Ordered one from Amazon last night, should be here in a couple of days. Been happy with the 2500mah version, will be interesting to see if there is any difference. Will post back after testing.

Thanks, as I'd personally like to see how the battery performs. I have heard of people purchasing larger batteries and have actually received worse results than the stock battery offers, which is rather odd in my opinion. But, from what I have read, Anker produce some quality products so I have high hopes for this battery. I'd ideally like an even larger battery, but then the added weight becomes ridiculous or pricing becomes too much for me to afford.
I've had Anker batteries for other devices and they've been ace, not got round to ordering one for the Note myself yet, but I will do.

Shame that they don't do a slightly larger battery. What is a nice sized battery for the Galaxy Note with regards to battery life, portability/weight factors and recharge time?
What is the largest battery available for the Galaxy Note?

I don't trust about other internal battery. I use external battery in other case. While my life battery is 20 hours in 3g.
I have the Mugen 5400 battery and I truly cannot fault it. More than double the capacity of stock and it shows in my daily usage. Build quality also to notch. Yes their prices are steep but you get what you pay for and their customer service is excellent.

I bought 2 for a total of $16 and they work great. I also bought a 3 dollar charger (800mah) that charges them in a about six hours. The ankers charge fine inthe phone an have all the attributes of the oem battery
I've been using Anker batteries for about 3 weeks now and they work great. They last just slightly longer than the stock battery and charge efficiently. I would recommend them to people that are always on the go and can't always get a place to charge their phones. I charge one battery by itself and one in the phone at night, and the next day I am able to swap when the first battery drains. Also there's a peace of mind with having a fully-charged battery always available.

Hi everybody,
I have been searching for this Anker battery on German Amazon, and I have found out that there is a 2800mah Anker battery for this phone. Stock size.
You can see the link here
It's not much more expensive, and if it really was a 2800mah battery than it would be great.
Does anyone know anything about it? Do you think it's just a 2700mah one with a fake sticker on it?
Let me know your thoughts.
I got the 2700mAH battery from Amazon. So far it has been slightly better capacity than the original and no problems. Good value at £7.99.

Hey guys browseing Amazon or GS2 accessories and I came across the Anker 1900mAh battery.
Now ive had the Anker 1900 on the Sensation and its legit a beast of a battery with extra juice, anyone used this for the GS2?
why not just wait a few weeks and buy the proper 2000mah battery??
iam sure samsung would have made a battery this size if possible rather then build extra back covers due to the 2000mah battery they have designed
basically i dont think anker could squeeze another 300mah into the battery at no extra size , its probably not what it says it is and i would go the official route , i have found all these cheap batterys to be useless in my times of owning mobile phones
to sum it up just buy the offical 2000mah battery from samsung or the bigger one from mugen if you want better battery life
look for anker 2300maH on ebay for $12-14 . buy it and make a review
tempted!
im very tempted. amazon uk has an offer for 2 and dockcharger and travel charger for £13. Even if its 80% of original battery i would be happy. But seems like a new release..not 1 review...
I would get the official samsung one but i have the perfect a leather, carbon fibre cases. would it fit in there? i don;t know...will i find an equivalent case that fits it...i don't no. If only if they had a demo version with new battery in a highstreet store i could try putting my case on,
ohh this make has had some reviews from same phone and different phones

Eug measured the capacity one of the spider foot batteries as 2413 mAh.
Even though it is well under the stated rating there is nothing that touches it for value. USD $10 for a 2413 mAh battery is a fantastic deal.

My experience will be subjective, but I've been using 1900mah Anker batteries for the last 2 weeks. They are OK. With original battery I get 12-13 hours when everything ON! With Anker approximately 16-17 hours.

But one is MUCH cheaper than the other... Man, $100 on a battery is not something I'm willing to spend.
I've been using a generic ($10) 5000 mAh one last weekend, during a trip to the beach. It was enough to be sure to last all day even when using the phone a lot (maps, taking pictures, looking up adresses, reading, whatsapp...)
The one by Seidio is VERY good, it last double than the original as it is expected...
Thou shalt not defile the appearance of their note with an extended battery.
i purchased 2 of those batteries they sell as oem batteries instead of buying an extended battery. I love the shape , lightness and slimness of my sexy gnote so i couldnt bare to ruin it. So easy to carry the batteries around and replacing them is a piece of cake. You don't have to wait for the phone in plug to be fully charged as well. So u can buy a cheap charging device which is also very light and portable and leave the spare battery on charge when u are on the go with ur gnote. One of the replacement batteries do perform as great as the oem one that comes with the note itself but the other one sucks. With using problematic one i have weird random lines on my screen which i suspect is because of wrong voltage. I bought these batteries from two different sellers.
Sorry. God doesn't recommend on the battery.

