I've came through an interesting article at Pocketables where a macro lens is used to capture pics with a S2 and the results are definitely great.
Here : http://www.pocketables.com/2012/07/from-the-diy-drawer-30mm-macro-lens-test-photos.html
My question is : Has anyone used such type of lens on the Note?
I've found this on ebay :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Magneti...738610?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2c649f8bb2
This is for the iphone though but seems intriguing - 100x and 60x zoom!! :

I am also interested in those! Gonna buy that telescope for note and test it. Unless someone did it already
Im using this one. Cheap (2$) and universal use. Worked on every phone I tried so far. Here is a pic I made directly after I got it:

Being a "new user" (lurker) I can't post a link  but the brand is BrainyTrade sold in Amazon . com/dp/B005C3CSXC/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
Does anybody know if it would work with our phone?
The description says it should work with any camera phone, (and the lens has to be smaller than 9.5mm) but I wanted to know if somebody has tried it on the t989, or other similar phone.
Thanks.

It's only 8 bucks, why not try it? I might. I'm a bit of a shutterbug, I have a camera but my phone is much better so I might just pick up one of these myself.
I had one for my Nexus one.
Here is a sample pic i took with it:

Yeah for that price I might try it. Thank you
So I just read up on this on some random website that I cant remember, so I decided to try this.
Basically what it is is putting a small drop of water on the camera lens. Not so much that you damage the phone, but just enough to cover the entire lens (it took me a while to figure out how to do this)
This is the result (My HTC one x's screen)
This blew my mind when I saw how close i could zoom in

Here's a link to a product that does something similar that WON'T run the risk of damaging our phones

I bought a stand from ebay and it's nice. It's 3.79$ with free shipping.I will definitely recommend this stand it has a nice quality and hold the Nexus 7 in landscape or portrait mode it's very good.

Looks good. Thanks for sharing the find.
Costs a little bit more but looks better and folds up:

you can also make it into a wireless changing stand - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2424250

But it's plastic. I like the build quality the stand and it folds up too.

I'll probably get a Qi charger eventually, but this works well in the meantime. It doesn't detect the stand as a stand, sadly, but it's still a handy spot to put it. Crappy pics taken with my Droid 1.

Wow, well, thats an idea! I've got one flying around from my old Milestone 2, it even has the removable inlay to use it with cases, so it should have space enough for using it with my Nexus 5 with a case on.
As soon as I'm home, I'll try it out, let's see, probably going to re-life this old thing

Hey guys, I was looking into getting myself an Oculus Rift but figured the wait is just too long since it seems the final product wouldn't be available till 2015. So in my search I came across this http://www.durovis.com/index.html/
According to this you can place your phone as the actual screen and a good VR experience coupled with their Apps on the play store. And best of all its about 50euros with international shipping and for those who maybe interested its not that hard to DIY. If anyone has tried please share your experience as there aren't that many reviews on it. I might get it soon
I love the fact that all the important components are already built into the phone such as the gyroscope and the display itself. Let me know what you guys think.
