Transparent Soft-keys and Status-bar from Motorola - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys i saw an article about the new Motorola phone at Link and
there is an image that show android ics with transparent softkeys and statusbar backgrounds.
It would be really nice when it will be released if the devs could see how it works and if it is possible to port it to our device
without a huge performance issue!

+ 100 to Op , I would highly appreciate a transparent status bar or a hybrid bar for maguro

I may be wrong but I was sure that on most custom ICS ROMs there was a transparency setting for many of those items?

I've seen the setting for transparent status bar before, and I had issues. It looked great on lock screen/homescreen, but once I was in an app it looked funny, usually a gray color that made the bar in readable because of the contrast.

I really like that widget. :cyclops:

[ICONS] TallMin By Lekky

Firstly let me make clear that I have taken inspiration from SimpText by UltraLinx. I loved the idea he had created, very simple and minimalistic, however on my Desire the icons were just too small to be useful for me. Very kindly, UltraLinx also provided the PSD file he based his icons on. From this I amended the colours, the font, the size, as well as some more font options.
The end result is as follows:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I can create more to your liking if requested
Currently there are 139 icons in 10 different colours below:
Black
Bright Red
Dark Red
Green
Light Blue
Orange
Pastel Blue
Pink
White
Yellow

@le3ky, tnx for the icons. used the yellow ones for quite some time.
@mazroui, the clock widget is Tajm, the battery widget in the same style is Battstatt, both can be found in the market for free.
super nice thx a lot m8
Great icons, appreciate you sharing, thank you.
Hey Lekky,
love this icon set. Any chance you could update it to incorporate a few more apps, such as WhatsApp and the Facebook Messenger app? And also Evernote?
Thanks!

P.S.: Also for the Amazon Market please

[Q] Battery mod / theme for the SGS II

Hello everyone,
im very happy that i recieved my brand new SGS II today.
I was wondering if anyone already had a nice battery mod or theme with a battery % in it apart from the only theme i could find in this section ?
The current darky v10 green battery for the normal SGS would be awesome.
Greetings,
well you gonna wait for a while if you are looking for a theme .... but why don't you use the battery widget ... it looks cool as well

(THEME) The Word-AOKP TORO B27 3-6

Hello Eveyone!!!
This is something I started for MIUI....but just got the Nex so I coundn't resist.
This will change your status bar, soft keys, and some blues to white.
A few things....
This is for AOKP TORO B27....haven't tried on anything else
Most of the stat_notify images done for framework and system apps.
For some reason TALK is not cooperating with me. Not third party apps.
If you have a free app that you would the notification done, let me know.
Ticker text is still white.....
Battery with w/ numbers is circle battery mod.
I hope to keep working on this on this theme and appreciate your feedback....just flash, you know the deal.
Updated 3/6: More Notifications done, Did some work on the lockscreen, text, phone, browser, camera and onlock all themed.
Made Kand'd Widget!!!! Nevemind the clock options, It does not tell time, just being clever, touching it will open alarm.

Certain roms will automatically give you the white navbar when you pick the ghost theme in themechooser I know euroskanks aokp works as well as codename android 3.1.0 I wanted this myself that's how I know this
Edit: I see yours is a maguro I'm on a Toro so not sure if my answer still applies to you or not
Picture of code name android 3.1 with dreamsicle theme
don't know why it looks like there is gray lines in it but at least you can see the white navbar bar

That white looks legit bro.
Neat.

If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^
That does look pretty cool. Might venture that way as well...
I've wanted a white GNex, but now I think I want an all white screen instead. That looks stellar with the dark phone. I think it looks even better than what I call my "endless screen:" solid black background so my screen blends seamlessly with the bezel.
I want this white too!!!

[Request] Full date on statusbar

Hello everyone.
I'm looking for a flashable mod that display the full date on the statusbar, next to the clock.
Some ROMs allow you to display the day of the week (FRI, SAT), but I'm looking for the full date or at the very least the day of the month.
Kindly take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491887
Here the author explains how to do it yourself, but frankly that's way above my abilities. Besides, it seems to work only for AOKP roms, and I'm using one that's AOSP-based.
If any of you feel you have some free time and can help me, ideally by making a flashable mod that does the above, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Best regards.
You could always use uccw and make it yourself you just need to have a launcher that hides your status bar....that what I did

I couldn't part with my status bar and sometimes I need to know what time and date it is while inside an app, that's why putting it next to my clock would be perfect.
You still will see it there when your in a app

You mean like this?

To see that you have to press (and not slide) on your notification drawer. I need something that can bee seen without intervention on my part, for lack of a better term.
Might have to wait for a rom
