Any spot a transparent case for our phones?

I want to get a case for this phone but I'm not feeling the black and blue look that seems to be the option I've seen. Since I doubt we'll see a case that can match the color blue I was wondering if anyone has spotted a transparent one.

If you're looking for a clear case, you really have 2 options:
- Plastic
- TPU
The plastic options out there are endless. As you already saw on ebay, there are a plethora of manufacturers who crank these out that you can get for dirt cheap. In my experience though, as with anything in life, you get what you pay for. They usually add a good deal of bulk and scratch pretty easily. Also, consider these "single use". Drop them once and they're pretty much done
TPU cases are a great option. You can usually get these for pretty cheap as well and add less bulk than plastic. But I usually find that the "clear" options are more semi-transparent rather than completely see-through and have a frosted look. If you have the white GSIII, it'll look perfect but i imagine that it won't look so great on the pebble blue (which is what i have). Another downside of "clear" TPU is that they pick up dyes from fabrics very easily. If you wear jeans everyday like I do, after about a month or so you'll see the case slowly start to stain blue.

A little pricey for a plastic shell but it seemed to minimize bulk and will look good with the pebble blue version

I feel dumb now. I guess when I had done the search for cases I put specifically for the t999 and forgot they were all compatible with each other.the only ones that kept popping up were black ones. Thank you for the help guys. Just ordered ones of the tpu cases

I had that exact same case for my GSII.
I loved the textured side grips and the unique S wave in the back. My only small gripe was that it was a little bulkier than other TPU chases I've had. Overall, I'm sure you'll be happy

[Q] Best sgs3 case

Hey guys I am a nood to android devices i have had my tmobile sgs3 for about 2 weeks and love it i was wondering what is the best thin case for the phone. one that wont add bulk and still keep the slim feel if you have a links to one that would be great thanks.

I use the official case from Samsung. It's blue, adds no bulk, and covers headphone & usb port.

I use a sunglass bag. I had to get a replacement for my sunglasses and ordered 12 on Amazon. I didn't know what to do with them all!

I thought the samsung flip case doesn't cover the top and bottom? It's basically a back cover that's connect to a flip cover that covers the front...

i love the flip cover but i have Hyperion 4000mah battery so it wont fit

I'm a big fan of the Otterbox Defender. I'm fine with added bulk, since I don't have girly hands

I just picked up one fo these off Amazon (currently enroute).

I bought the Verizon case that has a slide out kickstand so you can watch movies, its slim doesn't protect it all the way around but has a holster, since i'm not one to drop my phone

It doesn't add any bulk and the kickstand is pretty nice. I've actually dropped it once, but it was from around 2-3 feet. It fell on the screen side, nothing broke, though.

I've got the ghost armor. Wouldn't really protect you from a drop, but keeps the scratches off or covers the ones you already got.

It's amazing, very light and thin. Doesn't add bulk at all. Plus there are tons of colors to choose from.

Nilkin Cases Love these look awesome

I have these on my Nexus 4 and they rock feel and look awesome. Just order them for my HTC one. will report back. Usually about 1 or 2 weeks shipping.

Look for pictures - in short yes the IR is fine.
It does not cover the whole phone. Back and sides. Top has a small notch for headphones trimmed out and bottom is open.
Most of these type of cases will always be that way. I think the POETIC case apparently had this issue.
How do you design a case and knowing all the specs and you forget about the IR ?

Nice case! I'm still hunting down the perfect case; meanwhile I've just ordered a cheap transparent case for about £3.
I'm tempted by the Nilkin, but the fact that it doesn't protect the top and bottom is a bit off-putting.
Something like the double-dip hard case would be great for me, but I'm just not keen on the colours they used.
I rather like the look of the Urban Armor Gear cases though. I just wish they had it in this colour.

i am unsure about the looks of the back... you think taking the phone out of this would hurt it if done a lot?

It is, very silky smooth on the sides.

Definitely less slippery than the phone would be on its own.

I've yet to get my HTC One but my Nillkin case has arrived and yes, it is true that the case is slippery. It feels like powder on paper less the powder of course. It's that kind of slippery.

The sides of the Nillkin are the smooth rubbery coating like you would find on the back of some of HTC's older phones (ie S710). The back is textured with a pattern, so it isn't the same feeling as the sides. I would say it's definitely less slippery than the phone naked.

Bear Motion Cases

Anyone have any experience with Bear Motion cases? I hadn't heard of them before...

I got the blue one a few days ago.
It's a really good case, as good as the Incipio feather cases. The texture on it is very grippy, the only thing it's missing is a hole for the dimple.

Yup, that's it. I would say the blue looks darker than the amazon pic in real life.

They are OK. One I had for the HTC One just cracked one day. cheap but feel decent.

what kind of material is the case? Is it a hard or soft plastic? TPU?

Does the dimple really matter? I have never put my finger on the famous dimple when holding my phone.

i have the unbranded one. it's pretty much perfect.

I bought the wife a Bear Motion Premium Double Protection PC + TPU Case from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EC2QKYC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the rubber seems a little thin but over all great performance in the first week.

Looks similar but yours is only the plastic part? Mine was two pieces. One rubber and one plastic.

WOW! i love it. hardly feels like i have a case on this phone. really does a great job at retaining the slim factor of the phone. why can't they make more cases like these??

I purchased 3 of the Bear Motion cases. Black, gray and blue. I really love the sleekness of the case but I wish they would have more of a lip on the screen side.
The other problem that I see is that the upper right hand corner could have a better fit. The blue case that I received will eventually "pop" out of that corner.

Spigen Slim Armor, tons of photos and review

I have been using this case for a day now and I'm impressed. The fitment is perfect and I love the color combo. The buttons for volume and power work great, they are really easy to press and are responsive. The cut outs for speakers, USB and headphone are perfect. The case is a little more white than the phone and has a mat finish similar to the white Nexus. I will let the photos do the speaking. Sorry for all the lint of the phone.

Actually all those complaints are directed towards the Ultra Hybrid model not this Slim Armor model. That one has a clear back and slightly heavier then this slim armor.
There's also the Ultra Fit and Neo Hybrid which I'd love to see in action as well.

Just ordered this! My phone should be here before this is, but thanks for the review. I had used a Incipio case with my Galaxy S3 and that was also a dual case, the soft part and hard backing. This however seems to be a lot better. Thanks for the pictures. :good:

How's the rubber on it? Is it tight and not very stretchy? Does it fit well into pockets without snagging?

Haven't tried it in the pocket yet. Sends very well built and sturdy. Girlfriend has one for the S4 and it fits wonderfully

I don't really see how this one could. It's also relatively stiff. I've had commuters for a few phones and never had a problem. Any that have stretched in the past from different companies I've had replaced at no charge

I can't speak to that on the N5 yet, but I will say they are thin. The one on my girlfriends S4 adds very little bulk and actually seems to make the phone feel better in the hand

My power button was stuck down too
Returned it and ordered a new
Hope the next one works better. I'll post my results

Just checked the status of mine and it's in transit to my apt! Should be there when I get home from work. Looking forward to this - i've had my phone naked for 3 days now and I've had to be super careful with it

Yeah, I have the black Slim Armor. It's awesome. I did too have the problem initially with the power button being stuck, but I took the case off a few times and put it back on. Now it's perfect. To be fair, tho, only a slight tap is necessary to hit any of the buttons...they really are that easy to push and activate.
