problem with htc one x & keyboard htc ime mod - HTC One X

hello people help me please !!!
i use the htc x one and I have a problem with the keyboard htc mod ime, the keyboard is indeed very small, I used this keyboard with sony xperia xperia arc + 10 and the size was perfect, I do not understand with the htc one x keyboard is very small ... would you have an idea please?
look picture
i'm sorry my english is bad

The keyboard you're using is for a hdpi device, the hox is a xhdpi device, so extra large res. That htc ime mod wont work on hox, well it wont be practical...
It might be worth asking the developer of the mod if they can port it to larger xhdpi displays...

This is unfortunate because the htc ime is my favorite keyboard I hope y 'will soon be an update for the bigger screens ... thank you for your response

I'm really missing this phonepad and I was hoping that someone might be able to modify it, so it fits out lovely resolution.

That's a really great idea! It would be wonderful to have htc_ime on Sensation Could anyone please do it? I'd do it myself if only I could

You can use the Smart Keyboard Pro from the Market, which is basically the same thing as the HTC IME with multitouch and more options.
I'm using go! Keyboard which has the phonepad option and a few other nice touches, but it's not perfect. I find added words don't come up and I'm switching to QWERTY a lot more often than I needed to using HTC_ ime on my old phone.

The HTC rezound is 720p no? That would be a good place to start if it has htcime.

In case anyone still watches this thread, the problems with go! Keyboard seem completely ironed out, not sure if it was an update to the keyboard or the 4.04 update but phone pad mode works wonderfully now, in all applications :-D

[Q] HTC Keyboard Question

Hi all
Yes, you read the subject right
I'm about to sell my HTC Sensation and I ordered my Xperia Arc S today. One of the only things I expect to miss about the Sensation is the HTC keyboard.
Can anyone recommend a good app that will give me the kind of improved functionality over the standard Android keyboard that HTC Sense provides?
I can end up trying myself when the Arc S arrives in a few days, but I'm just excited in the meantime
Thanks all,
schnide
I'm using htc ime mod app.
That's a bit older app without of arrows and swipe gestures but works very well.
You need two lib files and two apks (clicker hi and keyb).
I use stock looking (unthemed).

HTC ime for Galaxy Nexuz (720p display)

Do someone know if HTC keyboard from Rezound or One X have been "exported" from Sense to install them on other phones?
The because is that HTC Ime i found are not working on Galaxy Nexus, i think the cause.is the 720p display that is not supported by older HTC keyboard.
Do someone know more than me?
Or maybe they don't work because the galaxy nexus doesn't use the sense framework?

Previous HTC_IME on Sense ROMs worked on non-Sense ROMs. It just requires a little bit retweaking but it shouldn't be too difficult to do. Not saying that I'd do it because I don't know how. But I just know that on previous versions of Android HTC_IME works.
HTC_IME
If you want to try porting guys here is the HTC_IME extracted from my one x.
jonasl's HTC_IME Keyboard for ICS works great for me. The only problem is the keyboard is low res. It looks a little blurred but it's full size. I tried replacing the pngs with some from the htc rezound which should be 720p but I'm a noob and it just crashes. I'm sure I have to edit some config files somewhere... I'll keep trying but here's jonasl's apk. Perhaps I'll try the ones from the one x.
any luck with your attempt at replacing pngs?!
Yes, I would love to get a working version of the current HTC OneX IME keyboard. Please make this happen.
Count me in. First thing, I was thinking about, when I held the One X in my hands.

In the original jonasl's file the voice button does not work. Pressed and does nothing.
Any hi-res HTC IME?

Thanks. I want the One X keyboard ported to any 720p Android.
Bumppppppppp
You realize that any keyboard from the one x and rezound are already completely 720p? That's not the problem, the gnex isn't the only 720p phone out there. It's not working because sense is a ***** when it comes to porting anything from it to aosp. It requires a lot more work than I think most people would be willing to do. But it sure is awesome keyboard, and I would love it on both my phones when I get a gnex. Typing with it right now...well, swyping with it actually.

Those who are really interested, I've tried it out already on my Galaxy Nexus, HD just that removed it cause I dislike the arrows on the bottem and the space bar being so small, hopefully the author or someone else can have more settings to remove certain things on the keyboard.

I also tried this one a little while back and it's awesome but it would not let me change to the compact keyboard style which I like on the older HTC ime keyboard. The one with two letters on each key. Maybe I did something wrong or that feature has been removed but I will try it again, thanks.
Edit: it's the same one I tried before and it's awesome but it doesn't have the option for the compact keyboard. Thanks anyways.

[Q]Key board lag ?

hi guys is any one like me having keyboard lag when typing on facebook or whatsapp or im+...etc
its like not very responsive iv tried so many keyboard on my one x (sense keyboard- ics keyboard-swift key-etc...)
i type fast alot and it seems that its typing slow idont know why ( and i have tried alot of roms all of them are the same (like arhd - viper- leedroid ) they all did the same thing
on my galaxy s2 and my brother sgs3 the keyboards on it doesnt delay at all is this a Known problem on the htc one x ?
any possible way to fix it ?
thanks alot in advance guys waiting for ur replays
I noticed the same thing and my conclusion is it's because of Sense.
Flash an AOSP Rom and you'll see how fast and responsive the native AOSP keyboard is.
Works fine here
Sent from my iPad 2 using Tapatalk
in theory if you disable the vibration feedback of the keyboard it will make it more responsive because it will use less resources when you type.
hope i helped.
Also make sure you go in display and disable 3 finger gestures. This might help.

Sense Keyboard to AOSP?

is it possible? i really like the Sense keys at the same time i like the jellytime rom. is it possible to replace the AOSP keys with the sense keyboard in an AOSP rom?
thank you.
I too like the sense keyboard, but there is no port for jb. ICS has it though

I also like the sense keyboard.. Maybe there may be something similar at Google Play?
any possible solution?
There was an old IME you could use in an old GB ROM (BlackICE)
If I have a copy lying around I'll upload it.
Kii Keyboard works well too
AOSP will not support HTC IME because it is based on sense components. You can try Jonasl modded keyboard or smart keyboard pro.
