Not 100% certain, but I think as long as the phone is unlocked, and you flash att radio you should be good.

Everything will work except the LTE.

I'm not sure if lte would work on the t989. Just unlock it and flash a skyrocket radio.

There is a way to unlock the phone but i fear that these roms are catered to 4g lte and simply mobile is only 4g will that affect service as far as data or email and text etc? Will it even work at all?

No lmao. If u dont know the difference between att radios and tmobile radios, then id advise u not to even bother with rooting and flashing. U can only get and will only get EDGE/2G data speeds. Period

Can a unlocked att s3 be used on t-mobiles network?

Just as the title says. I have a friend who's wife bought a s3 and doesn't like it, and they want to sell it. I'm on t-mobile and they are on att. Thanks in advance.

It will work, however until T mobile completes rebanding the 3g network you will only get edge or 2g data. Voice will work fine.

How would I flash an att ROM for my tmo gs3

So the title says it all, I have a T-Mobile gs3 that is unlocked running on Att. How do I go about flashing att Roms to this phone, I've read many places its possible and I've never been steered wrong by xda so help me out?

You really don't need to. Its the same thing. Just keep a tmo ROM on. It will still work. If anything flash a radio. I know on galaxy s 2 radios are compatible. Not sure about the s3 since the att version has lte.

Only reason I was asking is the different ROMs available and all

Unlocked my from ATT to Tmobile

Now that my phone is unlocked on T-Mobile do I install ROM for T-Mobile or stay with ROM for ATT

You Must install roms from the company you got the phone from. Doesn't matter if you go to another carrier. If you don't install AT&T roms on an AT&T phone, you will brick your phone!

Isn't flashing phones illegal making this thread a discussion of an illegal hack this banned by xda rules?

I think the difference (and it's subtle) is that he's asking about flashing Sprint Roms once he's flashed his phone to Cricket, not the actual process of flashing to Cricket.
If he were asking fora guide to flash to Cricket, then yes, I'd say that this thread would be against XDA rules.
nothing illegal about flashing to cricket at all as cricket accepts foreign ESN's. So no need do clone change or do anything else to your MEID which is illegal
Has anyone on here flashed a GSIII to Cricket yet and if so are you in an LTE area? I have a GSIII that I am not using and would like to use for business only and want maybe use it on Cricket. I dont really want to pay Sprint $30 more bucks plus taxes to add it to my current account when I still have no LTE coverage.
ive got a flashed s3 no lte however because the cricket s3 uses a sim for LTE like verizon model does.
