Something stopped working after you flashed a mod that was working previous to the mod?
Might it be the mod you installed?
Reinstalled and now no problem.

Galaxy S3 rooted, need Wi-Fi tethering advice
I'm a new & proud owner of this phone, and thanks to advice found on this website, owner of a rooted S3 in less than 30 minutes. But I've been trying all the suggestions for setting up a Wi-Fi tether to little avail.
I just downloaded & installed the mod version that was the last suggestion made. It installed fine, and actually shows up as a SSID but I cannot get my laptop or my old EVO 4G phone to actually connect to it. I left the settings on default, other than changing the password of course.
Any suggestions or hints?
Lee
Link that I have posted, still working and my S3 is working with tether app. I have been using my laptop and other devicec without any issue.

I'm running the PAC Man rom, and I was trying to find a file in CM's file manager. I searched for the file, and then my phone crashed and restarted. Now, the homescreen and the app drawer are extremely small. Help please?

Try doing a dirty flash of the ROM again without wiping anything

What do you mean by dirty flash?

Wipe dalvik cache and cache then flash the ROM again.
Thanks, that worked. But now, Google Play was uninstalled from my phone... Also, my WiFi signal bar shows blank, even though I'm connected.

I had similar issues with pac rom
I tried the new Jedi Mind Trick JB 2.1
phone has never worked so smooth and perfectly
even MHL HDMI output works and Bluetooth mouse and Keyboard
both didn't work with pac rom either
hoped this helps m8
That doesn't really answer my question. I would like to try to fix this before I switch ROMs.

You have to flash Gapps after dirty flashing the ROM. Sorry I didn't make that clear. I don't know why your WiFi bars are blank.
I got the store back, but the WiFi is still blank.

3. click install inside xposed app, reboot
4. check multi window module inside exposed app and reboot again

Sorry, i am probably missing something very obvious here, but can someone tell me how to work this? I installed the mod, but how do you actually split apps?
P. S. Nevermind, figured it out!

Works on stock with root. Now I can actually use that feature. Thanks to the DEVs and for posting.
Just a heads up, this seems to break the s health app. When I installed this mod, s health would crash whenever I tried to start it

How did you get the apps to stick? When you uncheck the module and reboot, it returns the list to the way it was originally.

You should now be able to add all apps to the multi Window. Try to add xda to it. If it works then your all good

I have flashed different roms but still won't come on. Currently using stock rom
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using xda app-developers app
Some ROMs will have an option that won't allow it to work if battery is low... Just a thought. But does it work at all? As in flashlight or flash for camera? Is it you use it once then it won't work again? Just not 100% on when your issue is
