[Q] Mildwild CM 4.6

This is a great ROM. I used v3.9 and 4.3.
I updated to 4.6 but I have issue with selecting the provider.
I live very closed to the border and I need to block my provider if I don't want to pay international communications. It worked fine in previous versions but on this one, I have a search error every time I try to search the available networks. It connect automatically to a foreign provider.
Does anyone have this issue?

Yes I did. Twice but same result.
it works on previous versions and on current oxygen v4.0 bur not Cyanogen 4.6

Some widgets won't work?
Hello there, I just installed the Mildwild CM 4.6.
Is there some "special way" to deal with widgets, since I've installed some of the widgets/apps I use (Google reader, Smooth calendar...) and they don't seem to work, I can't see them in "Widgets" menu?

MildWild is based on CM7, you can find themes for it on the market

I have seen in the forum that other experienced the same issue: unable to search mobile network, error message.
Any idea?

How can i change to other kernel? How i install diffrent kernel? i wish to try v6 supercharger and i don't know how to do it

Dialer problem
When i start a call, after i take the phone from my years (if the call it is over or if i have to change to speaker during call) the screen remain close, sometime i have to push PW button or trackball to wake , other time it completly block the phone, i have to take out the battery. Now i use MW4.6 but this happened to other version of MW. What could be the problem?
PS: Every version i install, always make full wipe.

Hi, just tried Mildwild CM 4.7 and the same issue remains. I don't know what happened between 4.3 and the following versions...

Thought I would explore other roms, really am enjoying features of this one. plenty of customization -halo, pie and others all built in

I installed it. Looks good at first sight.
I got following issues:
* The gapps 20140105 from http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Gapps don't work: After installing via CWM, a gapps installer is started which is immediately terminated. This happens in an endless loop.
* My app accessing the camera and putting an overlay has the wrong resolution. Also happens on other recent ROMs

I flashed gapps with philz touch (http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/p930) without any issues. I have had issues with TWRP and CWM, something to do with the kernel not being selinux I believe..
What app are you using with the camera ?

How is the performance of this rom.. I have flashed mokee versions but it's very slow.. I still on unofficial slimbeam.. For me is the best rom based on JB 4.2.2

I think it out performs mokee. I am using a different launcher though (Google's launcher). It is not perfect ,It is using the cm11 kernel so it is doing as well as that.. I am using it as my daily ROM.. Battery life is 24 hours or so.

Hey man im newly rooted on v10f gingerbread 2.3.6 and have just flashed CWM. i am wondering if i can simply jsut download and flash your rom straght from gingerbread? Or woujld I need to include any basebands with it to have service?

Straight flash should work.

A little unstable for me. Phone turns on by itself when phone is moved if phone is asleep for a while without touching the on/off button. BT issues but easy to reconnect (not automatically though).
Will try again after a few updates.

General permances are better than JB MIUI,I haven't tested whatsapp yet, I'll test it tomorrow, you know, now it is 00:27 in China and I have to go to bed.

I have installed coming from b512 and works great, the only flaw is that even if you set that also has the Spanish, this is false as the Spanish put the stays in English, but doing very well

I installed from the b512 which is the same as the B513, so I guess if you can

Runs great, no bugs that other re-packs had, like clock and Power manager crashing.

This Rom is very smooth, but Why I can not access internal storage?

You have to wipe it. Save your data first.

I am just curious, people having problem with Internal storage, what recovery are you using to flash? And what exactly is the problem accessing Internal storage?
In Settings under Storage there are Storage Options, where to store:
Gallery
Music
Video
They are all set to External storage.
Maybe you need to change that if you want to use Internal storage
Wanna try it?

I'm coming from B512 using TWRP recovery, already tried to set galerry,music,video to internal storage but still no luck...

[Q] Managing Partitions

Hi ! I recently installed CM12 on my Oppo Find 7 but it partitionned my internal storage against my wish. They are 2 partitions now, one of 100Mb, it constitutes the cache of my apps and it is too my default storage for download, pictures, etc... (Very small place for it..) And in the other hand, they are 26GB of free storages only for apps. Would know how to reunify both partitions ? My phone is rooted.

Yes, but do you know a tool to do it, i look for it since 2 days but nothing

1) CyanogenMod Roms do not support unified partitions!
Your phone was probably already unified before installing CM12, but it won't work properly if you leave it this way.
If you want to use CM roms, you must restore the original partitions on your Find 7 first.
2) To unify or de-unify your partitions :
LVM Partition remapping method
Unified Storage Layout method
3) Roms compatible with unified storage :

Thank you very much for your links, i'll study it ! But I don't understand.. My phone was with CM11 before and they was only one internal partition storage... Why did it do it with CM12 ?
I intalled CM12 twice to check up that it was not a mistake made by me.

Well, I was previously using CM11, until the dreadful day when my 3Gb apps partition got full...
I then used Coldbird's method to unify my internal partitions, and after the first reboot, CM11 was reporting something very similar to what you are experiencing right now.
However, everything was fine after wiping and installing a unified partition aware ROM on my phone.
Are you totally sure you were on CM11 before? Wasn't it a unified ROM "based" on CM11 instead? :silly:

I'm sure yes, i read that only nightlys have this particularity and i had the only one Snapshot stable (that's they said) of the list of CM ROM for the Find7

Well, I can assure you that flashing CM12 (or CM11) doesn't touch or mess with your partition layout.
Something else has done it, but i can't figure out what...

As of right now there are no stable builds of any aosp and/or cm build for the HTC 10. All are testing or are in the works.

This is a known issue. It is being worked on by the dev's for CM13 and therefore for roms like this one that use CM13 as a base.

I assume then, this has the current - no front camera, etc issues?
