I just installed Android Revolution 2.1.4 on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus, and ever since installing it, Google+ crashes as soon as I open it. I've already tried re-installing Google+ from an apk and updating via market, with the same result. Anyone have any suggestions.

Wipe data on the application. Fix permissions in CWM.

That fixed it. Thank you very much.
When I restore them and they get installed will I continue to get update notifications from the play store for the apps I bought or will I have to download them again from the store for that?
If I can remember correctly when I used tb there is an option to restore market link. Then you should still receive updates for your apps

I just replaced the OTA 4.0.4 with CM10 4.1.1 rom and unfortunately google play doesn't auto download and install the apps i have in my account.
Contacts and calendar were synced ok though.
Is that supposed to be like that?
Could be a couple of reasons:
1) You didn't flash gapps after the rom.
2) Some roms don't have the ability baked in. I have experienced it many times. With CM10 being pre-nightly this is possible.
Once in a while the restore just glitches and doesn't work. Very rare but happens to me sometimes.
Just back up your apps with tibu

It's because you changed rom flavors. To Google you got a new device as your I'd changes when you flash a different rom like stock to cm10. Stock to stock or cm10 to cm10 will let you restore from google

I recently installed ParanoidAndroid from this thread on my Desire Z.
But since I installed this rom, the Play Store won't update anymore, it's currently stuck at version 3.5.15.
I was previously running Virtuous Quattro in which the Play Store was updating just fine.
What should I do to make the Play Store auto update again? I do miss the feature to remove apps from My Apps.
Reinstall GApps from recovery, I always use the ones from CyanogenMod Wiki

Im planning on rooting and flashing CM 10.1 on my ATT GS3. Last time I flashed I had trouble w/ Google Apps and other Nexus apps so I flashed back to stock image. So now I am wondering what is a good Google Apps package ( Google Now, Play Music, Play Store etc.), also need Camera app link, and how do I flash it ( can I just use TWRP). Basically I need links to get all the Nexus apps and how to flash them. Thanks for your help! ~ You could say I am a noob
Typically, gapps are put together in a flashable package. There's no need to try to build it yourself. Just make sure to use the property version for the ROM your running. Typically, there are links in the first post of the ROM thread for GApps. If not, its available from goo manager. As for nexus apps, I'm not sure if those would be compatible with the S3.

The camera can be found in the themes and apps section. Its hit or miss for me but if you are cm or other custom ROM it will already be there. All gapps packages can be flashed in twrp using the install button. Just make sure you get the right version for your ROM.
