Have you tried re-calibrating your battery?
Yeah dear I have tried but battery celebration apps required 100% charging for celebration.. but my device has always showing under 60% charging that's why its not works..

Is it in your status bar that it shows the incorrect value?
Try going to Settings > About Phone > Status
It should tell you the correct value there. If it still shows up as the incorrect value i believe it could be a problem with your actual battery.

In your case, you don't need an app for calibration. Since you can't get your phone to show correct status, reboot into Recovery, go to Advanced and Wipe Battery Stats. Reboot phone, Run Wifi, Bluetooth, Torch, Music and anything that could drain battery faster altogether until the battery runs down and switches itsef off. Try recharging and see the result.
Hope it helps.
Cheers.
Thank u so much to all of u..
I,ll do it and see the results..

This is strange... Changing the battery is not an option as it works well... Have you tried flashing another ROM?
If I may ask, did this battery issue started when you flashed CM7?

Its happened to quite a few people since I've been around this forum, dont think anyone has pinned down a particular reason for it happening and the only explanation from HTC is that its a mobo fault........
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
May be its a mobo fault but this is truth that I am facing this issue after flashing cm7.2..!
I have been told this rom working almost perfactly and such a nice and smoother one but before I was used Sunabh Rom v.1.1 by Vibhus which is also nice rom and had never facing issue like this on my previous rom..

Try revert to your previous ROM and see if your battery shows its true status.
Its not yet possible.. I have been delete nandroid backup of my previou rom

i have been experiencing the same problem with the battery .. doesn't seem to get past the 70% mark. I started noticing this few weeks into using CM7 ( currently using CM7.2 RC3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1698029 the issue still remains) At first i found out that if i reboot my phone after putting it to charge , it would charge all the way to 100 %. But slowly that too started fading and now nothing i do gets it above 70%. even got a new battery to no avail, and i cant get more than 5 to 6 hrs with the battery .. the battery drain is incredible
am i using an incorrect kernel or something ?? any help is appreciated .. thanks in advance !
My opinion is its something to do with your phone itself, if it was software/kernel related we would all most likely get the same problem as we are all using the same piece of software.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I too have this problem mine does not charge beyond 79% sometimes 75%. With my experience this is too do with the kernel that CM7 uses. If I restart the device it will show 100%.
If I go back to the stock kernel the charging goes all the way to 100%.
Either my charger has broken or its the overclock-able kernel.
I have tried every other method out there.
The battery performance is good BTW.

Have you tried installing current widget to see what is exactly happening, or how much voltage is going through your phone, even though it's sleeping? (ie, screen off)
I have not tried yet

This happened to me a few times (with almost no apps running) on RC7. Updating to 2.01 seems to have fixed that for me.
If that doesn't help, try using a different kernel and/or a different radio version and see if that works for you (we're reduced to experimentation as nobody has ben able to determine what exactly causes this issue).
I'm well impressed with mine. I went to bed with it fully charged, used it a bit in bed, always play a game and check the forums. Not plugged in at all and woke up this morning and its still fully charged!!
Amazing, since I have yahoo messenger running always. Been using it a lot since I woke up and now on 96% but I know its mainly the screen that uses a lot.
Brilliant ROM tbh
See if this helps:

Are you using a Live Wallpaper?
Also mention something you've done after which the battery drained faster... (something done after rooting)...

I think its definitely setCPU. When i installed it my cpu freqquencies would change every second between min and max frequency(no matter what governor i used). The result:excessive battery drain
I think its because stock kernel doesnt support overclocking(or even underclocking)...May be the devs could explain it
After i did a factory reset, battery is ok now for me. No battery drain when kept idle for a night:good:
P.S. Also before reset my HW decoding(in video playback) wasn't working(now its ok)....any1 experienced this too?
The problem isn't setcpu the problem is that he set it to 2ghz

I think it is the setCPU too, try to use no-frills, it is a tad better in my opinion, but stock kernel doesn't like non-stock settings that is for sure.
I upgraded to rc2.1 cz they told me that the battery drain will decrease, but its still the same

you need to reset the battery by the sounds of it, empty your battery tonight, run some games or put youtube on or something....there used to be an app on the market that would run gps\wifi\brightness all max etc and empty your battery for you....not sure if it's still there.....but when you do root you can clear battery stats which will make your life easier....but yea empty it, charge it while it's off and HOPFULLY everything will be fine for you also as a sidenote, i charge my phone with wifi on and internet radio playing in the night and charges to 100% fine
When should I clear the battery stats?
Sent from my HTC One V using xda premium
it's known to reset the "capacity" of battery, but personally i don't believe it.
Use program BetterBatteryStats and see what's keeping your mobile phone awake, and also install CPU Spy to see on what frequency is your phone mainly working.

I have never used Miui Roms, so i can talk about it with certainty, but roms take a while to settle...at least a week after flashing it to assess the battery life. Make sure that the screen brightness is set to automatic and also make sure that u disable all the animations that usually come as default. but again, just give time for the rom to settle....
OK I'll wait I guess. But its been killing my battery like crazy. Even in sleep mode. The battery will drop like 9% and even gets the whole phone hot. Its not even being over locked either. Is there a way I can monitor the usage?

Phone getting hot is not normal with any rom. I would say download the rom again, full wipe, install a few basic apps and check what happens.
If it still gets hot try a different rom.
If it still gets hot after that, it could be a hardware problem.

Just get the app and follow this instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9583271&postcount=340
OK. I'm going to try this. Tnx man!
After you succesfully calibrated your battery, keep your Battery Age in Mind! Cause everytime you charge your Phone when turned off, it will be set to the default 94% and the problem occurs again. then just go in the app to LearnPrep tap and enter your Battery Age again!

But i figured out, that my mobile-standby used about 28% when the screen just used 44%. This is since i flashed the new ruu and updated the radio. Maby the radio is ****?!
