Hello. My MT3GS randomly began bootlooping. Attempts to go into fastboot or recovery don't work. Suggestions?

Hey xda,
I was having problems with my gens so I decided to install a older rom and it got my gnex stuck in boot loop. Which I have before fixed by rebooting into recovery via command prompt on my computer. My problem is my computer isn't seeing my device and my volume buttons don't work so I don't know how to get into recovery to install a back up.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks everyone
Hey guys,
Don't usually have to post but after searching all day I can't find a way out of this loop. My 10 is currently flashing the white HTC splash and rebooting endlessly. That's no big deal, but I ALSO have no recovery or download mode access.
The ONLY thing I can do to interrupt the loop is access fastboot by holding Vol UP + Vol Down on restart. Unfortunately trying to "reboot to recovery" only flashes the dark HTC Logo then immediately restarts to the original bootloop. Attempting to "reboot to download mode" simply resumes the boot loop.
The device is recognized in fastboot on my PC but unfortunately I cannot flash or erase anything because I'm in S-ON, so practically none of the fastboot commands work. I have been using TWRP recovery and Viper10 Rom.
Any help getting out of this loop is greatly appreciated. I was going to give up and pay the deductible and replace it, until I found out that the phone is backordered until October and my alternative is an LG, which I can't stand.
S O S!

The only difference being that I let mine loop for a solid hour and it didn't successfully boot at all. In the past I was having issues sometimes when I restarted, but I would just create a backup and restore from it and it would work, which made me think the boot file was just either corrupt or non existent. I've never been locked out of recovery AND download mode, however.
Dear all,
I have a Nexus 5X 16 Gb. I was using the developer preview for Android N. Suddenly, a day ago, the phone got stuck on the boot loop showing only the Google logo and restarting. I Can get into the Download mode, but I cannot go into recovery mode, it just keeps restarting. I was trying to use Google Root Toolkit but it requires an unlocked boot which I did not set before. If I try to sideload an image, the toolkit restarts the phone so it keeps inside the boot loop and the toolkit keeps waiting for the device.
So, in brief, I cannot enter recovery mode, if the toolkit or the ADB command restarts the device it keeps on the boot loop, and the device bootloader is locked.
After resetting itself 100 times I get into the main menu, If I try to use any function, The phone freezes and goes into boot loop again.
Please, any help, what can I do?
Hi, yesterday i was using my phone and suddenly it freezed then restarted and the lenovo logo stuck forever, i thought that the stuck firnware got crashed and needs to reinstall again, i had root in it and installed twrp on it, i tried to boot to the twrp through the fastboot but when i type " fastboot boot recovery.img" it works and says finish but the phone still stuck at the bootloader screen and freezes and i have to restart the phone again to access the bootloader again, then i tried to reinstall the stuck firmeware that i used before "P2a42_S048_161111_ROW_fastboot" but still after i reinstalled it and start the phone again, it still stuck at the lenovo logo forever" then i tried to boot to the stuck recovery mode using fastboot, and still freezes after i run the command on fastboot, i tried the blankflash it all works fine without no fail but still the problem exist, still cant boot my phone and cant boot to the recovery, this is the first time that something wierd like this happens to my phone, i tried all the solutions and none of them works! i even tried to relock the bootloader using fastboot oem lock but it fails! please help me guys.
Join the club, you're phone is now dead, no one recovered from this yet.
Hey guys, been a hot minute since I've been around these parts but I've got a weird one for you.
I'm stuck in a boot loop. I can get into the bootloader using pwr+vol up, but thats it. If I try to enter recovery it boot loops.
Using fastboot commands and I can get things to flash (so it says), but am still stuck in this bootloop.
Tried loading TWRP using fastboot boot twrp.img and it says it succeeded but then loops without ever getting the TWRP splash
Tried extracting the img files from the most recent OTA downloaded from google from the payload.bin and flashing those with no success.
Tried flashing the boot.img out of LineageOS and it still loops afterwards... I'll admit that this was a last ditch effort and I hope I didn't screw myself, but I figure I can just reflash if needed since I can still access fastboot.
I feel like since I can get into the bootloader that there's got to be SOMETHING I can do, but nothing seems to be working. Is this old phone truly bricked? Any ideas??
A little extra info. I was on a stock rom, it was rooted for a while and eventually after some of the ota's I lost it and didn't bother getting it back. the bootloader unlocked, though, so there's that.

As a rule of thumb
-- A 'bricked phone' is usually unresponsive, won't power on, and doesn't function normally.