For my old phone, I had really a low battery and I never had a chance to charge it. I bought an extra battery, but i still had a low battery problem since the original one was almost dying. I had to buy an portable battery functions as extended battery. I used it all the time until i got a new phone. Not sure if you need a battery for galaxy s3 for now. How about you start by telling us where you go these batteries? As for NFC, it stands for Near Field Communications. It can be used in a way to pay for items, or bumping phones together to share information, such as pictures, contacts, etc. I am not a fan of it, I always have it turned off in my phone settings.

mAh has nothing to do with the amount of current or voltage so I don't know what you mean by manufacturers having large tolerances?? And it wouldn't be detrimental, it would add to your battery life. (as long as the mAh claims are accurate)

too good to be true
hey i just made some fast research on the seller of the item
i cant link the url apparently because i jus made the account but go ahead and check the ebay sellers' (utigertech) feedback. They are not good.
in short, this battery is fake and some user feedback states that it does not last even longer than the stock 2100mah samsung oem battery
so dont be fooled. If its too good to be true then its probably too good to be true

Testing of MPJ 3200mah Battery for S3
I have purchased one of the MPJ 3200 mah batteries for the Galaxy S3. I have bench tested the battery over 7 days with multiple charges and discharges.
The results are that the battery is approximately 2000 mah it does not even come close to 3200 mah. The sellor is being misleading on the mah and you are better off buying a standard battery as it has 2100 mah and NFC.
I will try and test a few more batteries in the next couple of weeks..

I'm at work and I got a customer that just asked me about extended batteries. I am currently using an Anker battery that I bought off Amazon. It has slightly extended battery life at 2200 mAh. It is the same size as the OEM battery so no custom back case or chunkyness sticking out the back. Anker sells the single batteries or they sell a double pack with an external battery charger on Amazon, quite useful. I believe their products are on sale right now.

Anker 2200 mAh works perfect for me. I've been using 2 I ordered from Amazon for about 4 months. I get about 10 hours heavy usage time. I get well over a day on when I take it easy. Juice defender is an excellent addition to any cell as well. I would advise you to be careful when taking the battery out of the charger so you don't break the plastic that separates the cells. It can cause problems charging through the cell phone. Either way it's a great buy and I highly recommend.

Anker 2200 mAh works perfect for me. I've been using 2 I ordered from Amazon for about 4 months. I get about 10 hours heavy usage time. I get well over a day on when I take it easy. Anyone know how reliable some of these aftermarket batteries are? I've been reading that some don't have NFC support and overcharge protection. Both huge no-nos in my book. Especially the latter.

You can charge them either way. Personally I use the external and the phone. I was just saying be a bit careful when you take your battery off the external charger. I have one battery that I can only charge through the external since I broke the small plastic separator... not a big deal though. It still works properly.

Anyone tried the ecell batteries? Seem to work on my atrix.. was wondering if I should try it on this guy.
No NFC support in most (if not all) aftermarket batteries

Yes, most aftermarket batteries (like the one WangLung linked to), if not all, don't have NFC support as the chip is located in the battery. The same goes for the ATT i777, but not the international i9100.
You can tell on many of these by the 4 contacts- one is for the NFC. This is why a i9100 battery (with only 3 contact heads) will work with a i777 phone (that has 4 contact prongs) - the connector for the NFC would just be touching plastic.
Don't know about the overcharging protection though.
I have the Anker 2200 MAh slim extended battery in my phone and it works great! I usually get an extra hour of on-screen time than I would with the stock battery.

Anker battery is awesome
I purchased an Anker 2200 mAh slim batter 2 weeks ago, and I have been nothing but impressed! This battery rocks, I get 2 full days with average/light use (phone calls, 3 hours screen time).
Well worth the investment for 2 battery's + charger for around $25!

Has anyone tried this one?

Thinking of getting it but I am also debating the anker one. Does the anker battery have problems with over charging? because I usually keep my phone on the charger all night

The one for $20 includes two batteries and a charger, while the $12 one only a single battery. For what you get with the $20 one, it never hurts to have more than one battery, especially if you're away from the charger for a whole day and you're using your phone often.
I do not own the Anker extended battery myself, as I am doing fine with the stock battery and I like having NFC ready if needed. But it does seem like a great battery, especially for the price.
