[9001]AOSP Lockscreen

I made a AOSP lockscreen for deodexed xxkps firmware
changelog:
1. automatic mounting works now !!!
2. removed the menu button unlock feature (bug) - thx realneph

How-To:
1.download lockscreen
2.place it at sdcard
3.install it with feamod recovery
4.reboot and enjoy it ;D

In Cranium Rom is a second slider below the normal ones (just grahical bug doesnt influence anithing)

It's exactly what I was looking for. What is the impact if I try to install it on XXKPG on a non deodexed rom ?
I know, it makes surely a lot of differences .... but with a little part of luck ....

You cant install this version with a non deodexed rom it will cause a bootloop or nothing changes
but i will make one for odexed roms soon

Or you could make sure you've done a nandroid backup. And then... I'm totally unsure about this, but anyway. You could manually delete your android.policy.odex file. I guess you'll get one hell of a force-close but after that enter to recovery and install the file. AFAIK it could work as removing the odex is pretty much same as deodexing the android.policy.jar file. If you end up in a bootloop, you can just restore your backup.

It might not be enforced with the new Mod team but basically, they didn't want noobs reviving 3 year old threads to say "job well done" or give their bug reports on old ass roms lol

[MOD][CWM][SCRIPT]Reodex your ROM and be faster

This CWM script will reodex any Samsung stock-based ROM - any custom ROM that is.
Additionally, with BOOTCLASSPATH edit in dexo.sh it can work on any ROM and phone.
Reodexing gives some people perceivable speed up. And it frees data partition from system dalvik cache. So dalvik-cache rebuild is also accelerated.
I ran it with stock kernel (root injected). And had problems with running it on any custom kernel.

I'm not sure why you'd need deodex on the fly.
Wanam has a good guide on deodexing stock ROMs.
Odexing is on the other hand is relatively new and fancy way of speeding up.

Mount part of the script updated. Now system is properly mounted.
On a side note - CM9 with Theme Manager and applied themes reverts odexing back. Figures. Pick your poison - odexing or theming.

Will this work with miui??

If there is Theme Manager - then odexing won't work.

Backup. Update bootclasspath and try. It should work on any stock based ROM.

ive tried reodexing.. how will i know if im successful?
i checked out the /system/app/ - still no *.odex files?
i already changed the $BOOTCLASSPATH
did i miss something out?

You need a unlocked bootloadervia htc dev/Rooted And Preferably S-OFF.
Installation of Build 1 :
1.Copy rom to sd card And make a backup
2.Factory data reset/wipedalvick/Wipe Cche and system /and flash rom .

nothing change, it was the same as based, not themed or anything like that, it just took me to aroma, then installed in like 5 secs

I am having the same problem ..

The link for the download asks you to sign into media fire. Dont really want to make an account, do you have a different link?

Keep getting Unfortunately, HTC sense has stopped. I came from Bonestock 2.0.1 Cannot get passed that error. Clean install with wipes

the link has some extra stuff, you can remove the characters and download the ROM, which is AMAZING from what I was able to see, although I get a F/C upon completing the setupwizard and can't get to home screen.
