I have just unlocked my phone via HTCdev instructions:
c:\Android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.023s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) unlock token check successfully
OKAY [ 0.219s]
finished. total time: 0.244s
c:\Android>
this is the result so to me, it went fine:
It says unlocked above :
ENDEAVORU PUT SHIP S-ON RL
So I am pretty sure what I have done has been right.
Anyways I booted up phone again and when phone is in hand I turn the screen and all other menus/{screens} turn, like they are supposed to, but the main clock screen does not turn so when the phone is in the dock, the screen is still the long way up, is this right, have I missed something, or is it the way it is meant to be.
If the latter, is there a rom that I am able to flash to phone to get this result, as I would like the main home screen to be displayed the right way up, when in the docking station, as it will be installed to my car.
Ant help would be great...Thanks in advance.
Yeah the stock rom does not support that, go have a look at ViperX Rom(formerly Pkmn) I run it with the exact same dock and it turns around just fine.
Apex launcher let's you rotate the home screen if you want to stay on stock Rom, there's also an app on the market that let's you force landscape mode, I think it's called "rotation locker"

So, I might have made a mistake... got my M8 today (yay) and bought it used with GPE rom on it. Well the software kept messing up and I wanted to go back to stock... well I tried fast booting and using a RUU which failed (too many links). I decided to then unplug it and found a horrible screen of htc logo and 4 exclamatory triangles. I can access bootloader by unplugging the device, but the only option is RUU. cannot seem to get anything else.
Connect the phone and post the results of fastboot getvar all and we'l take it from there. If you can also post a screenshot of the bootloader screen that will help

Hi Everyone,
I have unlocked the boot menu on my One M9, and installed TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/hima/twrp-3.0.0-2-hima.img.html).
However I have a sneaking suspicion that the custom recovery is not working correctly. Every time that I boot into recovery I see the same message (shown below). Every time that I see the message I tick the 'Never show this screen during boot again' checkbox, and then swipe the 'Swipe to Allow Modifications' button.
Why am I seeing this message over and over again? Furthermore what does seeing this message actually mean? As a side note I appear to be able to install ROMs (Android HD, and Venom) - log files show successful ROM installation - however I cannot boot into them, instead I simply find myself at the bootloader screen whenever I start the phone.

Any help here would be great! I am currently unable to use the phone, and would ideally like to start using a custom ROM. However if doing so is not possible it would still be good to work out what is going on before I make the move back to the stock ROM.
Kind Regards,
Davo
that is normal, if you won't use stock roms again, just select never show this during boot again and swipe to allow system modifications. then you can normally flash roms without any problem
That is exactly my point! I have already followed your suggestion over ten times...but the message keeps appearing regardless!
As flashing frp.img: FAILED (remote: 'Requested download size is more than max allowed)
As flashing rooted-boot: FAILED (Write to device failed (Too many links)). It shows "press any key to shutdown" on my phone screen, even I enter the command at first, plug the phone then, or do both at the same time.
By the way the original fastboot shows the product name is g7ulm, but LG's official website says it's a sprint version according to my fastboot device-id.
Could you tell me what should I do if you knew the right way? I've been stucking here for a long time.

Do you have the latest android platform tools (fastboot) installed?
For my phone, for root, you install magisk app.
Put stock boot.img on phone sdcard
In magisk, click "install magisk".
Choose patch file. Select your boot.img.
Patched image will be in download folder.
Put patched image on pc and boot to fastboot
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched***.img

Hi, I forgot to market the thread as solved. What worked form me was to execute the flash command, and then plug in my phone. Ryzen is weird
I am having issues with my Huawei M2-801L. I have tried doing a complete reset and everything with no avail.
So basically when I start the tablet, it brings up a white screen, I can't press the home button or anything, I can't swipe on the screen, only thing that works is me pressing the home button to shut it down.
It also keeps rebooting itself.
See image attached.
I tried to flash firmware on to Huawei MediaPad M2-801L.
I have a number of issues:
Can't get into device to enable Developer Options, there is a firmware problem not allowing me to do this.
I don't have an unlocked bootloader
Using fastboot commands to flash device keeps giving me this error: FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed'). (I have installed Android Studio, and I am doing the commands within the "platform_tools" folder, with the relevant files to flash the device with).
I have even tried to install twrp with no avail
I have researched the internet for hours yesterday, trying different methods to try and get my tablet back up and running again. Every method I tried, I seemed to bump into many errors along the way.
I can get into fastboot mode and download mode. I have tried using QFIL, however I don't have a RawProgram and Patch file.
Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone guide me in the right direction if possible?
Thanks in advance!

Did these issues start before or after your display broke?

It was along time after
It could be hardware related due to the broken display.
As you can't get into fastboot nor into download mode, DC Unlocker or DC Phoenix are also no options to solving your issues.
If you can find a cheap replacement display on eBay, maybe this could fix it but it is a long shot.
