custom contact ringtone help.

I have the latest cyanogen rom with the gingerbread theme.. The problem is i cant set custom ringtones for contacts. it defaults to the default ringtone. Anyone else having this problem? and is there a work around?

Hmm i guess no one else has this problem or no one knows how to fix it?

Well, I am not using myTouch 3G - but I have a similar issue running an actual build of Gingerbread on an HTC Desire.

[Q] MIUI - SMS shows sent time instead of received

I was wondering if it was possible to have a similar hack for the MIUI roms? I know in Sense ROMs it shows the sent time, but MIUI doesn't, I think..
I don't know if it's a big ask, but thought I'd see if anyone knows how to get this done

It already has this feature built in, you can find it at the bottom of the SMS app's settings menu.

[Q] Question about Sabsa Prime v11.0

Good ROM, cons, I wanted to know how to:
Add / Remove screen (this was possible with Sense 3.5)
Switch screen in a loop (this was possible from Sense 3.0)
Have shortcuts on the lock screen, the number of SMS / Call are visible although the shortcuts located in the dock, but not when the same shortcuts on the lock screen.

About adding/removing homescreen, you can't add or remove homescreens. I think it's a bug of fallout tweaks, or rosie maybe. Maybe you should download launchers, this can fix your adding/removing homescreen problems

Since the topic title was fitting, I take a chance at borrowing this thread and asking my question here. Hope OP don't mind! :highfive:
- I wished to ask in the roms own tread, but I don't have the necessary 10 post yet.
I'm having some issues connecting to my WiFi at home after changing to Sabsa Prime v11.0. With Stock Rom and any of the AOSP/AOKP-Roms I have tried there is no problem. Connecting to my neighbors WiFi works, so WiFi is operational.
Any hint on things I can do to rectify this problem?
I'm thinking about trying another RIL, but I'm uncertain if that will help.
Anyone have any ideas?

Skip track mod for twiz 4.1.2?

Is there any way to enable the skip track while screen off on any of the 4.1.2 roms? I've tried xposed with tweakbox and it didnt work.....i've searched each roms thread to no avail....any help or guidance would be awesome TIA

what music player are you using ?? some have the options in settings

mostly pandora which doesnt have the settings.....
something changed from 4.1.2 ....

every post i read when someone asks about the skip track mod in the respective roms threads it never gets answered...
i tried a couple of other modules but i get parsing errors possibly since the modules are for other devices i think

i know pandora works on stock touchwiz if you have the widget enabled you will be able to see the skip, pause, like track,this is what i can come up with for you right now but as far as the volume its tough since its a third party app and not actually a Samsung /galaxy app you know ...

VenonRom - All Custom Settings Disappeared (sound, notification color, and function)

Hi all,
So this week I noticed that my color theme, my custom sounds, etc had all disappeared. Meaning I rebooted and when I came back things like my sounds and color theme were no longer the same. The screens and icons were ok. I recall last week getting some dub prompt from HTC about fall themes but I remember clicking no.
My question is anyone have any idea if the HTC theme is what caused the change and if it did anyway to roll it back?
I am running the VenomRom and I even had set my home key to double tap and launch the sidebar and even that function got erased.

You might want to ask that question in the dedicated rom thread. Your chances of getting a reply of one of the maintainer/devs/testers is higher there. Most of the time devs never visit the Q&A section.

In theory that is correct. However, some dev teams use their threads more as support threads than actual development threads.
