CM9 in production or bad link? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I spotted this: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#bravo/cm9/next
Which seems to suggest a long history of nightly CM9 builds for the Bravo - but I've only got 7.2.0.1 on the device listing. I take it the link is incorrect rather than I just don't find the download and there really is CM9 coming to the Desire? What have I missed?
Thanks,
Matt.

CyanogenMod team does not offer even an experimental CM9 build for Desire so far, however there are several ROMs for Desire that are built using CM9 sources.
You might want to check this one:

Do you happen to know if they will be and official stable CM9 release for the HTC Desire, or will the last "official" one be CM7? I guess it might be considered too old/slow for a stable release.
I'm using Sandvold's ICS ROM (0.14) BTW which runs pretty smoothly .
Arite.

[q] cm7 nightly & cm7

Hey!
I want to put CM rom on my gf's wildfire and i didn't find anywhere the difference between the regular and the nightly version... can someone explain it to me?
Nightlies are experimental versions, which may be better than the stable, but, it may sometimes also have bugs not present in the stable. The building of nightlies is a continuous process, with a new nightly released everyday.
Another difference is that you do not get "official" support on the CM Bug tracker for nightlies, but, this is available for RC / Stable versions.
For your gf's phone, I would probably recommend you go with the stable.
thank you for your help!
stable is better for father, i think

[Q] Will the Wildfire get CM 7.2?

Yep, will it ever get CM 7.2? Are there any devs working on it? Just wondering.
I thought the unofficial builds by erwin and cobje are 7.2??
Officially though I doubt it now as arco and Jacob have moved on to better phones.

As per the CM Blog, It was planned to have a final stable release of CM7 to incorporate all the changes that have gone through since the last stable came out, and also since the nightlies stopped. However, now that CM9 nightlies have started, (For some devices), I don't know whether this plan (To get 7.2 Stable) is still on or not.
Basically, if you are already on the local builds by cobje / Erwin, you won't get anything else, apart from a "Stable" in the file name, and the ability to file bug reports on the CM bug tracker (Which will not help, given that CM7 is almost dead)
Ok thank you. Its just like senseonfire beta 0.4 0.5 etc. And jokerdroid 4.2 and 4.3
Tought it was like cm6 cm7 cm9, for every version another android version.

[Q] Best fully working CM9?

Hello!
I didn't flash a CM rom for more than a year (Nexus 1), I want to try a good CM9 rom but which one is fully working and bugless?
I mean wifi,GPS,camera,camcorder...
I heard there is an ''echo'' bug in the voice calls?
Well the echo bug is fixed. Try trip's rom. It's pretty good and has almost everything working.
I'm on cm9 alpha 4 by (forgot the name but I think it's tbalden and mdj).
Will give trip's rom another try sometime later. Did not work good for me the first time.
Try this....
This is the most stable CM9

The torch app is working with the ''super bright'' option?
I have a major doubt about CM9 here. Why are there so many CM9's in the development section? When i had my nexus s there was only 1 cm9 thread started by the official maintainer of the device!
Furthermore which among the various CM threads is the actual one from the CM team with the official maintainer?
Or hasn't CM officially supported our device? I read that the SGS3 got official CM9 nightly builds.. Do we also have official nightly builds?

What CM7 releases are good?

[Q] Which Cyanogemod rom

Hi Guys,
I have found Cyanogenmod to be the most stable rom for my Desire HD. Which Cyanogenmod rom have you found to be the most stable/user friendly (7.1, 7.2, unofficial cm10 nightlies etc)???
7.2 is the most stable if that is what you're after. Although it's Gingerbread. CM10 is good enough for use as a daily driver with slight bugs. Personally I'd choose Jellybean over Gingerbread anyday.. but if you're really paranoid about stability.. go for 7.2

With regards Jellybean, would you recommend Cyanogenmod or a rom from another dev, if so which Jellybean?

JellyTime by randomblame is the best Jellybean ROM around at the moment to be used as a daily driver. Thanks to the dev its mostly always in sync with CM10 changes with regular updates and offers extra features from aokp and such. Stability is also good.

I'm using JellyTime as my Daily Driver since Release 9.1, had some of the dicussed Issues on the development Thread, (like randomly rebooting, and bad Music Quality on Earphones, but if you follow the Development, it's nothing that can't be fixed with a little effort;
Latest Release (R24) is running smooth and without any issues for me, after full wipe an a clean Install.
Some People reporting battery drain Issues, but this seems to be device-dependent, so you have a good chance that this Problem will not come up for your DHD.
Give it a try, and i suppose you will never go back to GB...
