapps, but the flashing "Updating" arrow never goes away now unless I swipe it…
Awesome! Appreciate all the hard work you guys have been doing!
EDIT: Only issue seems to be the device isn't going into deep sleep (When in airplane mode). Everything else is working great!
I'm stuck into Tiamat Moray ROM for my MZ601 ...I'm asking if there's any Tiamat ROM based on ICS for my MZ601 3G ...any new? :"(

When I was still on 3G (before all the December ICS ROMs hit) I would always turn on airplane mode before turning on WiFi. Does that help your issue on this ROM?
retarded question here
So let me get this straight... MZ600 is OG Xoom with 3G only and what version is it after you have the 4G upgrade? Is it MZ602 then? Even better question since this is my unit OG Xoom with 4G upgreade uhm What rom is available from eos for me?

No we do not support SVN nor do we endorse it. You will need to download the entire rom.

MZ601/MZ603/MZ605 - Everest UMTS (GSM 3G) Models
MZ602 - Stingray Verizon LTE 4G Model
MZ604 - Wingray WiFi Model
You are looking for the MZ602 build
Ill just slide on in here for kix
Note: svn is generally used for non AOSP roms like modified Sense roms. However, if you wanna be a step ahead, I suggest syncing our repo.

Hey all you XoomBabys out there...
OK, I think we have all been stupid long enough. The time has come to start sharing some knowledge properly!
With the kind blessings of Team Eos I have created the Team Eos Xoom Wiki to support the Team Eos roms for the Wingray, Stingray and Stingray CDMA tablets from Motorola. The information here will be growing and changing pretty quickly, and best of all it will be generated by ALL OF US. All you need to do is come to the site and sign up as a Wiki User (dead simple and absolutely without cost) and then you can add your own thoughts, knowledge and tips to the Wiki to help out your fellow Xoomer.
Now we have a central source for the change logs for each build along with places for YOU to add your experiences and feedback. YES! YOU! YOU MATTER, KIDDO!
Thus far we have a page for the Nightly builds from each of the three device flavors and it is just DYING for you to come add your own experiences and issues with each Nightly. In addition we have a How To page (currently a bit drafty) for you to post your advice and guides...but this is just the beginning.
Find the Team Eos Xoom Wiki at http://eosxoom.pbworks.com
Come join the Wiki team TODAY and start adding your feedback. Remember however that your additions may be edited for speling and TONE, goddammit! XDA is a cruel, heartless wilderness of geekishness. We have to help one another if we are going to get out of here alive..or at least with some data minutes left.
Let's get to work, kids!
That URL again is...
http://eosxoom.pbworks.com
Love you guys. Much appreciation goes out to Team EOS. I haven't encountered any bugs yet, other than the wifi/3g icon which seems to be fixed in the latest nightly. Thanks for all the hard work! The Xoom community just wouldn't be the same without you guys.
can anyone post the vega sound so i can make it my notification sound on my iPhone ;D

Thanks for all your efforts!!!
People like me in Mexico are grateful for providing ICS on not-4G versions.
Team EOS XOOMJB 4.1.1 UMTS_EVEREST MZ601NIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.
For the latest news on Team EOS Xoom releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #xoom.

--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS.
Team EOS Xoom Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/umts_everest/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:

Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org
Kernel:
Tiamat ICS Xoom kernel
Support for OC;Under/Overvolt

Kernel Note: In compliance with GPL kernel source can be found at: https://github.com/solarnz/Tiamat-Xoom

These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery (Solarnz R4c, Rogue, Clockwork)
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS based rom.

He he I'm first
Edit: Damn missed it by a hair!
lets the fun flashing begin:good:
Thanks team EOS:victory:
This is great! Just did a Backup and will try flashing when I'm back from work!:good:
Thanks Team EOS!
I guess coming from the Win gray nightlies a simple wipe of cache and dalvik would do the trick?
@the impatient people, you got your 3G from amazingly fast, considering the lack of an MZ601 for team EOS! I myself am glad I had faith and didn't start panicking nor did I make a fool out of myself
@EOS, like stated above, amazingly fast job! I love you!
Works perfect so far, but i can't find google now? i flased gapps package
edit: found it....can access it via lockscreen
:good: Great ! Thank you so much... downloading now
just amazing work as usual. I'm gonna flash it right now!

Until now i've not discovered bugs that concern me...
I think that this build it's the copy of the MZ604 one, right? Without the 3g module, i mean.
But it is good, anyway, what is important is the official support from the team EOS! Thanks a lot!
I'll wait for some review from here and in few days i'll move from ICS to JB! Yep!!
P.S. I checked in commit list that lockscreen actions, power menus, etc are just included. Is it right?
Do this include update 07 radio? I'm currently on ICS build 81 and got 05 radio.
Anyway THANK YOU TEAM EOS!!!
Ah! only for EU..
Keep going guys.. Keep on going!
Thanks heaps @eos
Now all I need is to remember where I saved a copy of my telephony files??? I presume I adb push them the same way I did for ics?

I've some problem accessing the external sdcard.
Most of the software are not able to access it under /storage/sdcard1.
Google now give always a network error. I can download the offline voice only in english and German (Italian is missing)

Yes its Baseband Version N_01.100.07P
EDIT: Wiped everything and 3G is working great
Wiped cache and dalvik and then flashed over wingray jb and everything works fine. There is an icon for 3g connection but as it seems that part is not done yet.
Hope that EOS team is going to find a workaround for us with an MZ601 to get 3G working. Other than that it seems quite stable and usable with WiFi and I think
snappier than ICS rom.
Big thanks to EOS that keeping are XOOMs alive and updated with the latest versions of android.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Trying to download the GAPPS linked on the Carbon site but the download keeps failing.

Lte does not work. Also when trying to swipe the keyboard hides. Doesn't fc just hides. The back button seems not to work every time.
LTE works, you just need to restart the phone prior to setting up GAPPS.

I was going to try downloading from the app but get a 404 error. I had read a few days ago on Twitter that they are having to do some work to their servers because so many people are downloading the ROM. I wished I could help you out with a link I would like to try the newest myself.

So excited to see kitkat Carbon for my Galaxy Nexus. I downloaded the KK nightly toro, and did a factory reset, and a format / system but when I flash the rom I get an error:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed E: Error in /CARBON_KK NIGHTLY_20140207-0521-toro.zip (Status 7) Installation aborted.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I tried a different nightly, same error.
fortunately, restoring my nandroid worked, back to carbon jb
