Most high capacity batteries are fat and comes with bad quality backcovers. I want a 4000+ mah battery that comes with a back cover that protects my S3 from scratches.

The chrome bumper was off Ebay and around £25 as i recall. SZLF is just the branding. There are a number of different companies that do metal bumpers of different colours.
As for the battery and back cover, just search for Mugen power and you'll find their website. The Note extended battery is 4500maH, just shy of double the stock battery.

Yup, perfectly fine. You can remover the bumper easily with the battery installed. You can even remove the back cover with the bumper on.

I will be getting my 2000MAh battery next week or the week after and I wanted some case suggestions. Right now I am using the case mate barely there but obviously that won't fit round it.
I want something that feels nice, made of plastic but feels sort of rubbery (like Barely There) and isn't over $20 Australian.

Is it regular size battery or bigger ?
Go get a Capdase Alumor Case Jacket. It fits perfectly with the bulkier 2000mah battery.

Im using casemate tough and its a tight fit but does the job. Keeps the phone protected!

Nope it is not the same, it is slightly bigger. If you have a full on case, it might not fit sadly.

The S2, sinks a little bit in the back to make it feel thinner. With the 2000 mAh battery, that makes the back area level with the top area of the phone (where the camera is). It'll fit in virtually any case.
Trident Aegis case fits well and is rubbery edged. Might be a bit more than $20 Aus. though.
Anyone know if a case with belt clip is available for an s3 with the Hyperion battery and back plate? I wear scrubs at work and don't have pockets so I am looking for a solution!
Thats always the problem with extended batteries.. hardly any cases for people who need them..the only thing suitable is the seidio extended battery and holster.. but thats gonna cost ya,, lol
There was a post and a photo somewhere in the cases section that the belt holster from seidio active does a good job with the extended case from hyperion

I have the 4500 mah battery and door from accessory swamp. Actually I think the door is the same as the hyperion. I bought the honeycomb tpu case for the hyperion and it fits. Anyway I bought the seidio extended holster and it works fine with or without the tpu case on the extended battery cover. I use it naked. I'll post some pics tomorrow if I get time. Feels pretty solid, maybe a little play side to side but nothing to worry about.

The trexcell case is nice but does have some flaws. The buttons become hyper sensitive/hyper unsensitive in some cases (had to cut out a small segment from the inside) and the USB port area is far too small, as is the headphone jack area.
but a knife fixes everything.
Was just wondering if all of the extended battery sizes require a new back cover? Like is there an extended battery that fits in the stock phone casing?

Yeah I have one too, its just that since there aren't really any sturdy cases that fit the ext batts I was wondering if I could get a smaller ext batt that would fit in a normal sized housing and therefore normal sized case
