How to (from CWM):
Download ROM and place it into your sdcard
Go to recovery mode (press Home+power button, while your phone's off)
Mount system first (mount and storage)
Go to install zip from sdcard
choose file u've downloaded, and wait for installation complete
Reboot system now, and done!
Enjoy it!
How to (from RZR):
Download ROM and place it into your sdcard
Go to recovery mode (press Home+power button, while your phone's off)
Mount system first (mount menu)
Go to install menu from sdcard
choose file u've downloaded, and install chocobread-GIO.zip, wait for installation complete

Its not based on cm7. The lockscreen mod is from g fit or gmini. And only 1 lockscreen is ported. Others are just themed.

hey the rom is blazing fast i liked it but please could u add fast toggles?! like on the quick setting i dnt want to make long click to turn data off or wifi.. this is very important for me , i know you aim for AOSP Experience which is fast but u know..^^ also the music app u included reminds me of cm7 i hate it. not much options maybe apollo will do better or aosp music app.
thanks alot for your hard work anyway i just gave my opinion u dont have to do anything from what i said.. cuz they might be other ppl who just like it as it is simple and fast!

(It's from nexus but works ok with sgs aosp 4.2.1)
Also somewhere on Xda i've found reboot menu mod (androidpolicy.jar) working ok with aosp.

I personally tested it and my phone has booted !
How to install ??? :
Requirement : CWM 5, SGG, SD Card, a good battery (50% required) etc etc ...
In CWM 5 :
Wipe Data/ Factory reset.
Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache.
And Install ZIP > Choose ZIP > Monster X2™ PORT .zip.
Go to Mounts and Storage > mount system.
And Install ZIP > Choose ZIP > GAPPS.zip
Wipe again what you wiped before.
Reboot System Now.
AFTER INSTALL, YOU BOOT AND GO TO THEME CHOOSER AND SELECT THE ICS THEME. CLICK APPLY ANYWAY! THEN YOU REBOOT, TO GET NO BUGS ON THEME! AND THAT´S IT!

The cm7 roms are verry nice buth the radio problem with the bltt problem that has to stay on the the signal is verry verry poor..i was expecting some rom without this problem..buth nothing so far.

I think that, The update doens´t have to much difference of this one, what´s is the difference? The live wallpapers? I will take a closer look.

This release will be quite stable? X2 seems to be very good on my girlfriend's Gio, but I can't give her an unstable dev.

I have a few problems... with camera ( cant record ) and bluetooth ( cant put on ), trying to find a way to make it work.

For camera recording - system/etc - and replace media_profiles.xml file, use this from some cm7 for gio, this should help,It worked on the LEWA ports

Great rom so far! :good: I miss cLock weather widget in lockscreen though. I tried putting LockClock.Apk in /system/app/ but my root explorer won't get permission to the directory. Any hints?

Does the default launcher have multi-dpi support,or do I need to install a third party launcher ?

No,I meant the whole layout of the home-screens
In Trebuchet,we have the option to "stretch screens",where as in the stock ROMs,there is no such options.
So when I set the DPI to 182,the actual usable area on the home-screen is just the center,and the border around it is inaccessible.
Just a small query before downloading

Do you use it with a specific kernel? I see n3okernel in the screenshots? is it included?

Installed it just now.. If I want to use XM kernel 188v4, should I repack? It runs without repacking, but I mean, do I lose any functionality if i do not repack (battery optimizations and stuff)?

I haven't done any RAMDisk optimization. I'm using Shiz's RAMDisk. So it's recommended to repack. Most the optimization is system level.

No mate it's stock kernel but you can use n3o if you want.

serenity...are you from the LWW, mini pro forum by any chance? :/

Im using this ROM desensed with So.Ho Launcher for now, on XM kernel 188v4 (not repacked). Seems to work fine! Will let you know in a couple of days how the battery is treating me
