Phantom Skinz White Carbon Fiber

I installed a white carbon fiber phantom skin.
Looks pretty sweet on the battery cover, I get a ton of inquiries about what the heck kind of phone it is. It also came with a skin for the metal bevel on the front but I liked the look of the white back with shiny bevel better.
I can get a better pic if anyone wants, but I recommend this. It changes the look of the phone dramatically.

Oh and its actually VERY easy to put on.

ok so i bought the case that sprint is offering mainly because it's real carbon fiber which is awesome......is there a holster that will fit the phone with the sprint brand carbon fiber case that they sell???

it says carbon fiber look finish but it's weird when you run your fingers along it you can feel ever weeve. thought it was.

My hood is carbon fiber, as is my trunk lid. Run your hands across it, and you can't feel the weave because of the coating that's on it. I haven't seen the case, but I wonder if it's like this?

It's just plastic. And the high price comes because of the kick stand

I road race motorcycles and its understandable that carbon fiber on vehicles ha a coat on it because of rock chips and stuff. My race bike has plenty of carbon fiber on it but has a coat on it because of rock chips sand and tiny debris that might hit. The case though not carbon fiber is a damn good knock off.....

You did say it was real carbon fiber, and there were other nards who knew nothing of the subject who wanted to chime in and say it was real and felt real.

Let me clarify.
The case IS NOT carbon fiber. Its hard plastic. It is not very thick and its a pretty sweet little case IMO. It maintains a very sleek profile for as thin of a phone as it is attached to and helps to hold while doing whatever.
Its a great buy IMO and I WOULD purchase again.

they just released A case/belt clip combo for $29.99. i need to check it out. i heard its a great case

Ha, not a stunter, just the occasional standup at the dedicated stunt lot.
I am in AET 378 (Composites class) Right now and I actually just got done doing a carbon fiber layup... The fake fiber on that case is far too large, its molded and its not even a composite.. its just plastic. My roommate has the case. Its not a bad case its just a little thick for my liking. Maybe in a couple weeks I was going to make a real carbon fiber case for my phone so it would be a little thinner. I just gotta check and see if the plastic on the phone is compatible with the epoxy resin that I will be using.

To answer the OP's question: no there is no holster case out yet that will fit the phone with the case on it. The case although thin still makes the phone too thick for the holster cases.
PS: not an expert or road racer, but im pretty sure its not real carbon fiber.

Speck Candyshell

Anybody else pick this case up?
I got the grey/black from ATT. There was no way this phone was leaving the store naked, so I chose it (free due to a plethora of bull****).
Anyway, this case is actually pretty awesome. VERY slim, yet sturdy. It fits better than I imagined, and I had pretty high hopes. Also, the buttons retain their solid "click" when you press them with ease.
I highly recommend it. ATT has them for the manufacturer's price of $35. I will post pictures if anybody wants.
I looked, but didn't find a similar thread. Please let me know if there is already one!

i had one of these on a one x and my god i didnt think i was ever gona get it out so i went with the casemate that is like the otter comm all black it looks very nice with the white

I was worried about it being tough to get off too, but it's surprising. It's like the hard plastic is flexible to a certain extent, just enough to get the case off.
I do want that case you are talking about. My wife has one for her S2.

I grabbed the same case, along with a Case-mate Pop. The Pop is going back. Love the Speck. Wish they had other colors in the store though. I chose the Speck bc it's a quality case and it slides in and out of my pocket easily.

Same here. I would have preferred black, this gray looks kind of purple to me. I like how well it fits, I don't get dust under the case finally!

I might go to att and buy a speck or pop cause this cruzerlite case is messing up my zag hd on the corners and yeah there's already a speck thread. No worries though.

Best buy didn't have anything good when I looked. Amazon has the best selection, but most of the cases I want are pre order only.
I'm content with this case though, it does what I want.

Pocket, holsters aren't allowed in uniform or on the flight line.

Pocket here too....always think holsters are tacky. Anyway, it's good for pocket holders as its not too grippy.

I picked up the grey from the AT&T store as well. I like the contrast with the white phone and the black rubber around the edge, but I agree that the "grey" has some purple in it. Still, I really like the case and I'll only bother to change the color if this one wears out. These have been my favorite cases for my last two phones. They seem durable and offer great protection of all edges.

Man these things are expensive to ship... over $50 for just a case to ship all the way up here to the "great north" - canada. Anyone know if they sell these at any retail stores around here?

Trigger pulled - like the look of this one. I've ordered the nocturne black for my white S3, will post pics when it arrives here in the UK if nobody else has by then

I ordered the gray for my pebble blue. I ordered a tpu case a week ago but the cutouts were terrible. I was disappointed because I always use tpu cases for my. phones. The sgp is a quality brand so I shouldn't be disappointed.

I really like my Skinomi Techskin, but my TPU case causes it to peel at the edges.

From my experience with tpu cases and screen protectors, the edge of the case pin the sides arent a tight fit so it tends to rub on the screen projector

On my sony x10i the edge of he case fell over the screen protector holding it in place. On my s3 this is not the case. ( Wordjoke :') )

Definitely agree... i just got my frost gray and it feels extremely slippery in the hand. I may also return it.

It looks slick but I can tell from the pics that the edges of the carbon fiber piece look kinda shoddy. That's my biggest complaint about cases with CF. I've never seen one that had perfect edges.

Yeah they do. I Did the carbon fiber myself and I gotta smooth the rough spots out a little more.

I had this case for my evo lte and loved it so I got one for my ONE, just put it on today and so far I like it, not to sure about how good the thin part by the volume buttons is gonna hold up but we will see...
