Which update? I don't think you should expect any news of updates beyond 4.0.4 before Google io at the end of the month.

WTF are you talking about???
From all the latest news and leaks going on, I suspect we will see Android 4.1 announces at Google I/O at the end of June and at that point expect to see an announcement as to when our device might get it.

I'm sure we'll see it previewed and talked about at Google I/O, but I'd be extremely surprised if it was released at I/O. They wouldn't do it unless they were also launching a device with it, which we've seen the last 2 years as being at the end of the year (Google has indicated this as their plan).
this morning http://groups.google.com/group/android-building/browse_thread/thread/7eb2d2b0473cb54?hl=en
but they arent real updates, just revisions.

For completeness, I've pushed the source code for IMM76K and IMM76L in AOSP. They're marked as android-4.0.4_r2 and android-4.0.4_r2.1. The differences from previous versions of 4.0.4 are minimal.

The Galaxy Nexus phones I bought of Google Play all got the 4.1.2 update... but the freebie phone I got when I attended Google IO still hasn't. Are the updates still rolling out or is something wrong here? Keep checking, but it never finds an update.

If I have to flash it, eventually I will. I wanted to keep this as my stock dev device for development and would've expected that the devices given to the developers at Google IO wouldn't be receiving the updates late... assuming that this thing will get an update at sometime in the future. Very surprising since I would've thought the phones handed to devs, if any, should be first in line to receive updates, unless something has gone wrong with my update.

Sorry to hear it. I fully agree but I think Google view is that it is a dev device so you can update with the 4.1.2 firmware currently available. Send Google an email and see what they say.

Well, I called Samsung and they said it was the carrier's responsibility. Uh, what carrier? This is a GSM phone that's not from T-Mobile. Weird, I figure their staff just can't handle the question. I get the number for their "expert" support. He says to talk to Google.
I hunt the contact number for Google devices and get a nice guy who has me turn on airplane mode, then turn on wifi. Then clear data for Google app services. Check the about settings, last update check was in 1969. <sigh>, yes, I've done this, but I'll try again. No update found.
He said that it was strange. The update should've been pushed out to it by now and something was wrong, but couldn't help. The only thing left to do was to ship it to Samsung and have them flash the ROM on it.
Forget that, I gave up and I flashed the 4.1.2 factory image myself. I guess I could've saved myself some time by doing it in the first place, but I'm still curious and would like to know why I got the 4.1.1 OTA but 4.1.2 didn't work. Weird.
FYI, my IO nexus just got the update to 4.1.2 today, almost a full month after it started rolling out.
You might as well update using the links in this thread.

A few people now have reported buying brand new GS3s from AT&T and them coming with this build so this is not some leak or internal build. Worst case they will have an OTA from LI5 to whatever future build there is.
And no sadly this isn't Jellybean.

I believe it is more of an abandoned build that they decided not to push ota due to the upcoming release of jb. Information was leaked yesterday that 4.1.2 is ready to be released next week.

I doubt that given phones in stores have it and Samsung put it on a phone that was sent to them for repair. I think we'll get UCLI5 and then some UCLJ build that's Jellybean. Let's see who's right.

I find it very odd that they would release it on new phones without releasing an update for all phones. Or at least some mention of its existence. But then again this is my first AT&T phone so I don't really know how they operate.

This should have been in the JB rumor post.
I don't trust customer service reps when it comes to receiving accurate update information. Just for the hell of it, I chatted with a rep regarding the status of this rumored update. The chat transcript is below. And yes, this should have definitely been posted in the JB rumor thread.
Please wait for a chat representative to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Jennifer Cook'
Jennifer Cook: Hello and welcome! Thank you for using AT&T Wireless Online Support Chat for Technical Support!
kgbkny: Good morning
kgbkny: Would you be able to tell me if there is any validity to the reports of AT&T releasing the Jellybean (Android 4.1) update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 this week?
Jennifer Cook: The last software that was released for the Galaxy SIII was 09/18/2012 and 07/12/2012. We do not have the information as of yet, about the release date of the Jellybean software for that phone.
Jennifer Cook: When it is available for your phone, you will receive an alert on the phone.
kgbkny: Thank you. That's all I needed to know.

Unless its released in December, it won't be LJ anything. Those are date codes from the build of the software. UCLJ would be an October build. UCLI is a September build (L is the 12th letter, for 2012, I is the 9th letter for the 9th month September and the letter after it is the date of the month it was built. UCLI5 was built Sept 5th 2012.

I'd be very surprised if ATT released 4.3 before the i9300 got it... Usually there is about a 6 month or more difference between the i9300 and the US s3's in terms of updates.

If at all. I have a feeling ATT is done providing updates for this phone. And if they do throw one more at us, it wont be 4.3 cuz they just don't keep them updated that close to what the actual current version is. Prolly 4.2 will be the last if any at all. I hope I'm wrong, but their track record does speak for itself.

Both of these reference the i9300 (i9305), not our phone...
The first article is supposedly an insider tip from a Deutsche Telekom employee: "The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 have been rumored to skip the Android 4.2.2 and get Google’s latest Android update instead, although Samsung is yet to confirm it. An Australian carrier (Telstra), answering to questions about the Galaxy Note 2 updates, has also hinted that the device will go straight to Android 4.3"
The second article also mentions the same DT employee and is talking about the i9300 for DT networks.
Your 1st comment said Samsung confirmed it and they have not.

This, we know. What I'm trying to explain to everyone in another thread is that support for the US variants died after the release of 4.1.2
We should consider ourselves lucky if we get 4.3 (officially) at any point.
Samsung doesn't need to confirm anything that the US carriers choose to do with the 4.2/4.3 source code (if they ever do get it). I'm still convinced that carriers are only interested in selling new flagship devices.

I agree with your last sentence - it's almost criminal the way US carriers act towards this.
It wuold be awesome if AT&T release the update promptly, but, I think it's gonna have to wait.
I mean, we were the last ones to get the premium suite :C

^^^This is the joke of the day.
I'm now getting bored of the Premium Suite as I thought that I would have wanted all those fancy features when they first release.
Now, I'm trying to find a stock AOSP 4.3 ROM to flash. My only reason for staying with this is the fact that I need to use Samsung KIES as I'm a MAC user and have no other way of using MTP to transfer files to my device.
