Hi guys,
Toady I decidaded to make a backup of my current rom (Bagux 1.4) and flash Bionic Cow ROM V7.
After flashed this rom I faced a huge battery drain, soo I decided to flash stock kernel (XXLM8), and I was supriesed when I saw Antutu score.

Vsync is enabled from the kernel itself. Flashing stock XXLM8 only will not get Vsync to work.
Yes i know, but is there any way to aply v-sync to this kernel (XXLM8)?
XXLM8 have better performance than cow kernel and better batery, and I really like it, but I don't like screen flickering.
Sry for bad english.
Hi,I'm using same firmware and kernel as you. My way of fix the graphic flicking is open root explorer, make sure system and data is set to r/w. Don't exit, just minimize it. Open cow panel, select to enable v sync. Then just reboot. Works for me.

Strange way to fix, but it works.
Thx
Well that is not doing vsync. It is only enabling triple buffering.

Hi Guys,
Just a few questions..
1. What ROM can you recommend to install? Currently on Galaxy Nexus GSM 4.0.2
ICL53F.I9250XWLK2
2. Same thing as ROM..
3. What are the other things that I need to customize my Nexus?
TIA
I use 4.0.4 stock rom with popcorn kernel, here are my benchmark with this combination

hi guys, thanks for your suggestions.. Now, I just successfully installed AOKP. However, my big problem is that my camera didn't save images/videos.. I am now on the panic mode.

3.0.8-gaaa2611. that's my kernel version. I haven't install Kernel updates here. What do you mean by stock camera? <pardon for the noob question> My phone is already rooted/unlocked.
What were your instructions for rooting? (Assuming you weren't rooted before you posted this)
Your root method may have wiped everything

No, i'm using gallimaufry. I'm surprised too, I didn't expect such a high score
Check my sig to make sure you're installing the roms correctly.
Post two will detail it.
A "stock" camera is the camera that comes pre-installed. Not one from the play store.
I'm on AOKP, and can confirm no such issue.
I think my camera started malfunctioning <didn't save images/videos> when I wipe data due to I forgot my screen lock pattern <yes, I forgot! WTH>. Then, I flash AOKP b29 to see if it will solved my dilemma but it didn't. Last resort was, flash original stock ROM from Google website. Now, I am back to stock ROM.
@Jubakuba: I follow your procedure before, but when I tried to re-install Titanium Backup <free> to restore apps, it didn't succeed and prompts error which is something like code:32.

hi....check with my device in bionic cow2 firmware. inside there is already include as what you have mention.
There is no /system/usr/idc folder in the ROM I'm using, and I think there isn't one in any other ROM too, since they are all based on the same Android version.
To make this have an effect, we need to find the equivalent file in our ROM and change it accordingly.
What exactly does this mod do?

I'm using Mildwild from couple of month back. It's working fine. But the issue is GB does not support Bangla language. Bangla is supported in ICS. I installed ICS several times but due to its slow performance I always had to back to another GB ROM. Please suggest a good performance ICS or JB ROM for me.
you can try JB 4.1 roms by Elk759 or Nikez
I use rom by Elk
I'm telling this to everyone... Try nikez jb rom! The newest version for today is p10 and I'm using it for few days and I can't say a bad thing about it. Plus the performance is great! It's the fastest jb I've used.

My Girlfriend is very pissed at her WFS.. its bugging the hell out of her.. She is running the newest stock rom, and basicly what happens is that we do a factory reset and she install a few programs and it slowly runs out of space and begins beggin her to free space and right before we do a factory reset again, she has uninstalled all her programs and it still says theres no free space
I then told he that i would try and flash a custom rom on it that would work better..
Can you recommend any ? It has to be as close to the stock rom as possible..
Thanks !
~D
wildchild v2.1, aaladragonfire rom, and hense mod ........ they are sense based roms... works great...
My brother also have wfs i also tried many different roms such as wildfire s etc and he used cm7 more than any other rom after than dnt know what happened to him he was saying he's not happy with custom rom as games where incompatible, sometimes when phone ring screen freezes then i installed stock rom again with cake v1.4 kernel overclocked it install link2sd partitioned sd card for more app space..
Now phone is spedy and not even single bug... Hope it helped

Yeah, his last version the best CM10 based on Quarx I have even seen. But it seems that not too many people say something about thankful for his great job, I don't understand and it's a pity.
All I want to is, @Boss442 good job!:good:
