My google play suddenly stopped to support any Tegra 3 related apps.
i can`t find any tegra 3 related apps at the store. also some apps that i already have installed, when i try to reinstall them at google play it shows up an error: "your device isn't compatible with this item".
I`m using ViperX 1.0.1 ROM with stock kernal. (i can`t post at viperx thread yet because some limit of 10 messages that`s why i`m posting here).

Well did you try to clear cache and data for the play app? I don't know that Rom but it's first where I would look for.
Settings - Apps - All - search play and clear cache clear data.
Then did you make any changes to the build prop?

Hi,
having installed InsertCoin ROM 1.1.4 on my HTC Desire, evrything works fine so far, except that the market on my Phone will now show fewer apps than before. When browsing the market from my PC, the missing apps will be displayed as being not compatible to my phone - while they have been before changing from the original ROM (which was FroYo...)
Examples are "Kinderanästhesie-Rechner" or "HandyTicket Deutschland" on the Market (sorry, as a new user I'm not permitted to post outside links)
Any ideasto fix this behaviour?
Try to clear data and cache from market in application settings.

Thanks for the hint, but that didn't do the trick. The apps are shown as incompatible in the web market after logging into my gmail-account and won't show up in a market search from the Desire's market.
sometimes SOME apps really dont show...

So you, mean it isn't because of the ROM? If I'm right...
you could also try "market enabler"
mybe when you switch to an alternative provider you can download
other thing could be that the "desire" is not supported, had this a few times -.-
you could try search the app in an alternative market, or download from the dev...
hope i could help
Thank you all for your replies, but the problem is, before changing ROMs, these apps were not shown as being incompatible. I'm not a pro, but I guess it somehow moght come down to the ROM.... same issue on my wife's phone, though, same model and same ROM.
maybe you can solve the problem if you change the build.prop
there is the build number, in some cases the market wont let you download if you dont have the right
but the current roms have mostly the "3.14.405.1 CL96875 release-keys" and thats the official gingerbread build number from htc
but if you change it to a froyo one maybe it gets better
the thing is i dont know if you can edit it on an flashed rom, if its posssible just in fastboot/recovery mode with adb
or if you edith it before flashing the rom
best wishes und ein fröhliches O'Zapft is!
Hi all
I have a weird problem here
I can not update "almost" any of my application on the new market 3.1.5
When I press on update it keep saying "Loading" without loading the page.
This happened with almost every application I have
The weird thing is that I can download and install new application !!!!!!!!!
I dont know what to do !??!!?!?!?!
Also I have notes that this market is slower than the older one, I dont know if this is normal
My Phone is Desire and I am on Cyanogenmod 7 Rom (Andriod 2.3.3)
Have you tried updating to the 3.1.6 market? I believe that has some bug fixes
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Will.....That is shocking
It seems that I have been away for centuries, coz this is the first time I heard that there are a new market version “3.1.6”
So could you pls tell me how to update to it ?!?!
As the last one I didn’t need to do anything actually, I only hit the market icon and it updates it self
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
I am also having the same problem's as you on my D3, DX and OD with different users and while using both wifi and 3g. The only permanent fix that I could come up with is freezing "market updater" with Titanium Backup and than uninstall updates for the market apps by doing this settings>applications>Manage applictions>Market>uninstall updates. It puts me back onto market ver. 2.3.6 (which works fine).
Yeah, the new market is slower than the old one. Reasong for this might be our phone's hardware. I recommend to go back to old 2.3.6 market. Works like a charm.
Hi all, need a lil bit of help please.
Rooted and ROM'd my WFS, using CM7.2.0 (2.3.7), kernel 2.6.35.13... all going well, except I cannot get Market running at all. Have searched thru forums as much as I can, no answer there so here I am...
I have d/l Market 3.1.5 & 3.3.11, get error msg "Sorry! The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I also added my gmail account manually in accounts, it tried to setup Market but got the same error message as above.
I'm out of ideas, anyone come across this orgot any ideas from here?
Many thanks,
Aaron

it has to work ... flash again ... and this will become my sentence : 'clean cache/dalvik and so on ....'
I had the same problem I solved it by dling gapps and then rebooting to cwm and installing gapps by selecting the install zip from sdcard....hope this works for you.

you can install Gapps from ROM Manager...there is a package with all google apps...
Can anyone help with the answers to these questions? I have searched but not found the answers.
1. There doesn't appear to be a changelog for the 29/09 gapps. What's different from the 26/07 version?
2. If I've already flashed the 26/07 version then can I just flash 29/09 over the top?
3. Won't the Play store just automatically update the apps to the latest anyway?
Thanks for reading...

Desire HD, Jellytime 17.1, Synergye's KangBang-Kernel v0.2. Stable, no black screens, no random reboots. Lovely.
1 The difference is simply that have been updated and optimized with the latest version of Android
2 Yes, there is no problem, new gapps will overwrite the old apps
3 Play store notifies you when updates are available, you can do them manually or automatically

I'm curious, why install google keyboard? Isn't it similar enough, feature wise, to the AOSP keyboard? In fact, aren't they the same? I think the google keyboard is for those stock devices that only have the manufacturers custom keyboard installed. You already have it installed on CM11, maybe that's why you're getting an error.

I don't think aosp and google kb are exactly the same.
plus, if it's showing as an update thru play and the error is coming, then not getting the newest fixes&features.
I would check to see that you don't have some version of it being installed by gapps being used or something. one that is themed maybe or customized will usually contain a different signature than the official one.
also, after you delete it and/or uninstall, reboot device before trying to install thru play.

Hey guys, id like to install the Google Keyboard because it has new features that i really like. It doesn not show as an update to the CM11 AOSP keyboard, it is a separete app.
Also restarting after uninstalling/moving the CM11 keyboard's .apk did not help
Any other suggestions on how to get the google apk installed?
Thanks
